Best Charger for LG G8X Dual Screen - Multiple brand comparison with powermeter Mi 27W Sonic Charger

Hello guys welcome to the Indian review channel today. I'm going to show you uh, which all alternate charges you can use on the lg g8x uh, which was available on Flipkart, I'm suggesting some alternate charges, because lg did not include the original charger with the box during the sale. So first you can see this. I have been an Oppo standard charger 5 for 2 amperes, then the next one is an OPPO's VOC charger which has a rating of 5, volt and 4 amperes. Then the third one is my by Xiaomi, it's a quick charge.3 supported- and here I got the sonic charger 27 watt, fast charger by Xiaomi, which I got it delivered. It's a 27 watt charger.

I hope it works with this phone. Now on my right side, you can see I've placed a power meter, I'm going to plug each and every charger, and I'm going to show you how much power consumption each charge is consuming while charging the phone and whether the phone is supporting fast charging or not. Let's get started first, we'll start off with the Oppo standard charger, 5.2 amps. So basically, it should provide us with at least maximum of 10 watts at the bottom of the screen. You'll see the estimated remaining time for the charging and whether it's normal charging or fast charging will be shown.

Let me focus yes, it is showing charging and the time remaining is 56 minutes. It's standard charging, so fast charging is not available with this, of course, it's a 10-watt charger. You can see on the display it's showing 8.6 watts, being 9 watts consumption. So it's pretty accurate for a 10 watt charger. Now I'm going to use Xiaomi's Qualcomm quick charge, 3 supported chargers, which apparently maximum wattage you can get is 18 watts.

Now, at the bottom of the screen, you can see it's showing fast. Charging focus yes see fast. Charging is supported, 44 minutes remaining, and we'll take a look at the wattage consumption yeah. So for 18 watt charger its consumption is around 11.6 around 12 watts, which is pretty alright. Now yeah, you can see it's increasing this at least faster than the Oppo standard charger uh.

There will be a wattage fluctuation because in the energy phone setting there's something called adaptive charging which apparently you know, regulates the temperature of the battery and also the current amperage as well the voltage going into the phone. So you will see the fluctuation now we are going to use the opposable charger, which is 20 watts, 5 volts at 4 amps at the bottom display you can see, it does not show fast. Charging is normal charging so for 20 watt charger. It should consume near that range, but it's showing 8.6 8.4. So it's almost similar to the Oppo standard charger, which was 10 watts.

So it's basically charging at a slow rate. I think the VOC charging this is not compatible with this phone, so you can charge slowly anyway, but it's going to take a little time now. Let's try out the last charger. That's the Xiaomi sonic charger, it's a 27 watt charger, and it supports Qualcomm, quick charge.3 plus apparently lg supports up to Qualcomm could charge four. So, let's hope fast charging is supported, yes, and it is showing fast charging 43 minutes remaining and let's focus on the power consumption.

Sorry about the focus yeah. Now it's showing 11.11. Let's wait a little. It takes a little time to increase yeah. It starts between 11 10 11.

Furthermore, it's not increasing. Furthermore, it should technically it's a 27 watt charger, so you should be able to get someone here, 20 plus range. Maybe this phone is not supporting it. We got a better wattage out of the standard me quick charger, the black one. Now I'm going to try using the 27 watt charger on my me max 2, which is also supports, quick charge.3, let's see how much wattage you can pull out of the charger see as you can see, quick charge has started and look at the wattage go. Basically, the charge is fine.21 from the beginning, 18 months, so 27 watt doesn't mean that you'll get a continuous flow of 27 watts uh it keeps on fluctuating so that the battery doesn't overheat and now coming to the charges that you should use for the lg g8x phone. I think you should go for snapdragon quick charge, certified charges which are quick just three or four uh.

My advice would be to avoid other companies, proprietary charges like book charges for a ball or supercharged by Huawei or dash charger by OnePlus or dot charger for real way, because they use different voltage and amperage, which may not be compatible with Qualcomm's fast charging. So that's my opinion. Um hope you find your correct charge and have fun watching this video. If you like this video, give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. Thank you.
