Apple Watch 6 vs TicWatch Pro 3 vs Galaxy Watch 3 - Ultimate Triple Comparison - Which One to Buy?

What's up guys high here from high tech reviews, so today I bring you a head-to-head triple comparison between the Samsung Galaxy watch, 3 mob voice, tic watch pro 3 versus the Apple Watch 6. So, first, let's begin with the physical differences. So here are all three watches side by side. The galaxy watch and the tick watch are both 45 millimeters in diameter with a round design and both have 1.4 inch displays with time markings going all the way around. The Apple Watch, of course, is different. It's 44 millimeters by 38 millimeters, with its typical rectangular design.

So not much has changed. Design wise, and you do have a 1.78 inch display now build quality. Samsung has a complete stainless steel watch case with time markings going all the way around and a very satisfying rotating bezel, which is used to navigate the watch menus and the color is mystic black. Definitely loving the design of the galaxy watch, 3 beautiful, looking watch now the tic watch pro 3 has a plastic back so plastic on the back with stainless steel body and stainless steel, bezels smooth finish with time markings going all the way around and the color is called shadow black now, both smartwatches are slim and light, so the Samsung is 11 millimeters and the tick watch is 12.6. Millimeters Samsung weighs 65.4 grams and the tick watch is slightly lighter at 61 grams. Now the Apple Watch 6 has an aluminum body with rotating button on the side used to navigate menus, and now I picked this up in black and the Apple Watch is slimmer and lighter than the other two coming in at only 10.4, millimeters, thick, and I'll. Just pick up one of them to compare it with so Apple Watch is 10.4 millimeters thick and weighs only 49.8 grams. Now all three watches have been weighed with my own weighing scales, and I weighed them with the straps on now on the wrist.

The Samsung and tic watch feel more or less the same size and weight wise now, both watches do have two metal buttons on the side which equally stick out and personally, I'm not a fan of buttons which stick out. I do prefer the flatter styles. Now loudspeaker location is on the left on both watches, so you've got your loudspeakers on. The left. Apple Watch, however, feels completely different.

It's very light on the wrist very slim. You almost forget you're wearing it. The screen is also noticeably bigger than the other two watches. I think apple's watch design is great. You have a large display, but at the same time, a very thin and light experience.

Now, looking at the bottom of the watches, we have our health sensors. All three watches, support, all-day heart rate and spo2 monitoring and the sensor layout is certainly different on each watch. Samsung and Apple support. Wireless charging and the tic watch has charging pins and here are the charges. So we've got the standard, Apple charger and this time around you're not getting a power brick with the series.

Six tick watch three uses a magnetic clip-on charger. So just connect it to the pins and away you go and Samsung uses a similar charger to the apple. A wireless plate goes on top. Now all three watches charge up pretty fast. The Apple Watch Series 6 has a much faster charging speed compared to the previous generations, so it takes between 90 and 100 minutes to get from zero to 100 full charge on all of these watches.

Battery sizes Samsung has a 340 William hour. Battery tick watch has a whopping 595 William hour battery, and the Apple Watch has a 303 William hour battery, so take watch has the biggest battery. I just don't see why the other two could not follow suit. The galaxy watch 3 has a smaller battery than the original galaxy watch. The original galaxy watch had 400 and something I'll put it on.

The screen. Apple Watch has a 3 increase, but this is the bigger sized 44 millimeter watch, and it only has a 303 William hour battery and to give you guys some context. The smaller version of the series 6 has a 265 William hour battery, so not a great difference between the battery sizes. On the series 6 models, so what about battery life? The real-time usage Samsung with all health monitoring features on will give you one and a half days of battery life which no longer seems bad compared. If you compare it to the series 6.

Now, the tic watch pro 3, with all health monitoring features on, will give you three whole days of battery life and don't forget this has a dual screen display. So there's a TSN low powered screen on top sandwich in between an AMOLED display, so you got two screens big battery three whole days of battery life, which is very decent and finally, the Apple Watch with everything on will give you 18 hours as quoted by apple and the battery does rinse quite quickly. The always-on display is going to be the reason for this battery life, but that being said, you've got a very nice always-on display it's much brighter than the previous versions, but yes, don't expect more than 18 hours battery life from real time usage. Now all three watches have their own power. Saving modes Samsung actually has two modes for power: saving the first one is called power saving mode, and this is what it looks like it will give you around a 10-day battery life.

