Apple Watch 6 - battery test vs Watch 4

Hello everyone how you're doing this is my new Apple Watch 6 pace gray with a solo loop bracelet. I bought it a few weeks ago, and I wanted to test a few features before I would do a couple of videos about it. I prepared an unboxing video as you can see, but I sucked so much at it that I prefer to spare you this disaster and jump right to the point of this video. Furthermore, I skipped the Apple Watch 5 because I didn't found that it had so many new features that would make it worth it. Furthermore, I've been rocking the Apple Watch 4 for the last 2 years, and I love it. The battery could be better but is good enough for the whole needs of a day.

So why did I buy Apple Watch? 6. , two reasons: improvements in the always one feature and oximeter function. I'll do a video about this feature soon. Now the all is one display feature to turn it on. You need to go to the Apple Watch, app in your phone scroll down to display and brightness and toggle it, and it's done, and let me tell you, I love this feature.

I had forgotten how good it was to be able to see. What's on the watch screen from any position with a simple wrist movement that can be especially useful when you are in a conversation with someone, and you just want to take a peek to see if you are running late, how much more battery will this feature drain will I'll be able to use my watch all day long without being concerned that the battery will run out? That's what I tested out when I was preparing the battery test. I intended to use both watches at the same time during the day, so they would be subject to the same situations, but I quickly realized that, although I could have both watches pair with the same phone, I can only have one of them connected, which means that only one of them can receive all the notifications track activity and so on. Even so, I decided to go through with the test and see how much difference would it make, so I would use both watches at the same time, but only watch 6 would be connected to the iPhone. Also, it would have the always one display feature set to on ok explanation, aside, let's jump into the test, so I started this test around nine o'clock, with both watches showing a hundred percent of battery watch.

Six is one with the blue bracelet on the left. Wrist and watch four on the right alpha day has gone and watch six is showing 82 percent of battery and watch 489 around 3 30 pm watch 6 is showing 76 and watch for 84. So there was an increasing lead by the watch.4, but remember only watch 6 was receiving notifications and has always one toggle. On two hours later watch 6 presented 67 battery and watch 476. At this point I was back home, so watch 4 was displaying some information, although not the same amount as watch 6.

Dinner time was done and by 10 pm watch 6 was displaying 44 percent of battery and watch for 60 percent, showing a difference of 16 favoring. This one around midnight battery on the watch, 6 has dropped to 37 and watch four still have more than fifty percent. At this point we can already conclude that watch six has enough battery juice to get you along the day, even with always one display, but I wanted to take this test further and see what would happen to the battery. If I used the watch 6 to track my slipped activity, something that I couldn't do on the watch for after nearly 8 hours of sleep tracking in the next morning, watch 6 had 21 of battery life left, which is the same to say that watch 6, even with always on display, can last more than 24 hours on non-stop use. Looking at watch 4, it still had 37 percent of battery life left so 13 more.

But I wasn't happy, and I wanted to take this test even a little further. I wanted to know if watch 6 would charge faster than watch 4, and I wanted to know how much different things would be. If always, one display would be toggled off, so I charged both to 100, and the first thing I noticed is that watch 6 charges much faster than watch 4. My measures point you to a 20 to 30 percent times faster to reach 100 battery. Okay, both watches are charged 200 percent.

Let's see how they hold up now that watch 6 has the always one display toggled off, but remember. Watch 6 is one that is paired with the iPhone two hours later watch 6 still showed 100 battery and watch for 97 by 3 pm battery on the watch.6 still was on 94 10 more than the watch 4. , so watch 6 after 5 hours only have lost 6 energy, which is quite amazing. We put 3 hours more on the clock and watch.6 is running now with 87 battery watch for 75, so both watches holding really well throughout the day, and we kept going with the test with two more measures at 9 00 pm with watch 6, showing 80 battery and watch 4 with 62. The final time we clocked our watches was at almost 11 pm and watch 6 still had left 77 battery and remember, although the always one display was off it, kept receiving all notifications and all measurements with 20 less battery watch 4 was holding solid assuring us that it would last all day long.

So there you go people after two years of its release. Watch 4 still puts a fight and can last all day long if you need it to new versions, are no longer available since the launch of watch 5. But if you can get your hands on a second hand, version, and you don't have the money to buy the newer ones. You won't be disappointed. Honestly.

I would rather buy a second hand, watch 4 version than a new watch 3 that you can still buy from the Apple retail stores. But, of course, at the start of the show is a new watch 6. It can be used all day long with some energy to spare in case you wish to use it to track your sleep and because it shares faster, 30 minutes of charge. While you are getting ready in the morning, will be enough to choose you up and if you need extra battery, you just have to turn always off on display, and you are good to go thanks for watching and thanks to all of you that keep watching my videos see you next time.
