Apple Watch SE In 2021! (Still Worth Buying?) (Review)

Well everyone, the Apple Watch, SES, were one of the more interesting devices that apple released last year. So, first, they were the cheaper model of the standard apple watches that apple releases, and I think that was actually a very smart thing. They did. It used pretty much the previous generations, processors and I think the whole essay lineup, starting with the first Essie they made, was a beautiful thing. I love it so much, but I really do like how the Apple Watch Series 6 is the more important. I guess the know higher flagship one, but the SC is there for people who don't want to spend all that money on something like an Apple Watch Series 6, you can still get a lot of the same features on something like an Apple Watch, SC, which is really, really cool.

If you want to pick one of these things up I'll leave a link down in the description you can get them from there and help support the channel. At the same time now the Apple Watch SEO looks pretty much like every other Apple Watch. That's ever come out since the Apple Watch Series 4. And the Apple Watch Series 6. The main advantages that it has is like the always on display the same thing that the Apple Watch Series: five: has you have a couple of more additions to the heart race, sensors and all those other sensors that you have on the series six? So I think that's a really cool thing that series six had, but I do think with something like an app watch.

Sc a lot of people will just end up using their specific Apple Watch as a fitness tracker, so you're, really not even going to notice that big of a difference going from an Apple Watch SC to a series 6, if you just use the core functionality of an Apple Watch now, if you're a little more health conscious- and you want to be more aware of the different things in your sense or whatever the Apple Watch Series 6 is probably the better way to go. But, like I mentioned, the SC is there as well, and it's a much cheaper alternative. Now, on the front, you do have a couple of different models, so you have that 44 millimeter model you have that 40 millimeter model. So it's the smaller models. You have the same sizes on the Siri six and the SE, and the panels between the both are roughly around the same.

I heard the Apple Watch Series six panel gets a little brighter, but I don't think the seas panel was that bad, and it's still not that bad, like these apple watches, have perfect displays. I will say, though I like Samsung Galaxy's, displays on their watches. Those things are perfect displays, but these things are still perfect, and I think, even for the time being, if the next five years apple just keeps the same display, I really wouldn't care that much. I would love to have the ability to like to do full-fledged apps and have a little more of like a typing experience. I just don't like that gesture based design where you have to like type on like the gesture I like having like that full-fledged keyboard that some apps do take advantage of other than that.

Furthermore, I have a perfect experience with this display. Now you do have that crown on the side and the power button on the side as well. You know work fully fine. I mean they really haven't changed too much with those on the back that standard wireless charging thing you can put in the back and that really covers it. You know there's obviously all sorts of customizations different colors.

They have the silver space great and gold models, and they still have this really. Nice Apple Watch bands too. So I've owned every single Apple Watch. You know I've been using apple watches every single day after I think the apple x series, 4 they've, definitely plateaued, and I think that's a good and bad thing. I think it's a good thing because it makes some of these older apple watches still feel future proofed, but it does kind of make me upset, because you don't really see those crazy types of improvements that we kind of saw early on with the apple watches.

I remember going from like the first Apple Watch to the Apple Watch Series 2 and then the Apple Watch Series 3. Those were some pretty big improvements in my opinion, and I think ever since the series 4 somewhat plateaued, but I like the SC, because Apple was able to bring a cheaper offering, which was something that I really did like now. That covers it up in terms of the body standpoint. The biggest difference, though, with the series 6 and the series 5 Apple Watch is that it actually does have a little of an older chipset inside it. So the Apple Watch SC has essentially the same exact chipset as the previous generation, which was the Apple Watch Series 5.

So, theoretically the Apple Watch Series 6 is going to be lasting longer in terms of like the software update, it's going to be getting and then the Apple Watch SE. Is that a big deal? I really don't think it's that big of a deal you're definitely going to be still getting. Software updates on both watches the app watch. Sc is still going to be lasting for quite a bit of time, but you do. You will come to a point, probably in the next three four years, with the Apple Watch.