It disables all features except calls messages, notifications and step counter. No other feature is active, so no GPS, no heart rate and no spo2 sensor now, Samsung's. Second power saving option is called watch only, and it'll give you exactly that a digital watch is all you're going to get. It will give you a 35-day battery life, but you're only getting a watch. Everything else is disabled.

There is no other feature available, just a digital watch, so that's your power saving options on the Samsung Galaxy watch, 3. Now tick watch has a single power. Saving option called essential mode in this mode. The AMOLED display is totally switched off, so you can just see the DSTN display, which is a low powered, display, highly visible in sunlight. So when you're out and about display is going to look much clearer than indoors and in this mode you can expect up to a 45-day battery life.

Everything else is disabled. Apart from time date, step counter heart rate sensor and sleep tracking, so every night, when you're going to sleep, just turn on the essential mode and effectively give yourself a much longer battery life and finally, Apple Watch has power reserve mode. It prolongs the battery life by turning off all features except the current time. That's power reserve mode, no features will work, no heart rate sensor, no spo2, no step counter. So all you have is basically a watch only mode.

Now, let's talk about wrist straps. Now the Samsung comes with genuine leather, a very nice looking quality wrist, strap feels very premium and light on the wrist. But considering this is a 5 ATM water resistant, smartwatch, a silicon strap should have been included because if you get the leather straps wet, they will take a very long time to dry, and they will feel very damp on your hands, and you'll get a very uncomfortable feeling on your skin. If you're going to go swimming, don't wear the leather straps, just swap it out with any 22 millimeter silicone band, and you're good to go now. The tic watch pro 3 comes with silicon straps.

Now this watch is ip68 water resistant and the straps are very comfortable. I also like that you have this stitching design, so it gives the silicon strap the elegant look of leather, but you get the comfort of water resistant, quick drying, silicon straps, absolutely genius design by tic watch and both of these used standard, 22, millimeter, straps, easy to remove and replace with your own. Now. The Apple Watch has something new called the solo strap, so no buckles, no fastening, no fixtures, just a standard solo loop, which is quite easy to wear, and it's very comfortable on the wrist it's made from a stretchy, silicone type material, so very comfortable. But as long as you get the right size, my arm is seven inches in diameter and size.

Seven fits me fine, it's quick drying and, of course, it's removable, so you can switch it up with any other standard apple band if you wish. So that was basically the physical differences between all three watches. Now, let's talk about the specs now the Samsung and the tic watch both have 1.4 inch. AMOLED displays. Samsung has super AMOLED, and the tick watch has dual screens sandwiched together.

So you have a retina AMOLED display with a low powered TSN on top of it. So Samsung has a resolution of 360 by 360 and supports an always-on feature, and the tic watch has a higher resolution than Samsung. It has a 454 by 454 and also supports, and always on screen, in fact, on the tick watch. When the AMOLED screen sleeps, the DSTN display automatically activates, giving you an always-on, DSTN low power display, or you can actually go into settings and activate the AMOLED always on display, so you're getting best of both worlds from the tic watch. Now the Apple Watch 6 has quite a large 1.78 inch, LPO OLED display with a nice high resolution of four three eight by three six. Eight you've got an always on display, and this is the aluminum version so ion x, glass protection and the other two actually have gorilla glass protection.

Samsung is powered by the same Enos 9110 dual-core chip clocked at 1.15 gigahertz. Now, we've seen the same chip in all the previous galaxy watches, including the active 2. The original galaxy watch, and now the galaxy watch 3. The tick watch pro, has the latest snapdragon 4100 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.7 gigahertz. It is more powerful in performance than the Samsung's Enos, and it's more power efficient, hence the better battery life.

Furthermore, the Apple Watch uses a dual-core s6 chip. It's actually based on the a13 chip found in the iPhone 11 and will give you a 20 performance boost over the series, 4 and series 5. The apple s6 chip also adds the new u1 ultra-wideband chip and an always on altimeter and 5 gigahertz Wi-Fi. So it does look like the Apple Watch has the most powerful chip from the three now ramen storage is the same for the Samsung and the tic watch both use one gigabyte of ram and eight gigs of internal storage. The Apple Watch, however, has one gig of ram and a whopping 32 gigs of internal storage.

