the worst iphone 12 pro max unboxing thus far By Sophia Camarda

Hi guys welcome back to the channel, so today is part two we are going to be unboxing. The lovely iPhone 12 Pro max. If you guys haven't seen, I just did an unboxing of the iPhone 12 like just the regular iPhone 12. I returned that, like I was trying to vibe with it and kind of keep it as like a second phone. I really did not need that, but if you want to go watch the unboxing click here today we are doing the personal phone unboxing that sounds so rich. This is in the color graphite.

They got rid of space gray, which is crazy. I was really attached to that, but I guess we'll be on the graphite wave now this is 256 gigs, because my last phone I got 64. If you're new, this video is going to be trash. I do this every year. This is my fourth year.

I think doing this, which is insane so shout out to the real ones who have been tuning in every year. To watch me unbox iPhones in the most garbage way possible. I very much appreciate it. I was going to show you guys that I was drinking a peppermint mocha, but I drank it all because I literally spent an hour setting this up. So I really hope you guys like this setup.

I am a mess. I feel like I'm off to a weird start on this video, so I'm just going to carry that into this and really just wing it, because it cheers to that. Furthermore, I already have the 11 pro max and I really love this phone like I'm. Going to have to be sending it in people. Ask me like: oh, how do you get a new phone every year I have Verizon, and they let you trade in your phone every year to get the new one, so I'm going to be getting rid of this phone, which is kind of sad.

I have a lot of memories with this phone. However, I'm very ready to upgrade, and I'm ready to open this box. You guys are probably sitting there like. I don't give a like just open it like holy, like just open it. As you can see, they've made some changes to the box.

They have made it skinny because they got rid of the charging brick and the headphones. I was going through my old unboxing and I realized I said in the 10s max video that nobody cares about the headphones or the power brick, and I'm Loki like did apple, see that like did I cause this mess and is everybody going to hate me now? Maybe look at the other stuff in the box. There are headphones, there's a cube. Who cares like honestly, everyone likes air pods, but they're too expensive. These are going to get lost.

This is never going to be used. No one cares about the rest of the box. Don't act like you do because you don't sorry that was kind of aggressive. I don't know if you want someone to blame. I guess you could blame me, but also I don't know if I'm that important, hi Tim Cook, if you're watching this okay, let's open the box, as you can see it- has a nice plastic coating, we're just going to peel that off.

Furthermore, I suppose I love this part. It's very satisfying. Okay, guys! This box is the sexiest iPhone box. I've ever seen like I took pictures of it in the car yo, wait, I'm holding it upside down. That's fine in here to hold on hold on hold on look how sleek that looks.

I'm trying not to be obnoxious, because I could scream for like 10 minutes and be like yo, this phone's so hot, but I'm trying to be calm. The back is matte black kind of it's like a glass. Let's just take it out. Let's just take it out. Okay, this is so high, like the sides guys look at the sides.

Do you see that this is definitely the richest phone apple has ever made? Let's just peel this thing off and turn it on. Here we go. This is so pretty wait. It kind of feels bigger, like this phone actually is a little bigger than the existing max. I don't know if you could tell, but they are different sizes not by a lot like it's very, not noticeable, but I feel the difference in my hand.

I'm like to wait. This feels definitely bigger wow like you're, just admiring it. Here's the front, as you can see very nice, the sides are square which is so sexy. Like I really love the square edges. I really am glad they did that, and I love how on the pros.

The square edges are like metallic and rich. Looking like this looks so expensive. The back looks like this. It kind of doesn't matter because I put a case on my phone every year, but this is hot like this is so sexy. Okay, let's turn it on.

Here we go here we go here. We go today would be nice, oh hi, hello, let's swipe up, and I'm just going to go through the settings here now it says my phone is activating confirming my phone number, which, by the way I have a really aesthetically pleasing phone number. Nobody asked, but I do so some things I've noticed while I'm doing this, they definitely move the power button and the volume buttons lower like. If you look between the two, they definitely move these lower and then even on this side too, it's definitely lower. That's not really a complaint.

