Blu Phone No power Not charging - Fast Repair By NorthridgeFix

Okay, so here we have a blue phone, that's what the phone is called blue phone that came in for data recovery phone is in a pretty bad shape: cracked glass. Now the lady who brought this in. She said that the phone was working great and the screen is working, even though the screen is cracked and there's all that tape on it. But the screen is working fine. She was using the phone, but the charging port would give up on her one day she plugs the charging port. The phone would charge and the next day the phone would not charge, so I'm thinking it's a charging port issue, but we're still treating this phone as a phone that came in for data recovery and not as a charging port issue.

Now. The first thing I want to start doing is looking at the charging port. Honestly I do not know what model blue phone. This is there are no writings on the back. That tells you what the model number is, and before I even start.

Looking at model numbers I want to take a look at the charging port and see if I see anything obvious that we may be able to fix quick. So what I did is I pried the screen open the way you open the blue phone. Are you pry the edges until the screen opens up like this there's a metal shield on the back here you unscrew it from all sides, and then we take out the metal shield like this, and now we see the battery right now? What I want to do is I want to look at the charging port under the microscope. Is this something that we can do quick? If yes, awesome, because we are still going to get paid the same money that we quoted the customer? This is the pins for the charging port. Now, when you plug the cable in the charging, port does seem loose it Wiggles up and down, so I'm, hoping that we have loose pins or pins that are disconnected from the board.

Actually, this one does not look too good yeah. This one is loose. This one is good, so we do have one loose pin from the board. That's awesome because I'll take care of this in 20 seconds. Just have to wait until we turn our soldering iron on.

We turn our fume extractor on flux. Let's solder this in here, let's do the same for the other things also right, we should be all good, that's it and if it does work, this device will be one of the fastest that we have fixed in this shop, actually not the fastest, but one of the fastest just double-check, to see. If the pin is soldered on properly very solid and all the pens are solid, and we may have to test depends on also, or we can just look at the screen to see if we have any signs of charging on the screen. Oh, the computer recognizes the phone all right. We have a working phone, the phone turns on that's it now the battery is as dead is that down to the bones, it's going to take some time for the battery to charge on 0% right now.

Once the battery is charged 1, 2 %, then we can turn the phone on, and we can do data recovery. That's it you're, probably laughing right now.