Now all three watches support two gigahertz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth version five, but the Apple Watch supports dual-band, Wi-Fi, so you're getting five gigahertz Wi-Fi as well. Now all three watches have very good multi satellite GPS chips built in all three support: NFC payments, so you've got Samsung pay versus Google Pay versus Apple Pay. Now, if we talk about the OS, Samsung has the latest version of the ti zen OS tick watch pro 3 has the Wear OS by google and Apple is, of course, using the latest watch OS 7. So all three oses are good in their own right with plenty of customization options. Plenty of watch faces to mess around with and all three OSS have their own app stores.

So you can download third party apps like Spotify strata and lots of downloadable watch faces and lots more. So all three OS's have come a long way and are quite enjoyable to use. Now, let's talk about voice assistance. Now this is where things change slightly. So we've got Bixby for Samsung google voice for tic watch, and we have Siri on the Apple Watch.

I guess I can't help myself we're going to do a quick test of the voice assistant. What is the weather like today in London today in London? It is raining with a high of 18 degrees and a low of 9 degrees, so that worked well. So what is the weather like today in London it'll be rainy there today with a forecasted high of 18 and a low of 9 degrees Celsius? It's currently 17. Nice. What is the weather like today in London? It's currently cloudy and 17 degrees in London, so that was a quick taste of the voice, assistance uh, let me know which one you actually think looked better now.

Let's talk about health features, all three watches will give you all-day heart rate: sensors, sbo2, monitors automatic sleep, tracking, recording, multiple sleep events in a day automatic workout detection. They all support Bluetooth phone calls directly on the watch, lots of exercise options, all three have their own app stores, and you have accurate health sensors, and we are going to quickly test out the health sensors, alright, so we're going to test out the galaxy watch. First, this is my medical grade. Spo2 and heart rate monitor. We are going to test both the heart rate and the oxygen levels.

So, okay, we are now measuring our heart rate. We've already got a result over here. Okay, so here are the results, 82 and 82, so that you can see. We've got accurate heart rate sensor. Now I'm going to test the blood oxygen.

So let's see what happens 97 and 96 percent, so we've got 97 on the watch, and it's 96 on my thumb, pretty accurate I'd, say: let's test out the next ones, all right, so we're checking the heart rate, we're going to see what the results are so 78 and 77. That's quite accurate. It's going to continuously check it, so this is on 78 on my watch 77 it's on 76 81 on my thumb, and it's 76 79 79. So you can see the results are fairly accurate. It does take a good minute for this to give you accurate results, but the galaxy watch was faster.

It gave an accurate result instantly now. Let's go and test out the spo2 oxygen levels, 97 versus 96 percent, so accurate health sensors in the tic watch pro as well. Alright, so now Apple Watch. I do like the solo loop, okay. So, first, on the Apple Watch, we're going to do a heart rate test.

It's measuring! You can see the current reading on this side, measuring on that side, 84 and 81 82 and 79, 79 and 79. It took Apple Watch about 15-20 seconds to give us a proper, accurate reading to match the thumb. So now we're going to try testing the blood oxygen on the Apple Watch. Here we go. It takes about 15 seconds.

You can see. The result is 95 on this side, 96 and 95. I call that accurate. So all three watches will give you an accurate heart rate sensor, but the galaxy watch 3 give you that accuracy much faster. So I'm not sure if it's the software or if it's a faster sensor, I want to try the Samsung Galaxy watch on again.

Do another heart rate test press measure and let's see what happens so, you can see it's on.81 heart rate is 81. On my thumb. It's now 80 79 82, 79 80. I think the heart rate sensor is probably slightly more advanced than the other two or the software is quicker. I can't tell you why it's more accurate, but it is now we're going to test the spo2, so the galaxy watch appears to have a quicker sensor than the other two 97 blood oxygen and on the thumb it's 96.

