Att Vs Tmobile Speed Test/ mifi 700 vs coolpad surf

Everybody, welcome to the China taking a bath in the bathroom is the only place you can place your gadgets in peace on this channel. We do product reviews and also some tutorials. If you want to put a channel check out my e-book WLW diet, the man who set himself on fire calm, we also have a PayPal donation link in the description of the video. So we want to compare the T-Mobile network against the 18t Network, specifically the hot spot, so we're going to go head-to-head with the fire and the cool pad serve hot spot check out some speed tests. I've been testing. If Is got this on full pattern.

Yesterday, I've been testing it around the clock, and you're going to see that gonna unboxing, but the first I want to do is just unbox it. Here's some Pacific's, and then we're going to go ahead with the speed test, and I'm gonna, give you my final conclusions and what I think about it. Now, full disclosure I got this T-Mobile hotspot for free. They are having what they call a test drive, and it was giving away 30 gigs of theta plus the free hotspot. Let's jump right into it, and I'd be right back alright.

So let's get our unboxing knife. Let's speed up the video. Let's just get right down into guys and get the box out of the box, and there you have it test, drive T-Mobile. Now this test drive, they made it extremely easy. Some information on the back tell you with all included inside the box, literally you're charging your SIM card and your battery.

What I was saying is that they made it easy, because the only thing you had to do is pop your battery. In prop your SIM card in the SIM card is preloaded with 30 gigs of data, and you're good to go. So it's a nice concept. It's test drive I, want to take this time, just to explain to you why I believe that they're doing this test drive, and it's the show of the new technology they have brought or should I say they have available spectrum within the 600 range, the 600 megahertz spectrum and that allows for going to have a bank, our band 71. Now, when they're doing this test, I believe they want to show off that that ban, they want to show off that spectrum and guys anytime, a company to do something like this believe it or not.

They really are testing their network. They really want feedback. Furthermore, they really want to see if they're getting what they're paying for if you're not familiar with how data work from cell phones look guys, they have to buy frequencies, and so you have unlicensed frequencies or unlicensed broadcasters, and you have those that have our license, meaning that they buy that frequency they buy certain megahertz, that's available. The government auction it off FCC and to me, I think that they really want to just showcase that ban 71, and this hotspot has the ability to do it. So, let's take a closer look at the hospital: okay, so here's the hot spot now on the outside.

You see it's clearly labeled. You have your signal, strength, your Wi-Fi, your message, your battery indicator and, of course you have your power on your power off. It's pretty laid out feel very light in your hand, it's not heavy, like the beef I still achieve leery, but it's beautiful I also had to remember that this is a budget hot spot. The meat fires about a hundred- and this I believe from you about fifty or seventy dollars, a little disappointed. You don't have any external ports for antennas, but, like I said it is a budget device.

So we have everything turned on now. One of the things I want to try before I put the team over in their SIM card in there. I want to try the AT&T SIM card just to see, so I'll pop the AT&T SIM card. In there, this SIM card is already activated and one of the things I discover right off. The back is that when I put the battery in there, everything turned green, they went through his booting cycle.

I was getting excited, but I know better. The only way you can unlock this device is, you will have to get a code directly from T-Mobile, but if anyone out there know how to unlock this hotspot, hey hit me up in the comment section. As you can see, it clearly is a failure. Everything went Green to the signal going to red, so you definitely have to use you rt-mobile SIM card. Okay, let's put on the first speed test that we're going to go ahead, and we're going to connect to the cool pad surf.

Now this is in a portion of my house where have a tent roof, a double roof right outside my studio, so signal it's hard to come by. You can tell right there the fires on it about one signal strength, and you can see the signal. Strength for the cool pad is in the yellow. I want to take this time, as the speed test goes on, to explain more to you what it means to have a hotspot and what it means to choose a carrier. The first thing right off the bat is people, location matters, location, location, location and some spots.

You might get better data than in other spots. It just depends on the coverage area. It just depends on how close you are to the cell towers, as you can see. Right here, like I said, is in a bad location in the house. It's not close to a window, it got a double roof, and you see how the signal went from yellow to green I noticed that had been bouncing back and forth off and on like that, T-Mobile is really looking to build out their network, using that that new frequency are using that availability of their frequency, 600 frequency, but 8mt, is no slouch either.

People ATT got a contract with the government and the contract I believe it's called first net. What they're calling it and basically the first responders, get the access to the towers. First they're going to get the first availability. So the wait hours work is that it's the difference between throttling and network managing network, managing meaning that if you have a service with AT&T because they had that contract, the first responders would be the first one to have access to that land of data. That's connected to AT&T cell tower.

At any time. The next available person, our subscribers, the ones that pay money and then the next available persons are the prepaid person such as D week such as dementia. We used would be hotspot, so that is network management. So, if you're in a congested area where it's a lot of people in the cell tower, then you going to have to wait in line with your turn. But if you're in that area- and it's not congested, or it's the time of day to where it's not congested, HIT have that new band van 14, which is LTE 14 and all of their customers.