It's just slightly awkward like I'm used to putting my hands in a certain spot, and now I have to like to relearn it. I hate doing the face ID, it's so annoying. I hate this okay, I feel, like a sin, create a sin. So I'm going to start this fresh, I'm not going to transfer any apps or anything I'm just going to sign in with my Apple ID. I feel so bossy typing on this.

It feels so CEO. So far, I'm really vibing with this phone, I feel very connected to it. I feel like this definitely feels richer and more expensive than this phone. Here we go. I went through the setup, and now it is saying welcome to iPhone everybody.

We really made it like. We are really here. Let's swipe up to get started, everyone's going to witness me enter the phone for the first time. Let's do this bro to we're in again, I guess comparing it to my old phone, here's, the difference I feel like they're, really similar. The cameras are a lot bigger, which I don't really know what that means like why the size has changed so much between the two cameras.

The back seems to have the same material. The sides are almost the same, but on the new one they're squared off, so I feel like that makes it look a lot richer than the 11 pro max. I don't know what this thing is on the side like, if you guys look on the side. There's like this little thing here, I don't know what that is. Could that be for a sensor like, I really don't know, I'm just a dumb on YouTube.

I'm not freaking everything apple pro. Imagine if we had like a fingerprint scanner like that would be sick, but I don't know what that is. We don't have that on this one, so I'm like what is that I don't know, let's put a case on this, and then we'll dive into the actual features of the phone. So if you guys are new, I get the same case every year. This is the apple silicone case, because I love these cases.

Nothing hits like these cases. They are my absolute favorite, a lot of people hate them because they feel like they're, easy to peel and get dented. That doesn't really happen to me. I'm really careful with these, and I've never really had too much of an issue. You just have to be careful.

So if you're not willing to be careful, you probably don't get this and the fact that this was like 40 or 50 dollars like for what I don't know. So, let's open it. These are interesting because they have the new MagSafe support inside the case, which is new, I didn't get a MagSafe charger. I don't know if I will like, I, don't have the desire to get one. The option is there, so here's the case it is very rich.

I love the diagram like put the phone in the case like thank you apple. I am such a dumb bush that I needed that diagram. So, as you can see on the inside, there's like this circle now, which is new. This is the old case, as you can see, there's like this new circle for the charging and then another difference is that the bottom is actually covered now guys. I've had this case on my phone since the last unboxing like legit a year now- and this is the condition my case is in I'd, say that's pretty good, that's my review.

I guess the biggest difference is this thing and then also this has a border now like around the camera they used to not have that and then the bottom is squared off, which is cool. It offers more protection wow. I feel so tech right now all right. Let's put the case on goodbye to the hot edges, they're gone they're literally, that's the last time, we'll see them for the rest of the year. I'm not sure how I feel about this border.

It does make it feel higher quality like more sturdy with this border on it, but also it's kind of like do I dare say chunky like I don't want to say it, but low-key kind of chunky to have this. I don't know just doesn't seem very apple of them, but wait. This feels really sturdy in my hand. I feel, like the square edges, make it easy for me to like to hold on to, I feel rich. I feel rich, I'm like holding it and letting the rich vibes into my body right now.

Furthermore, I guess I'm shocked because I feel like this is the first time I've gotten a phone and felt like I got something new in a while, because this 11 pro max was really similar to the 10s max. So I feel, like I've had the same phone for two years now I feel like. I have something a little different like it's really not that different, but I definitely am like to wait like I wasn't actually mentally prepared to have like a different phone right now. It's weird, I do feel like it's an improvement like it's very sleek like if you look straight on, I feel like it looks way more sleek than this phone, because now that the edges are squared off it's kind of like a slicked back, look, they definitely improve design wise, I'm just kind of thrown off by the camera like this is so big, like I said in my last unboxing last year that this looks like somebody after giving birth like this year, they had twins like this is huge, like I'm sorry, but this is huge. Why is the camera so big? What does making the camera bigger do like? Does that actually improve anything? I don't know we're going to find out, though we're going to find out.