Now all three watches will give you an accurate heart rate sensor, but, as you guys just saw, Samsung's accuracy was much quicker than the other two, so we got more or less the same. Health tracking features on all watches, but there are some differences. Apple and Samsung have full detection, but the tic watch does not. Now Apple has an ECG monitor and so does Samsung except ECG on the Samsung is only available in Korea for some reason. So it's not been activated here in Europe or even in the US now Samsung and tic watch support, stress, testing and the Apple Watch does not.

Now all three smartwatches are water resistant, so you can go swimming with them on and not worry about damaging the watch, and it will track your swimming strokes, distance, calories, etc. However, the Samsung has a more advanced 5 ATM rating with military standard, 810 durability, so you're getting a durable rugged quality smartwatch, but the look of it is not rugged. It's a professional, elegant, clean, looking watch, which is slim and light so rugged qualities, but not rugged, which is definitely a plus point. Tick watch has just ip68 capabilities and the Apple Watch is 5 ATM now. Definitely an interesting topic which nobody talks about is compatibility.

Now the galaxy watch 3 and the tic watch pro 3 works on both android and iOS. Yes, there are some limitations on iOS, but ultimately you can pair up and use most of the features. For example, when connecting galaxy watch 3 to your iPhone, you may experience slow, app loading and download speeds due to BLE, which is Bluetooth, low energy, which is actually found on the iPhone connections. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection can also become unstable, and you have to repair from Bluetooth settings, and you cannot reply to notifications or messages directly on the watch. Bluetooth phone calls do work on iOS Samsung.

Health features are also limited, like viewing maps workouts of the day and recommendations won't work, and you will not see option for music manager from the iOS app. You actually have to use your PC and use a web version of music manager to transfer your music, which is quite tedious, so that should give you an idea of the Samsung compatibility with iPhones. Now the tic watch pro with iOS works slightly better all the health features and tracking work. Fine, the only limitation I noticed was Bluetooth, calls are not supported, and you cannot reply to notifications. Everything else works fine on iOS, so all your health tracking, all your notifications will come through as read-only.

You will get call alerts, but you just can't answer the call so based on my experience, tick watch pro 3 actually works pretty good on iOS. So if you've got an iPhone, that could be a good alternative to the Apple Watch and finally, the Apple Watch is limited to only apple, so no surprises there. If you buy an Apple Watch, you're only going to be using it on apple. If you buy any of these two, you have options but tick. Watch pro 3 gives you the best compatibility, so physical differences have been compared.

The specs have been compared, but realistically, which watch is better for you. This is how they look on my wrist, the Samsung Galaxy watch 3 and the tic watch pro 3, and if you are wondering again, my wrist size is 7 inches in diameter. Both smartwatches feel similar in terms of size and weight. Both are comfortable and look pretty slick. Now both are AMOLED displays, but you can see that the Samsung's AMOLED display is much more prominent and colorful, and that is because you have a TSN screen on top of this and the galaxy watch.3 is also a super AMOLED display versus a retina AMOLED display. But yes, the colors are going to look slightly different on both due to that secondary screen on top, and here is the Apple Watch and the tic watch pro 3.

, again love the lightness and slimness of the Apple Watch. It is the bigger 44, millimeter Apple Watch, and just to give you guys some context here is the smaller 40?mm. The smaller one is actually the series four, so yes, I'm definitely liking the bigger size. Um everything looks uh, bigger and nicer and brighter beautiful looking screen, and I really do like the design of the Apple Watch and the performance the way it feels on the wrist. It feels like no other smartwatch, so the design aspect is brilliant.

Now, I think all three smartwatches are great: accurate health tracking, comfortable design and premium in quality. There's no doubt about those facts. I think the ultimate deciding factor may come down to the price and battery life, but here's something else. I want you guys to think about. So having used all three extensively, I want to show you how the health is presented on the smartphones.

So, let's open up the galaxy watch, 3's health tracking, which is the Samsung health and right next to it. I want to open up apple's health tracking, which is apple. Health. Here is the summary of both. You can see more activities on this side because I've been wearing the Apple Watch uh quite recently, and you've you've got quite a bit of information.