Sc is just not going to be getting any more software updates, but the Apple Watch Series 6 is still supported and in my head I kind of see the apple wide series 6 as something like an Apple Watch Series 3, where the series 6 is going to be that app watch that apple still sells like year after year, but I also see the app watch s e kind of taking that place as well. There's not really a number associated with this specific Apple Watch. It's just the SE, so Apple could theoretically keep updating the Apple Watch Series 6 to like the series 7 and series 8, and they could just keep kind of decreasing the price of the Apple Watch SC. Until you know the SC is kind of outdated a little more, and then they go make a sc2 for an Apple Watch or something that is also something I kind of see them doing. So, even if you don't pick up the Apple Watch SC today, it's not like you're going to run out of time.

I truly do feel like at some point. The Apple Watch, SC is still going to be sold year after year. Even beyond you know the series six and maybe even the series- seven like I said I kind of see this thing being more like an Apple Watch Series three, either the six or the SC. It's going to be one of these watches and I do think the SE is probably going to be that watch for sure. Now.

On top of this, you have the standard stuff. With your Apple Watch that you can do your speakers, your microphones, you know ability to see your messages respond to messages. I still think a lot of these things, like I mentioned before, are limited by watch OS. But beyond that there are so many things you can do with your Apple Watch that it is crazy. It is one of the most important things I've ever done, and I will tell you, if you're kind of scared to use an Apple Watch.

If you think you're going to break it, or you think it's a waste of time or money or whatever the case is dude. I would recommend you even getting an older Apple Watch like Apple Watch Series, 3 or series 4, even a series 2 and just kind of examine your experience with it. I guarantee you're going to have a very solid experience with an Apple Watch, they're flawless pieces of technology they're, just a good addition, and they're really not a crazy amount. Expensive. Furthermore, I mean, if you're going to spend like a thousand dollars on a phone spending.

A couple of hundred dollars on an Apple Watch, really isn't that crazy big of an investment and for the capability that you're getting is just out of this world. In my opinion, I think the biggest downside of something like an Apple Watch is the ability of kind of relying too much on your phone. So unless you get the cellular versions of these watches or something you will still pretty much need to use your phone. It's not quite like a phone alternative, but it's still fairly close. I think once these things get cameras in them, then it's going to be like a crazy, different story, but I do think if you're somebody who is planning on getting an Apple Watch, the Apple Watch SC, is a no-brainer.

I truly do feel like. If I were to, you know, use an Apple Watch. I see every day I use a series 4 every day, but if I were to use an Apple Watch, I see every day I would be spoiled. You know it would be like the best of the best. Like I mentioned the series 5.

I think you can get a series 5 right now in the used market for cheaper than a SC and that's a good thing. You know, I think the series 5 is actually probably a better watch than SC in some ways, but I just think with the Apple Watch, SC you're getting a solid, build quality of a device. It feels extremely premium in the hand. It looks very good. The display of this thing is still top tier, doesn't look old, it doesn't feel old, and I don't think it's ever going to feel any of those things.

When I look at the first Apple Watch that came on, I think in 2014 2015 that Apple Watch doesn't look old either. That apple still looks extremely premium, and it still has a lot of functionality. So with the SC, you might be thinking to yourself you're a couple of months behind you wish you got it in September or whatever. When it first came out, I can tell you're not going to regret getting an Apple Watch SC it has so much capability. It essentially sells itself.

If you have an iPhone, it is a no-brainer to have an Apple Watch. It is an extension of your phone, it isn't quite a replacement yet, but it is an extension. It allows you to see your messages. People call you don't have your phone on you. At least you can still be able to see and read your messages away from your device.

It keeps track of your steps, which is a humongous aspect of it, and it essentially is an extension which is something I really do like about my Apple Watch. I don't think it's a necessity. I don't think you need it, but if you're in the market, it's a no-brainer, I think, honestly, it's almost exactly the same thing as an Apple Watch Series. Six and I've done a full comparison between these two watches too. There really wasn't that big of a difference, so I really do think if you're in the market and get an Apple Watch SC, I am sure you will enjoy it at the end of the day.

So that really pretty much covers it up.
