Can The Galaxy A71 Handle Gaming? Lets Find Out! By Gadget Beard

Taking the lead, UAV recons, what's up gadgets, my name is hector, and this is gadget beard and on this channel I unbox and review everyday tech gadgets and accessories for you, and in today's video we have the galaxy a71, and we're going to play some games with it. We're going to play three of the most popular games, Call of Duty, Fortnite and pub g. We are currently at a hundred percent battery capacity here so out of the 4 500 William hour battery. Furthermore, we're going to see how fast this drains when playing games. Also, we are running the game launcher for the a71, and we are at maximum performance here. So we are at focus on performance, so we can get the actual best gameplay we can get when playing these games, and we're going to see on how well it performs on what graphic settings for each game.

So if we jump into Call of Duty the highest graphics center we can set it at is very high with the frame rate set as high. So this is for cod. I don't know if you want to play it at very high, but let's go ahead and play and see how it performs. Let's go back, let's run our first match now. I do have an Xbox controller currently connected to the a71, so we are going to use a gaming controller uh the Xbox or the PlayStation controller is probably the best gaming accessory.

You can get for your smartphone. I know there's other third-party controllers out there, but I found that the Xbox and the PlayStation ones perform the best and connect actually the best to your mobile device as well. So without further ado, let's go ahead and get this match started and see how this performs on very high settings, both for graphics and frame rate. Actually, we've taken the lead, so, oh, we lost the lead reloading. It's too close fight harder.

We tied for the lead, we've taken the lead. Let's go this way. It's too close fight, harder, repeat: UAV recon is standing by UAV online foreign, changing mag, spotted foreign care package inbound. That's our killer, drone on standby, friendly hunter killer drone deployed so is changing mag all right. So there we have it, 23 kills uh it handled pretty well, I did see some uh slowdowns here and there, and that's probably because I was running it at very high for both frame rate and graphics um.

I think if you go down the high for both, it should run a lot better, and I'm also screen recording at the same time so that can contribute to this but other than that it handled pretty well. So now, let's jump in to our other game. So let's play some Fortnite real, quick, and it's taking a little of time to load Fortnite. I don't know why but uh, hopefully it loads it up pretty quick, so we're going to do the same thing. While we wait for the game to load, we're going to do the same thing: we're going to see at what is the highest graphics settings.

We can play Fortnite, and we do have the Bluetooth controller Xbox connected to it, so we're going to run it, and we're going to see how it handles on the a71, with the snapdragon 730 and a William hour battery, we're going to see how fast the battery drains when gaming. Obviously we do have the settings for best performance through the game launcher for the Samsung Galaxy a71, so we do want it to perform. Well, if you're not too concerned about performing- and you want to kind of balance it out, you can do it within the game launcher in the settings. So let's go ahead and close this out and let's go. We do have the controller here, let's go to settings, and we are can play at 20 frames and 30 frames per second and graphics.

Now, one x is what says the graphic for right here: graphics, quality we have it is set to auto, but we could either only play in low or medium. That is the only two settings we can use low and medium. We cannot go to high uh for 3d uh resolution. You can do it at 75, but you can go up to 100 percent, but it's probably gonna uh not play so well. So let's just go 80, since we were at 75.

, let's back out of there. Let's save those settings and let's get right into a game and see what uh how well this performs here. Let's go ahead and do this now, I'm not a'm. I am not a fortnight player as I am a cod player, as you can tell that last game. I slayed 23 kills ain't nothing to a boss, homie all right now this over here is totally opposite.

Furthermore, I do not know how to play Fortnite, but I'm just going to give you guys some gameplay, so you guys can see how it handles now. This is not letting me record actual gameplay. I don't know why. It says there is a call, but we do not have a call in section right now and it Fortnite doesn't let you record probably um, which kind of sucks, but we'll just we'll just handle it like this. That is crazy, that they don't let you do.

That must be a game thing, and it's cracking off already. People are shooting at me and I have no gun. Ah, and I got blast. Is anybody going to save me as you can see it handles pretty? Well, I don't know where people are oh right, there just kill me hahaha. So let's go ahead and try it again and uh.

We'll go ahead and try to okay. Here we go um. I didn't do so well last time before so, let's go ahead and try it again. Hopefully I can live a little longer um, but I just want to give you guys a good feel on how this handles Fortnite and long enough. You guys can see some gameplay, the other one.

I got dropped right away, but this is enough. This is not my forte. This game is not the game I usually play, but I know a lot of you guys play this, so I have to give you guys some example so see if you guys can play this on a871. If you were to pick this device up, let's go ahead and land here, nice. Three guys I need ammo! Oh, dude! I need a gun, god-damn it! Oh my god, let's get it! Ah, we lost all right.

So, as you can see, it handled pretty well, so ain't no problem with playing Fortnite with the a71 at medium graphics settings. So it did pretty well. So let's go ahead and back out of here, let's go back to the game. Launcher now, currently we are at 88 battery. We did start at 100, so it is kind of uh diminishing pretty rapidly.

We are running high, intense graphic games, so it is going to diminish your battery rapidly. So let's go ahead and start pub g here, okay, so we're in pub g, and so let's look at our graphic settings. So what's the highest we can play, we can play in HD we can play in uh. This option will be available for your device. Soon it says, HDR will be available for our device, soon, ultra HD coming soon so the highest we can do its HD and the highest frame rate we can do is high.

So let's go ahead and leave it there, that's one of the highest graphics. We can do and let's go ahead and play. I don't know if PUBG has a control. I think we can. Furthermore, I'm not sure, we'll see if you can play uh with a game controller on pub g yet, and I don't think we can.

Oh man, let's see no, we cannot play let's go ahead and do a screen record you know, can record during calls. I guess we cannot record during calls, so let's go ahead and play, and it looks like it's going to handle PUBG pretty well uh. It is the same developers from cod, so I was just I was assuming you can use a game controller, but you can't, so it's a little, I'm going to unfollow, and I'm going to jump as soon as I can, because I want to get some gameplay in for you guys real, quick, let's go and jump now bear with me because I am playing through the camera. So it's a little smaller to look, but as you can see, it's handling pretty well, so the 730 snapdragon can handle basically any game. Any flagship can play just not at the highest graphics settings, but they are playable.

So that is a good thing. You can enjoy some good games on a mid-tier budget phone, which is awesome. It's rare to see that the snapdragon 600 series you were not able to play um Fortnite, at least with the 700 series you are able to play Fortnite. Now, let's find some guns. Oh, I see people over there.

So, let's go and find my gun and kill that guy. Oh, somebody just landed there too, he's in here somewhere got my first victim, it's kind of hard to play through the camera. Oh, they smoked me yep, but, as you can see, it plays pretty well. Ah, there you go bam, so pub g plays pretty well. It handles the game pretty well, as you can see, let's go ahead and play one more since that was uh, pretty short, see if we can get one more quick game in and give you guys a conclusion of what this phone can handle the a71.

So far the experience has been good. So it's not too bad. Let's go ahead and let this load and see what else we can do all right. This game is taking forever so anyways um there you have it guys the galaxy a71 it plays and handles pretty well. The only game that it doesn't handle at high graphics is Fortnite, but it does play it pretty.

Well, um it didn't skip. I've been playing for about half an hour now, a little over with the total with all three games and the device is handy. It's handling the games pretty good. So this is your game test here for the galaxy a71 handles pretty well, let's see what battery percentage we're currently at, let's exit out of here, and we are about 81 there. We can get this to focus there.