There you've got activities, sleep and steps, and you've got some highlights and information on your averages and stuff like that, you can tap on stuff to get more detailed information. This is galaxy's page, you know again, I haven't been wearing this watch for the last three days at least, but otherwise it will show you your step, your activity, time, your complete exercise, history, you can track your food, your sleep, your weight, your water, heart rate and blood oxygen. Now, do you see how everything is there on one page? So if you want to know your blood oxygen tap it- and it will give you your latest- and it will give you your trends with charts, and it will give you your heart rate next to each reading as well same with heart rate. You've got your latest, and then you've got your trends, and you've got all your readings at the bottom as well, so very nicely laid out sleep. So I wasn't wearing this last night, but I can tap on trends.

I can have a look at days weeks months, so if we go to days, and I'll go to last week when I was wearing this watch a lot, and I'll go exactly when I had the best sleep ever nine hours, 32 minutes on Saturday 12th, I slept twice two sleep records, all the information you need, and you can rate the sleep yourself as well, so brilliant health tracking, brilliant layout really accurate. So your steps same click on trends, and you can go back to when you were active because I wasn't actively recently- and you can see all the information at a glance so really nice layout Samsung. I really like how you've done that now. What I don't like about Apple is you've, got your basic activity exercise and stand tap on it. It'll give you your day month year, which is cool.

It's good you're, getting the information you need. Therefore, activity rings are probably the best part of the Apple Watch. Now sleep is there as well so week and month, but what about day now, there's no day there day is really important. Now I can see the days so.14Th to the 20th, so I've worked out, so that's the 14th and Sunday is the 20th. So if I swipe once more that way, this is today, and it shows no sleep data at all, which is not true because I was wearing this last night, and I'll actually prove that to you.

So sleep data. You can see there 17 to the 23rd, and we've got some information there on the chart 17 to 23rd, but over here 21st to 27th. There's no information at all um. I don't know why it hasn't synced, it should automatically sync, but it hasn't. So my data hasn't synced and on the watch, that's the only information you can get for sleeping now.

I pick up the Samsung Galaxy watch now. The thing is, I wasn't wearing this last night, so there won't be no information, but if I was, it was straight away over here tell you hours and minutes is instantly ready for you to read so no sleep record today, but if I was sleeping it would give me full information on that day on the watch. You can view that information exactly how. Well, you slept how long you slept for with timings. I will pull up an old clip to show you exactly what that looks like viewing your records, but for health and sleep on the Samsung is brilliant, and the Apple Watch is not so brilliant.

I really don't like how they implemented sleep before this. Furthermore, I was using an app called pillow, and that would give me better information than the native sleep tracking. So Apple really does need to look at this and give us a better organized view on how we can view our sleep records from both the phone and the watch. Now most of you guys that use this watch, you just tap on, show all health data, and then you'll see your heart rate and blood oxygen, heart rate record, and then it will give you your heart rate record, exactly how you need it. You've got hourly day week, month and year.

So it's much more detailed same with blood oxygen. It's a very detailed blood oxygen reports that you can share. Now. Let me show you what tick watch I've done. So if we open up the mob voice, health app you've got your health center.

There's no information here, because I haven't worn this watch today. So no current information, but if you tap on health center and go back possibly a day or two, you will get all your information, so you can see here. You've got health rings, a bit like apple, and you've got your calories and your total distance for the day you've got a heart rate. Chart there, showing you your steps and your heart rate throughout the day. You've got your sports at the bottom, so any activity you did on that day will come up.

I've done a 27 minute. Outdoor walk, and you've got your sleep tracking all on one page, and you can tap each one for more information. So if I tap on heart rate, and you've got your detailed heart rate report for that day, if we go down and check out sleep tracking- and you can see, the blue highlighted days were when I actually wore the watch in bed. So if I just tap on 21st of September, which is right there, you can see that I slept for three hours and 41 minutes average heart rate 68 and 85 sleep efficiency. So if I open that up it will give you a detailed report, how I slept light sleep, deep sleep, how long I was awake for, and it gives you all the information you need.

This is how it should be done so Samsung and tic watch have it spot on the way they have implemented their health features. It's actually a treat to use. I don't find the Apple Watch, implementation of health reports, user-friendly or presentable, or even looking uh pleasant to the eye. I guess, if you're, a long-time Apple Watch user you may be used to what Apple Watch is offering you right now the way Apple Watch does. It is definitely not better than the other two.

