Blackberry KEYone vs Blackberry Priv - Speed Test! By Tech Trinkets

Hey guys, so it's time to do a quick comparison here between the BlackBerry key one phone and the BlackBerry prize, which launched about a year and a half ago. Very nice. Innovative device here from blackberry I think is their first mainstream Android model with a flip-out keyboard solution which they have gotten rid of with the key one you can see. The keyboard is already available now, which you know might divide some fans, but nevertheless we're going to compare them here and stop them at the same time. So you how the performances as well as it gets when people grade. If you have the proof, the proof also comes with a curved like amulet display, which looks absolutely magnificent in comparison to what they've gone with the key one and also I, think you can see your front facing speaker, which is nice, so definite design regressions with the key one.

If you ask me, it does become faster, though, which is nice to see I think the proof came with the awful Snapdragon 808, which can only run hot but had horrible battery life. So you can see. Does the boot a little slower here, but you can see definitely in terms of the displays here. The display on the Drive is absolutely beautiful. Even today it comes with really nice colors here, but we're going to see how the performances compare we have installed a few apps on both of them might do a keyboard typing test as well.

If that is relevant, and we're just going to get rid of everything and let's go so. The new key one comes with the more mid-range processor, but you can see here already is leaving the proof standing. I definitely feel it as well when actually using the device, the key one runs really nice and cool and feels just as snappy as your high-end Android. Overall. So clearly you can see here who is the winner when it comes to the day to day stuff and I, think we're still running Android marshmallow on Crete, which obviously you know the emphasis of the device is security, etc.

But what's the point, if you're not going to keep all today, it seems a bit weird to me but no question about it. The key one is a well optimized device here which can have a look at some games. Yes, I think a key one for that one, and we have subway I wish, did I keep the AMOLED display during the key one slightly make like good decisions in one aspect: split by Denis over so puzzle yeah. So the Sundering 808 was a terrible processor, and I'm glad that they've, gotten rid of it I think, is probably the worst every device that had it had poor battery life and just not good performance and finally GTA you Wow. So the key one is really leaving the proof, looking ancient and show any much like a year ago or so no contest here you know the key one is a massive step up if you're looking to upgrade to it.

We did also want to check out add the keyboard typing speed here. So we're going to see how that is just Ned type, some random stuff on here. So, let's just go to daily fail, hang on daily fail, so this feels so nice to type on what to say: I'm there by no means an expert with the physical keyboard, but you can see you know we are using it here. So you can see you know you can get used to it to the point where you type in use as fast. Are you using like physical keyboard? Let's just try on the PRI now, so we're going to daily fail again there we go yell of that snap out, you don't get that anymore, and I got to say, I, think the keys actually feel a bit better and a proof. You still get your mousie thing, which is good, so we're just going to scroll down here. You can definitely see the speed, isn't quite as good as the key one. You know I think I, think that the keys on the Privet hey feel a bit more plastic compared to the ones on the key one which to me is, you know, actually I, think the ones on the key one feel better overall, but I think I could probably type faster on the proof, because you don't feel quite is like shining glossy as the ones on the key one. They do feel very different in fact, so you might want to check that out before you buy a key one. If you've got proof, but overall they do. You know you can type quite quickly on them and keep up with the virtual keyboard users. So that says good we're going to as well have a look at the while we're going to look at the most asking here.

So it's just see, there are any differences, so I think the proof came with three gigs of ram or was it four plus three could have been four though whether it was you can see here no contest again. The key one is a beast in terms of performance. It's ridiculous! How good it is considering the mid-range spec, so you can see you know the basic apps here, no contest going to the camera nice and fast, and I'm guessing the games going to probably reload on both of them, because I'm not really gaming devices such, but you will go back into it faster on the key one here. But there is one thing which we do need to note here. Is that the clear you don't have like the keyboard in way on the proof, I think that it could offer a better gaming experience, particularly if you're holding the phone like this, because it notices with this one it's quite awkward trying to reach past the keyboard.

So that's something to consider well in every other aspect, the key one is superior. He is like in terms of performance, etc. No doubt about it and also the battery life. I mean I, think I'm struggling to drain this thing- and you know it's really great in terms of the endurance. Well, I, definitely think there are some things to think about here.

If you're looking to move from a prig because with the probe you're still getting, you know the better display here, nice BlackBerry, infinity, infinity kind of display he's still getting the flip out keyboard with the keys which have less travel. In my opinion, that's what I mean you can. You know really type on them quite fast front facing speaker here, which is very nice and obviously a cheaper price. You know you can get the crib now for 300 euro or even less if you look for it still comes a very decent camera. So definitely some things to consider here before jumping on the key one, bandwagon I think there's also a D tech sixty which are might check out as well, because they sneak that out.
