ZTE Blade X Max vs ZTE Zmax Pro Speed Test

Hey, what's going on everybody Paul tech here and welcome to a speed test between the ZTE Max pro for metro, PCs and the ZTE blade x max for Cricket Wireless, so the blade x max is the newer device was just released not too long ago and the ZTE Max pro is almost a year old. It was released back in July 2016. I'll figure. I'll expect these two up against each other and, let's just see how well the Z max pro for being almost a year old, can compare with the newer ZTE device I'm going to come to the design of both of these phones. Furthermore, I mean they're, very identical from the camera placement. Flash fingerprint sensor, the speaker, volume, rocker SIM card tray, the one thing you'll notice, that's different is the materials used to the back there, so you've got the glossy back finish: the blade Max and the matte finish to the ZTE Max pro I.

Personally, like the matte finish, it picks up less fingerprints and oils, but I mean ultimately they both look pretty nice, in my opinion, alright. So let's go to the boot up test here. So I'm going to start both of these up at the same time so have ZTE branding on the upper corner of the blade x max. Both of these have the notification light in the same exact spot there. It's the home button there that does illuminate they both have 5 megapixel front facing cameras, 6 inches, full HD displays here so 1080p resolution looks like we are in the boot up animation for Metro PCS and as well as cricket there.

So hopefully, this video will help in your decision on which device is going to be best for you. So here we go. Let's see which one starts up first, and it is the ZTE Blade x max. So, as you can see, it's basically ready to go just in put my code and I can get right into the home screen. So the next test, I'm going to run, is the fingerprint sensor test.

So, let's see which one is fastest here we go and D blade x max one more time here we go and in my experience, using both devices, as my daily driver I can honestly tell you the blade. Max fingerprint sensor is slightly faster than 2 z, max Pro I, don't know if they added a new type of sensor, but it is very accurate and a little faster than the ZTE Max Pro fingerprint sensor go ahead and pull down the status bar. We are in the home screen now. I, basically just want to show you how they look the differences between the two. Now, if you were wondering how would 7.0 nougat look or 7.1 nougat look on the ZTE Max Pro? This is basically how it looked as you can see on the blade x max from the status bar and down to the settings. If Z max Pro ever got.

The update would basically look like that. As you can see there on the blade X max, it is running 7.1.1 nougat. Both of them have the same security patch there and a ZTE Max Pro is still on 6.0 point. One marshmallow, so you know not to sure if ZTE Max Pro will ever get the nougat update, but if it did, it would look pretty much like the blade x max. Alright, so I cleared out the recent apps there.

Let's go ahead and start opening apps at the same time, so it is the ZTE Max probe did open up faster there, and you can see the differences between the two there in CPU Z Snapdragon 435, on the blade x max snapdragon 617 on the Max pro you get, the adrenal 505 on the blade, X Max and adrenal 405. Alright, let's go to the Play Store now see which one opens up faster, and it is the ZTE Blade x max did open up the Play Store faster than the ZTE Max Pro there. So let's go ahead and exit out of the Play Store and let's go ahead and open up camera now see which one opens up the fastest and they both pretty much open. At the same time now they both got the 13 megapixel rear-facing camera 5. In the front you got manual controls on both of these.

Here you also have to see the different modes. You get a slow-motion time-lapse mode exposure panoramas pretty much the same and let's go ahead and take a look at these different filters. You have to choose from so very similar in the camera application. I mean there is some slight differences with the blade Max. Let's go ahead and jump into settings here.

I'll show you. It just looks very clean on the blade Max. It's just all one column there for your photos and video settings and is Emacs pro. Furthermore, it doesn't look bad, but you do that the two of different columns, one for camera, one for video, okay, so moving on from there. Let's go ahead and open up a system, application calculator and they both opened up at the same time.

Let's do another system, application, clock and very close, but I would say the blade Max did open up just a hair faster, let's go into the Google folder open up YouTube same time now on YouTube, watching YouTube videos, I got to say I'm still experiencing that issue on the blade X max where I'm watching 720p 60 frames per second videos. After three four minutes, it just blacks out completely I, still have audio, so I'm still waiting on an update for that, because that can be very annoying on the Max Pro. It doesn't do anything like that. I can watch 720p, 60 frames per second 1080p, for you know extended periods of time, and this display doesn't block out on me. So hopefully we get an update to fix that soon.

