Android 10 Battery Life: Pixel 3 XL - Pixel 3a XL #madebygoogle#teampixel By Ace Lucero Tech

Hey how's it going everybody now today we're going to be talking about the battery life on Android 10. This is a special requested. Video check it out right here. Somebody was asking me: hey Matthew, to do a battery life review after updating I'll. Do that so long story, short I used the pixel 3 an Excel as my daily driver for a week here recently. During that time, Android 10 dropped and the performance of the phone seemed the same.

I mean this phone's always been smooth and slightly snappy, and all that not a problem at all, but I was interested in the battery life right now. My screen on time can be all over the place right because you know like right now for the video I have the brightness turned down a little, but usually I. Keep this brightness almost turned up all the way on this phone right here: okay, just because that's what I do long story short I was still easily getting through the day, but what I mean by getting through the day is at the end of it. You 24-hour period I easily have 10 to 30% left depending on my usage right now. This is not gonna, be the same usage that a normal person would get using this device.

I'm a tech, nerd I'm, always on Twitter, Android, central or Android, Authority, and I'm. You know I keep up with the iPhone news, I'm always doing something like that or AMA I'm on YouTube I'm always checking my YouTube studio. Alright, so the average user I mean the normal user, they have jobs, they have kids, you know they go to college they're, not on their phone all the time right, not like someone like not like me, someone that you know this is what I do right so anyway, I wanted to say, I think the battery life is very similar, and we're going to watch out with the placebo effect, because every time we get an update, it's very exciting right. You want it fusing you get a new phone. Whenever you get like an Android update, you know no matter what Android phone you're using it feels like a know them.

This is all brand new. This is great, you know, and then, if you're like me, you know you do a factory reset model blah next thing. You know you got yourself thinking wow. This is really improved. We're really moving along here, all right in Oh, maybe so, maybe not, but it's running smooth.

It's running, snappy, not a prom at all, but me. But here we go so a couple of days ago, I updated my pixel three Excel D'Andre ten popped the SIM card in here for a couple of days and guess what I want to say. The battery life seemed slightly better on the pixel three Excel, not the 3a, I. Don't but remember. This has the 670, and this has the 45 processor, so I'm not, and this has a 3700 William battery 3400 William battery.

So you know, you've got some differences going on there, but I felt like this got slightly better battery life, but it will quit, though, with that being said, though, the battery life on the Pixel 3a Excel is better than this. Okay, because you have that 670, processor, okay, and you had a bigger battery, so that you know it's not as intensive anyway, but I just wanted to say you know and like I said, I'm being careful with the placebo effect being I. Don't want to. You know just say that it hey, it would speed it up, and it seems smoother because that's what updates are supposed to do so whenever you do download an update to your device, you're automatically thinking it's going to be better, and you probably want it to be better right. You're, like wishing awful, so I want to say right now that the battery life on the pixel 3a3 AXL is about the same and I honestly think that it improved the battery life on the pixel 3 Excel.

Then I use these phones exactly the same way as nothing's changed at all. All right I mean identical. That's what I do all right I'm one of those boring users alright. So anyway, that's ready for this video I just wanted to share my experience. My battery life experience with Android 10 I wanted to share with you all.
