Blue Apple Watch Series 6 UNBOXING and FIRST LOOK By EMKWAN REVIEWS

It is my favorite time of the year, because it's apple unboxing time this in my hands here is the brand-new Apple Watch Series 6. So in this video we're going to be talking about six because series, six things you need to know about the brand-new Apple Watch here on man reviews, so the unboxing experience on the series 6 is very similar to what we've seen in the previous generation series 5 in that you get this packaging that houses, both the Apple Watch and the accompanying band. So in the box itself that has the Apple Watch you're going to get some paperwork, including quick, start guide, warranty information and this year around apple, have not included a power brick. So this is something that you could purchase separately, but you will get the charging cable that you can use with an existing power, brick as well as that you get the Apple Watch itself and in this blue aluminum version. It comes in this blue kind of paper material once you take that out, you're going to be greeted with the beautiful, vibrant color of that blue. Now it's very interesting because I was expecting this blue to be a lot brighter, but I'm actually glad that it's a bit more muted in the flesh, it's more like a midnight blue and I think it's going to complement just daily, wear very, very well now, just for comparison, I want to show you what the Apple Watch Series 6 looks like next to the series 5.

Now my series 5 is actually a stainless steel version, so it does feel heavier in the hand than the aluminum version, but overall there isn't anything fundamentally different on the outside in terms of appearance other than the color. Now, with this configuration you get this the deep navy sport band. This is essentially a rubber band. That goes with the blue aluminum case, and I think it looks actually very, very nice. Now this year, Apple have announced some new bands which I'll talk about later on in the video, but for the rest of this video I'm actually going to pair this up with the charcoal sport loop.

So, let's start off with the six things that you need to know about this year's apple hot series, six and the first one is this: the colors, so apple announced new colors for this year's Apple Watch, and they include the standard aluminum. You can get it in this blue, aluminum and also a product red which is, I think, would be incredibly popular, and then we get some slight tweaks and changes improvements to the color in the stainless steel variation.

So you have the standard, stainless steel, you have a gold, and you have this really nice graphite color. This is a mix between sort of black and gray more on the gray side for the stainless steel options. So this year the options in terms of colors are pretty good from apple. So the second thing that you need to know is new bands, so apple teased us with the at the keynote with these new solo bands that go with the series 6, but they're also available with the other apple watt series, and these are essentially a super stretchy silicon band, and it's available as a silicon band or as a braided version, and the idea is, is that you have a one-piece construction. So there are no buckles.

There is no kind of system like this to take it off. You simply pull it off when you want to take it off, and you can pull it on if you want to put it on and the idea is it's supposed to be ultra comfortable, very, very easy to use, and you do need to measure your wrist size. You can do that online or in the store to make sure that you get the right fit now. I haven't got one of those in for review, but what I hope to do is actually get one separately. So if you'd like to see that video be sure to hit that like button- and let me know the third thing to know is that between the series 6 and the series 5, there is a difference between the performance, so the cirrus 6 is actually 20 better in performance than the previous generation series.5. That's certainly something that I will test out in my day-to-day and bring you in a later more detailed review, but the other thing that I've certainly noticed that apple mentioned is that the series six is supposed to be two and a half times brighter than the previous generation series.

Five, that's something that I think is a welcomed. Uh improvement, particularly here in the Middle East, where out and about it can get pretty sunny now on. The back is the fourth thing that you need to know about this year's series 6, and it's a pretty big deal, because it's one of the highlights of series 6- and that is the sp02 monitor. So if you compare this year's monitor on the back with the previous generation series, 5 you'll notice that it looks different. This year's has eight tiny dots that are lined up in a circle, and these are the red and infrared sensors, and they measure the color of your blood that determine the percentage of oxygen in it.

Now a healthy range is supposed to be between 95 going all the way up to 100 anything below that might indicate a health concern. So it's worth checking up, but essentially you can do this in two ways. You can run it on demand through an app which runs for about 15 seconds and gives you a result, or you can have it set up. So it intermittently checks in the background, and then it can alert you if there are any discrepancies or any concerns. Now this isn't going to be a major reason for a lot of people to upgrade, but for some people this can be.

The fifth thing to know is watch OS. Seven is also available now watch. Our seven is something that will be running on the apple watt series 6 as it will be on some previous generation apple watches, but watch out for 7 gives so much more in terms of functionality and performance from the Apple Watch range. Two of the things that really stand out for me number one is sleep tracking. We finally get the ability to measure quality of sleep on our Apple Watch and that's something that I'm looking forward to testing out tonight on the Apple Watch Series six plus we also get given current conditions at the moment, a feature called handwashing that's available on watch OS 7.

This is the ability to alert you to continue to wash your hands for a certain period of time, and it works really cleverly because it picks up on the sound and then also on the hand movement to bring up a nice sort of animation. To just remind you that you need to be watching for the full duration of time. One of the other things that I absolutely love about, watchOS 7, is the different new watch faces that you can choose from now. I'm actually a big fan of the Arabic numerals typography watch faces, but also can appreciate as a watch enthusiast, the attention that apple has given to the more classical traditional mechanical inspired watch faces like this GMT, both practical but also a nod at the more mechanical timepieces final thing is that, at the same time that the apple watt series 6 was announced, apple also announced a new fitness subscription service called apple fitness. This is essentially a service that will give you the ability to get experts that have put together workout training, workouts for a whole range of different levels, all the way from beginner to more expert levels, and this is designed to help you get the most out of your Apple Watch experience apple.

Fitness will be launching later on this year, plus, if you plan on buying a new Apple Watch, you'll also be entitled to up to three months free subscription to the service and apple fitness will work from Apple Watch Series 3 all the way up to the current apple watt series, six right guys.