Okay, so let's open up maps at the same time see which one launches first, so it looks like the ZTE Max pros did load up faster. Their Maps do work great on both devices here, I've used them both for GPS on road trips and they both perform good. You know I'm very accurate when it comes to the GPS on both, but yes, the c-max Pro didn't open up faster they're, going to move on and open up MLB now. This is a great application, get all your scores from that different teams. So, let's see which one opens first, and it is the blade x max- did open up that application slightly faster there, and you can see your team's of the scores from games from yesterday or today, open up Twitter at the same time and that was very, very close, pretty much equal when it comes to opening up Twitter, and it's go ahead and open up temple run at the same time.

So, let's see which one launches this game faster- oh this is going to be very, very close, which one will it be? Oh, this e packs pro a hair faster than the blade x max launching temple, run there all right. So, let's exit out and let's open up, subway surfers here and see which one will load up the fastest and when it comes to gameplay. Both of these devices do an excellent job. I mean they can pretty much run any game off the Google Play Store, and this is very close, very curious to see which one's going to load the quickest here. So it's just about done and let's see who do we get wow? That was very close.

They both pretty much opened up at the same time into that ad popped up right there, so yeah I think they're both going to do perfectly fine with performance when it comes to gameplay. Let me just make sure I didn't open up anything on to see max Pro because of that ad that popped up doesn't look like anything's there, so good, alright, so yeah very, very close when it comes to the speed test and, let's do add, some voice searches here, real quick, see how they perform Metro PCS and the blade x max. You know slightly faster there, let's go ahead and go to the metro, PCs website real quick, and it is the Max pro you know, opening up the website slightly faster there. So go ahead and exit data, and you can tend to see the different promotions. I got going on right there and, let's exit out of the metro, PCs website there to another Google search, Cricket Wireless, oh and pretty much the same time when it comes to the search option there, let's jump into the website real quick, and it is the ZTE Max.

Rogue did open up the Circuit website faster there, so yeah very close, very, very close when it comes to these speeds. On both of these, let's go and check the RAM management, real, quick, let's open up, CPU Z there at the same time, every time I open this up. It goes into this cortex weird thing there so just ignore that Play Store same time. They both open up at the same time there and see what else we got. Let's open up the camera and the blade Max slightly faster opening up the camera and let's go ahead and open up this one right there.

The calculator Pilate x, Maxwell faster there as well, open up clock, blade x, max all right and see what else we got here. YouTube and blade x max did open up YouTube there. So let's go ahead and go into maps and let's see which one is going to be: oh, the Z max probe the Z max pros, like Stu's, will definitely load up maps a lot faster. Then D blade x max as you can see there. It was same thing when we first launched it.

It was just kind of took a while to load there. MLB got the scores right there fast on the ZTE, Max probe, and let's see what else is jump into Twitter here, and it is blade X max a little faster. There opus jump into Geek bench for now and take a look at some specs. So both of these got 2 gigabytes of RAM. They both got 1080 by 1920 displays 367 pixels per inch on both.

Then it runs CPU here this test does take a little while, so I'm going too fast for this and be right back alright. So the blade x max did finish up first with a single core score of 686 multi-core score of 1890. Three, let's see what the Max pro got. Max pro gets single core score. Seven hundred and sixteen multi-core score two thousand two hundred and twenty-two, so the Max Pro did score higher when it comes to Geek bench.

Four, let's move this on to the an tutu benchmark test. Okay, this test is just about done, so the blade x max scores, forty-four thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight and the ZTE Max pro scores, forty-six thousand one hundred and sixty-four. So, as you can see there, the ZTE Max Pro out scores the blade x max when it comes to the an tutu benchmark. Well, at the end of the day, it has boiled down to real-world usage and since I own, both devices I've used them both as my daily driver I will definitely have to give the upper hand ZTE Blade X max you are going to get some better speeds. It's a little snappier than the ZTE Max Pro I.

Think that has a lot to do with new get onboard, and you also get some good features to go along with it. The ZTE Max Pro is still a great option. I would still recommend that device to anybody out there as well. Hopefully, you guys did enjoy the speed test. If you did, please hit the thumbs up button, and please subscribe for more future videos.

This is Paul Tech and I will talk to you on the next one bye. You.