As long as you have a device that's able to handle it all of their customers have access to that. That is the great thing about AT&T and as they're climbing all of those cell towers. They're also updating their antennas alright, so you can see T-Mobile we're getting about 3 megabits, down and 0 up, and now we're doing the meet fire test and see exactly what we're going to get now. I'm really pushing this technology right here and again to me: fires around 3 megabits down, let's see what it's going to give us up, I'm pushing this technology. The signal strength is absolutely garbage, and I'm making them work for their money right here, guys I'm, making them work for their money, and you can see the fires giving us about three megabits up so 3 3.

Let's go ahead and switch locations now right now, I'm outside my son bus, stop and I want to do a speed test. So open air should have good connection. Let's go ahead and connect to one of the hot spots right here. I'm connected to the 5 do the speed test and let's see what type of speech we're getting right here. This is the ultimate test like I said: there are no instructions we outside, and you can see right away to me, fire just gonna.

Kick it up get in around 30 20 27 29 about 31 megabits per second down, and it's still going going going so 34. Let's see what we're going to get on the upload, and again I said this me fire up to automatic the same way that the cool pad is set up to automatic. You guys watched my videos, you know that I show you how to tweak things to get the most out of it. I went ahead and changed my settings to make it a fair contest and put everything back to stop, and that is the speech that we get from the fire and wide-open area. North structures seem like I, had a quick second as a hesitation from the cool pad to connect, but you know it got his act together, and so we're connected.

Let's go ahead and conduct this speed test again. There are no obstructions, as the speed test is going on one of the things you might want to be aware of. If you're planning on entering into this giveaway that they have I, don't know how long this test drive is going to go on, but you have to log on to the website via the router you have to log, on to the hotspot and turn on your 5g because. Why I mean turn on your 5 gigahertz come my 5 gigahertz was not turned on with the T-Mobile cool pad surf, so we have about 6 megabits up, and I mean 6 megabits down and look like we're going to get about to about 187 times now guys this. Definitely.

This is definitely not the type of numbers that you will want, but I want to reenter. It depends on location, location, location and to be fair. I have got better numbers out of the coop at surf, I haven't got it past.15 megabits I've been testing it different times of the day. It might of fact. Let me go ahead and show you guys some of my test results and there are different times of the night you can see.2 a. m.

and the 60 was to me 5 to 12 was to T-Mobile. So as you can tell that, whenever I'm not into network management, the fire I really can get you some fit speeds, and my community with my me fire using my method, I'm able to get up to about a hundred and eleven down and about 90 70 up. It just depends on the side of town that I'm on in my house. I consistently get around 20 to 30 megabits and, like I, said, whenever the network is not managing me, I get pretty good speeds decent speed. So this experience for me the fight definitely have one, but I just wanted to kind of educate you guys sort of how these things work.

It all goes to the available spectrum that the company has to them. They buy different frequencies, different megahertz, and then it goes to the band and do the device support that particular bang. That's needed to get the most out of that hot spot. This runs some speed tests, but consistently the 5k me first, so there you have it the 18 T versus T-Mobile. Let's jump back to the studio, all right! Welcome back! So, as you can see, guys, I was putting the Paperhanger up against this.

Not you've been following the channel. You know, one of the things I've been doing is I've been teaching people exactly how to get the most out of the hot spot and most of all, I've been teaching them. The method get me out the method of how you can get unlimited on throttled, uncap, God's data using it method. If you want to know more about that method watching to the end of the video is gonna, be a short commercial, also, all information in the description below $25 donation. You get that video, but let's jump right into my conclusions.

As you can see the fire perform extremely better than the cool pad search now, I, don't know if it's because of the coverage area I want to get a disclaimer out first and will work better, no matter what network you're on AT&T or T-Mobile, it will work better if you are in their coverage area, I didn't pull up the map or whatever they did the test drive they sent it out. So apparently it should have worked in my area if not hey. This is what happened whenever you have a promotion, you need to get a disclaimer out there. As you see I put both of them hit the head on my ad on of my house with the ten truth: double roofs, ten roof. That is one of the worst places to get a signal in my house.

I just wanted to see exactly how I was going to do it now. To reiterate what I said during the head-to-head, the bangs matter and changes are coming.5G is coming in. These networks are steady, upgrading their infrastructure, so T-Mobile lost today, but you never know what's going to happen tomorrow.18 t is fortunate because they are taking advantage that the government contractor they got for the first responders, and so they've been updating their towers as they go ahead and lay that out and said that out, but things are going to be exciting as it relate to hotspots as related to cellular data 5g around the corner, once they build out the infrastructure is gonna, be like turning on a light switch, and it's going to be the hairs, your boy taking the bathroom.