So if we're talking about software and health reports, I would say, Samsung is the best from the three-second best. Is the tic watch pro 3. These two watches present the health tracking and reports so nicely and conveniently the Apple Watch need to take notes, so the finale or how I'm going to end this video, the biggest letdown for me for any of these watches, has to be the battery life being a smartwatch enthusiast. I love my watches. I have so many smartwatches and no, I can't wear them all at once, but when a new one comes out, I just buy it.

This is where I waste most of my money. You know other people will just buy every single phone that comes out, so the biggest letdown for me is the battery life. The Apple Watch will give you only 18 hours, which is its close to a joke, really 18 hours and that's because of the always on screen. They haven't tried to give us a bigger battery they've, given us a few more extra features, but the battery life stays the same as the series 4 series 5 and the always on screen is much brighter. So probably the battery is not going to last as long as you want it to.

If you turn off the always on display, you'll, probably get through a day and a half the galaxy watch, 3 is slightly better battery life. Considering the apple is terrible. You're going to get 1.5 days battery life with everything on and the best of the bunch is the tick watch. Pro 3 you'll get three full days of battery life. Now all three watches are very expensive: we're not talking about just expensive.

They are very expensive. The galaxy watch 3 comes in at 429 us dollars, the tick watch pro 3 is 299 and the Apple Watch 6 is 384, so you're, getting the best value from the tic watch pro 3. Apple Watch on a whole is a disappointing experience, especially for the price I'm not going to lie. I actually prefer to keep my series 4. It's going well, even after 2 years of usage, um no need to upgrade if you've got the four or the five don't upgrade.

If you've got the three, maybe you can upgrade maybe just grab the SE version, because that offers you better value than buying the series six. So if you've got the four or five don't even bother upgrading, this is good enough. You're, not missing anything. Unless you really need sp02 you're, not missing out much. So my final thoughts, if I had to pick up one favorite from the three it has to be the tip watch pro 3.

Google, where OS is just too good and snapdragon 4100 performance is plentiful. Second place. No doubt galaxy, watch, 3 and last place goes to Apple Watch six, so there you have it guys. That was my triple head-to-head comparison between the galaxy watch, three tick watch pro three and the Apple Watch. Six bottom line: I've had every single galaxy watch since the original and every single tick watch ever made, and I've not sold any of them.

I've had them all. My first Apple Watch was the series four. I ignored the five as it was not much of an upgrade and I actually regret buying the series. Six, as the overall experience is not any better than the two smartwatches on the left, and it's, and I wouldn't even say it's drastically better or different from the series four. So I guess I'm definitely going to be returning this back to apple and, if Apple thinks it's okay to put tiny batteries in their smartwatches, then they are definitely going in the wrong direction.

So the real bottom line is mob void has genuinely pushed forward with the tic watch pro 3, bringing us a brand new Qualcomm snapdragon, 4100 chipsets, bigger 595 William hour battery and an amazing Wear OS experience and even with two displays sandwiched together. Mob void has managed to keep the tick watch powered for much longer than both competing smartwatches. Now Samsung makes amazing quality premium wearables the more I've used. The galaxy watch 3 the more I've liked it it's. The only watch on this desk with military standard durability, rotating bezel, beautiful super AMOLED display the best health tracking reports in the business and the best and most accurate and fastest sensors.

From all the watches on this desk, I was initially disappointed with the price, but since spending more time with the galaxy watch 3, my opinion on it has definitely changed. So here is my top performing smartwatch chart for 2020. Things have been slightly rearranged. Based on my further experiences with these smartwatches, the galaxy watch 3 has come up in ranking to position 3. Mob voice.

Tic watch pro has taken position 2 and the Apple Watch Series 6 has taken position.6 on this chart and very frankly, mob voice. Tic watch is the people's brand. Their smartwatches are unique, they listen to the customers feedback, and they have genuinely produced something new. The tic watch pro 3 works great with both android and iOS. I've actually connected my tic watch to the iPhone 11 Pro max, and I'm not missing out on the Bluetooth calls everything else.

It works great, so very impressed with the tick watch pro 3 that I'm actually already thinking about what the future tick watch pro might be like. I hope you guys found this video useful, feel free to leave your thoughts and comments and any questions you may have and with that being said, thank you so much for watching, and I hope you all have a brilliant day. I'll see you guys in the next one. You.
