Apple Watch 3 vs 2 - What’s new with the Series 3?!

What's up guys, I'm Jeff Rizzo from business comm today we're covering what the heck is new with the Apple Watch Series 3. How does it compare to the series 2 if you're new, you should consider subscribing I, think you're really going to like this channel and if you found the video helpful make sure to give it a thumbs up that always helps us out. Let's get to it. Okay, so, first up with the Apple Watch Series, three Apple obviously changed their lineup of watches, so they're keeping around the series one that's going to be their budget level, entry level, Smartwatch, that's going to start at 249. They still that 38 millimeter and 42 millimeter configuration they'll still have that now for the series 3 as well. So then, the series 3 with GPS and GLASS, that one's gonna start at 329 and then now they have a series three with cellular or with an LTE chip built inside that's gonna, start at 399, so 249, 329 and 399 for these bad boys and, like I, said before you're still, going to get 38, millimeter and 42 millimeter configurations and the 42 millimeter will be a little more expensive.

So what's new what the LTE! So the first thing is, you can get all of your phone calls and all of your text messages directly on your wrist phone freeze, so you can be out running, or you can just leave your phone behind, and you can actually answer and interact with those notifications on your wrist. So you can take a phone call talk to somebody directly from your wrist. Pretty cool, don't even need your phone around same thing with text messages and yes, Siri will work over LTE big thumbs up there. Also, some third-party apps will work like WeChat, and the native apps from Apple will work as well as mail and maps and find my friends and all of that. So I think people are really going to like having LTE, that's something that I've asked for a while.

Obviously, I'm, not gonna love getting a data plan, but at least you can get a data plan through the major four carriers. You just need the same carrier that you use for your iPhone. So if you have AT&T, you need to stick with AT&T and yes, your phone number is the same, and the other huge thing with the LTE option is you can now stream music from Apple Music, at least from the get-go directly from the device? So you don't actually need to take music from your iPhone and put it on the watch. Now you can stream it right from your wrist, which is great for people that are working out, hiking, paddleboarding, anything that you want to do where you don't want to bring your phone along. Now you can actually stream music directly from the Apple Watch.

That's really cool, obviously having LTE and all these new features. Going to take a hit. The battery life I'll talk about that in a second, but now they have an LTE option other than that. We're going to be kind of talking about what's new, with the series three models so both of them. You have GPS and GLASS that's great for running and cycling.

It's going to give you like dual coverage. Garmin usually has GPS and GLASS nice to have that I think it was unconformity. Sees 2 also had GLASS. Now they both have a built-in barometric altimeter, which is great for like running or hiking you'll, be able to get flights of stairs climbed and like elevation game, that's nice to have and remember all the Apple watches will now have launched OS 4, so you're going to get the ability to pair with certain gym equipment. You're going to get a new watch, faces a new dock and kind of new layout and some improvements to series.

So that's going to be coming to all of them. Also, the Apple Watch Series 3. It now has a new dual-core processor they're, saying that it's going to be up to 70% faster, we'll see about that. They also have a new w2 chip, which is going to make Wi-Fi up to 85 percent faster and make Wi-Fi and Bluetooth up to 50 percent more efficient. We will see about that also and because of that new processor Siri can actually now speak back to you, so you can use Siri a lot more now on the Apple Watch, which is pretty cool as well and then.

Lastly, the Apple Watch Series threes they're gonna, be about 2 sheets of paper thicker than the Apple Watch Series too. So just to sum it up. Apple Watch Series three versus two: you have one model that now is LTE, that's great, but just in general, barometric altimeter awesome to have that faster processor new to chip a little thicker. Also, now that they came out with the Apple Watch, Series three, you can bet you're going to find some amazing deals on these series too. So, if you want a GPS, you wanted the activity and sport tracking features, but you're not sold on some new stuff.

With the series 3, you should check out our website. Rizzo's comm. The link is here on the screen or download our free, iOS and Android mobile app. We don't have an apple launch one, yet we don't sell anything. We're just going to find awesome deals for you, guys and Apple watches come up all the time.

So if you don't want to overpay for an Apple Watch, you should definitely check out Ritz nice calm and in the future, I'm really guessing I'll find some awesome deals on that Series three as well. Of course, you can still expect to get access to all sorts of apps and all of that the big concern I think for everybody. It's just going to be battery life, they're, saying up to 18 hours on a single charge for the series 3 and the series 3 LTE, that's the same as what they said about the series.2 I was, quite frankly, underwhelmed with the battery life, because I'm a little more active, and so I'm, hoping that there's going to be improvements there, but I'm guessing that most people are gonna, be disappointed with battery life. I, don't want to charge my Apple Watch every night I found myself charging the Apple Watch Series to every night and I think it's gonna, be the exact same for the series 3. So me, I, don't think I'm going to be all over the series 3, even though I love having LTE built in I love the fact that they have all sorts of bands and charging docks and cradles and all this stuff for it.

So I love the ecosystem of third-party accessories. But for me, I think the battery life is probably going to hold me back. They are gonna, be a water-resistant still down to 50 meters. You can swim with them open water and in the pool, and you can still pair them with external heart rate sensors. So that's the big stuff with the Apple Watch Series 3, the middle tier one, is not a huge upgrade over the Apple Watch Series 2, but it does obviously make improvements in terms of speed and the altimeter and all of that stuff.

Obviously, the big one is LTE one. Let me know if the video was helpful. I'll see you guys in the next one make sure to subscribe, have a great day.
