Asus Zenfone 8 after almost 1 month

Hey guys, so I just want to give you a quick update on the before 8. This is my final verdict. After using it for one month um the final verdict is it's not worth it uh. It would be better if it wouldn't be so buggy, but it has a lot of bugs and um. Better life still sucks, and it sucks very much so uh yeah battery life is something that's important to me. Even though I have chargers everywhere, I go.

I have the charger in my car and everywhere else, but uh it's pretty important, though you know you go someplace, and you want to have a little of battery left at the end of the day. It doesn't happen with the before 8. Uh. It overheats a lot still overheats a lot, and I had three major software updates for since I got it and I imagine you will get software updates with ASUS, but I don't know it's just not doing it and uh it's its a shame. Furthermore, it's a huge shame because it's back in the latest snapdragon 88 uh, it's back in 16 gigabytes of ram, and it's really not worth the 1000 that I paid for it because of these bugs because of these problems, and then again the number two blocker for me.

So the number one is battery and number two is the fingerprint sensor uh every time I try it every time I do. I try to do anything. It's just too laggy. It's its too slow way too slow, and then it has this glitch where, if you just misplace your finger just by a little, it'll really stop recognizing any kind of fingerprint like ever. You just you have to like you have to like um turn off the screen and then turn it back on, and you know that's that that kind of stuff right.

So I don't know the fingerprint sensor if they can fix that with the software update, I might think about using it again, but then again the overheating and the battery problems are really too much for me to handle um. So I'm sorry to say this, but I had to move back to this beast here: uh the iPhone 12 Pro max, which I don't know, I'm not I'm not happy about it. I'm not um really thrilled to be using another huge device like this, but yeah it's it is huge. I'm probably going to get another one, probably going to get the iPhone 12, but why do I keep bringing up the iPhone? You might ask yourself, you know, because I'm not a'm, not a huge fan of you know the iPhone, but the thing is, as of late, I've been learning that I don't want to spend a lot of time in the settings. So much as I used to do right.

I'm I mean you know my hair turns gray, and it comes a time when I want the device to work for me. I don't want to work for the device right. So basically, with most of the android devices out there, you have to go through settings. You have to go through a lot of uh setup. You got to do like in order to make it work somehow but yeah in the case of uh the iPhone 12 Pro max.

I don't know I'm not having that issue. I just plug it in it. Just works right, so I guess that's why I'm using it right, but yeah anyways, so the before 8 uh, it's a no-go uh! That's my personal opinion. You can do whatever you want. It's.

Maybe you don't care about these two issues, the fingerprint sensor and the battery life and the overheating- and you know the bugs you know uh, sometimes I'm not so. For instance, I have a surveillance, camera software. I have a service camera application in my android phone in my in the before and then, if I'm not logged in I'll just exit, you know the application, that's not a normal behavior! It's not something that I really wanted to do right. I'm a software developer myself! You know I wouldn't allow that to you know, escape the development process right so yeah, as you can tell I'm really disappointed with the ASUS before 8. Um.

Probably going to give this away uh. I don't know when maybe if I ever reach 1000 subscribers, I'm going to give this away to the uh, whoever right, so yeah might be like five years or so I don't know you're going to get a very old phone, so yeah. Thank you very much for watching, and I'll see you in the next one bye.