Can you guys tell the difference here? I definitely see a decent size difference here, like not by a lot, but I can definitely tell even the back I feel like you can tell the difference. You can really see how much bigger high you can illuminati. You can really tell how much bigger the cameras are, which is interesting like truly just interesting. I don't know what that means, but let's check out the camera now that we're speaking of it so EW. I really need to set up what my background is gonna, be in my layout.

Furthermore, I'm definitely going to be doing a what's on my iPhone 12 Pro max because, like hello, I cannot wait to sit tonight and get this all put together because I feel like I'm at the Apple Store right now kind of rich, like I kind of like new iPhone vibes, where it's literally just stuck. Also, I'm very unsettled with this. I need to personalize it so stay tuned for that. I'm going to take pictures on this phone and then on the new phone, and I'm going to show you guys the difference in quality. Furthermore, I'm going to take a picture of my Starbucks cup with both phones, and we're going to compare the quality.

Hopefully the new phone is better or else I'm gonna just go into denial. So now we're going to do is look at the front camera. This is very important to me because, while I do feel like this phone, like my old phone, had a good front camera, there were certain things about it that bothered me. I felt like there was way too much contrast, and it would bring out features on your face that are definitely not that dramatic in real life, and then I also felt like the coloring was off sometimes like the white balance and things like that and just the tone. So this is the true test of.

If I'm going to be satisfied. Wait I really like the coloring more on the new one. I feel like the new one is way brighter. I don't know if it's just because the screen is brighter, it's way more lively on the new one. Furthermore, I feel like the colors pop out more, and they look more accurate to real life.

Furthermore, I definitely like the new one better. Furthermore, I feel like it isn't so off. Like I don't know if it was just my phone specifically, I just always felt like it was off. I feel like the new one is on very descriptive, but it's really not that different. I wouldn't say to upgrade just for the front camera: can we just admire it like I feel like we should just look at it.

Look how rich it looks like hello. This is so hot. I do wish that apple made the bezel smaller. Imagine if this black part was completely to the edge like touching the case. That would be so hot, and I really feel like it would kind of highlight the fact that the edges are square now like that, would look so seamless, and I'm kind of like.

Why didn't they do that? I don't know I feel like it looks more sleek than this phone. If you compare both the bezels are definitely the same, but I guess now that the edge is slicked back instead of curved out. It does look more seamless overall, I am very pleased with it. I feel like the phone is really nice, and I definitely do feel a size difference like even when I'm holding it, I feel like the phone is heavier, and I feel like just the placement of things. I can tell there's like a slight difference, like I'm not used to placing my fingers in certain spots.

That's what she said bye. I'm really excited, though, and I'm excited to set this up, because while the new iPhone vibe is nice, I really just want to like to get it really put together. I've actually been holding off on setting up this phone because I was waiting for this one, so I'm finally able to like get myself settled in my iPhone and move into it, which is exciting, so definitely stay tuned. For that, let's look in the rest of the box. That's probably going to take like five seconds now that they removed everything.

But let's just go. We have a little pamphlet thing. I don't even know with a sim card ejector and one sticker, and then they give us another cable which is really nice. I always like getting another cable, but that's it like that's the box. So if you need anything else, you are going to have to pay them more money because Apple is playing games.

My closing thoughts, I feel very rich, like I'm super happy about this phone and I genuinely feel like, if you do have the 11 pro max, I actually would recommend upgrading I do feel like it is a difference, and that is exciting. I would definitely recommend the max like a lot of people, ask me what they should get. I really like big screens, and I also really love the black colorway. Furthermore, I will never get an apple product, that's not black or space gray or newly graphite, which also sounds really rich compared to space gray. That is my video I feel like.
