Apple Watch Series 6 Unboxing

All right guys welcome back to another Arkansas media group. Video um today is going to be an unboxing video of a couple different things um. I have some accessories to go along with this tech product, but um it's the latest and greatest wearable that everybody is talking about if they have an iPhone almost everybody has one of these, and I personally never thought I would buy one, but I figured I'd. Give it a chance today we're going to be unboxing the series 6 Apple Watch and the 44 millimeter. This one is cellular and GPS. I figured out if I was going to get one, I would get the one with the most options, so I got that one there's not a lot of differences between the series, five and the series six.

As far as looks on the outside go, the case is still the same, and the display is still the same, but the series six has done away with the ceramic option that the series five had it has added titanium. So you can get the series six in aluminum, stainless or titanium mine is the aluminum and the graphite color. With a black sport band, you can get the series 6 in blue graphite, silver product red, I believe, and gold is another color option, but you have to get the series six, that's not available in the stainless or the SE, which is the budget friendly. One apple's been putting SC behind a lot of their products lately as the cheaper alternative to their flagships, and it's a good purchase for someone. That's just trying to your know kind of get into the Apple ecosystem.

You can get an iPhone SE, a pair of first gen or second gen air pods and an Apple Watch SC all for coming in under less than a thousand dollars. So that's the price of one iPhone, 12 pro so to apple, has made it much easier to get into their ecosystem with their cheaper priced SC products. So without further ado, we're going to go ahead and get into the unboxing all right, guys so go ahead and take a look around the box. You can see that it looks different from previous Apple Watch. Packaging is before, and it's just in this very slim white box here.

So we pulled the plastic off here, and you can see that it does say Apple Watch on there, but it's embossed in white. So it's kind of hard to tell in the video looking in the back. We've got these two flaps here that will let us gain access to the Apple Watch here, just kind of pull one up and flip them up, and over and opening the box here you can see the very colorful design on the inside. That apple has started to go with these days, and you get two boxes. You get the Apple Watch on top, and you'll get the sport band.

That is on the bottom. I took a look at this. One packaging is slim and the same. It's got the same. Pull tab here.

Actually didn't really worry about opening this as I'm not going to be using this band at all. I bought an aftermarket one, a stainless one that I'll be using with this Apple Watch, opening the Apple Watch box, it just slides open from the top here, and you have the Apple Watch on the left there. Let's start with the paperwork here on the right and typical apple fashion: uh it's front and back just showing quick start stuff, and then we have our proprietary Apple Watch charger, that kind of flips open, and it slides out of the packaging and then on the left. Here we have the actual Apple Watch. Now the SC comes in kind of parchment paper material, but this one has been packaged in this kind of card stock cardboard feeling protectant, which feels very nice.

I would like to note that this thing is a fingerprint magnet, so you've been pulling it out of the box. I noticed fingerprints on there that I'd put just from handling it like this, so we're going to set that off to the side. So next up for accessories, we have for the Apple Watch. I've got these two motor cases here, they're, really nothing fancy they're, just generic bumper cases. I don't even plan on using this gray one actually, but they were sold as a pair.

Furthermore, I actually plan on using the clear one down below. You can just see me kind of checking them out here inspecting them. I wear my watches every single day without fail, so I would hate for something you know minor to happen to them, so these will just protect it from basic bumps and scratches. I don't do anything. That's too labor-intensive.

Now I have had a metal link watch basically for the past four to six years of my life, so I had to get a metal link bracelet for the Apple Watch, so this one comes with the tool that is needed to remove links. You can see it kind of unscrews there and screws back in to push those pins out, but, like I said before, I had worn metal link bracelets on all of my watches for the past four to six years, and I in the Apple Watch is no exception here I had to get a metal link bracelet for it. That's why I said that I don't plan on using the included rubber sports, strap that comes with it. This isn't an apple branded link bracelet. This is a third-party one.

It feels just as nice, but the apple one is also ludicrously expensive. So I just went with this one that I got at Best Buy for around 30. As you can see, it deploys both ways with a metal clasp in the middle, giving it a seamless look once it is closed. This is very high quality, and I've already adjusted it to fit my wrist, and it does fit very well just like all of my other watches in the past have and then in the box. There's just some instructions, things like that, but it's pretty straightforward on how to take links out and how to put the pins back in all right- and here we are just going through the setup process of the watch, so you're going to want to power it on by holding the lock button below the digital crown, and then it'll go through its sequence of menus it'll pop up on the iPhone, and then you'll just click up setup for myself, you'll hold the phone over the Apple Watch, and it'll scan it, and then you start the process of setting it up.

This does take a little while so be sure you have about five to ten minutes, as it will sync all of your contacts and the Apple Watch compatible apps and here you're, just agreeing to terms and conditions as per usual with any new apple product, and then it's going to go through and have you select how big you want your text to be? If you have, you know hard eyesight stuff like that here, I'm putting my password. I don't really care if you all know my password, because none of you will have access to my wrist, and here I am putting in my height and my weight just for the sake of the health app. So how long I want to stand calories, I want to burn things like that: set up Apple Pay later and just go through all these menus and then right now it's just syncing all of this through, so it's syncing, all the apps over stuff like that boring stuff. So I'm not going to make you guys sit through this whole thing all right now, uh we'll go on to the features of this Apple Watch just going over. Some stuff about the series: six, you can see the metal link bracelets on and have the clear case on with the GMT watch face I'm scrolling through here.

You can just see kind of the apps that are on the watch. There are a lot more that are compatible now, um we'll go into some health stuff. So here it's measuring my heart rate, and it just takes a second to do. That just recommends that you hold still, and it's 95 beats per minute, pretty normal, for you know me just making this video and holding my wrist here like this, I'm coming out scrolling around to more apps. Here you have a compass which is kind of neat to have that on your wrist, without having to pull out your phone or anything like that scrolling through to another health app here, if you're a big cyclist, this is a cycle tracker, so it can track your cycle trips.

Things like that, and then you've got your blood oxygen levels, which this is something that only the series six has the series five did not have this um. As you can see, I did an unsuccessful read earlier so right now, I'm just trying to figure out how to go back, um and actually take this test again. So I can show you how this works, and then it wants you to hold perfectly still for 15 seconds, which is a lot easier said than done, especially when your wrist isn't on a table or anything. But after about 15 seconds, it'll go through, and it'll play this animation, and it'll show you what your blood oxygen level is minus 93, which is pretty normal. Most people are anywhere between 95 and it'll.

Show you think all about that in the menu all right, so that is it for this unboxing video of my new series, six Apple Watch um stay tuned end of this week. I might put out a video of like a week in review of what I think of the watch so far, I'm loving it all of its features and things that I can do. I know I've only scratched the surface but be on the lookout for more videos like this. Furthermore, I'm going to try to do more. Unboxing of electronics, car parts, things of that nature, so yeah, don't forget to comment like and subscribe like always so, and we'll see in the next one is.
