Alcatel SmartFlip | The follow up! By J. Williams

This phone has voice-to-text what is going on folks with mange, and this is my follow-up video on this device. There's new Alcatel device, so first thing I want to point out is my screen. All of a sudden just went out, the phone hasn't been dropped, it hasn't been, you know in any pockets or anything like getting smashed against other devices. Nothing happened. It just decided to stop working I, don't recall, dropping it at all, I'm pretty sure I didn't. But if you look right there, you can kind of see a gel.

You can't really see it's kind of a dark mark at the bottom towards the AT&T logo. It looks like that's where the impact, if anything happened so right now, the outside screen is damaged, and I didn't really do anything to it. Just made phone calls with it and a little of text and everything, so I'm using it on Circuit right now. The service that was on here was AT&T, but it was an active sigh. I have circuit.

There were some of you guys had asked. Does it work on Circuit? This is an AT&T phone. All AT&T phones work on Circuit, you just pop your SIM card in this is available on T-Mobile, Metro AT&T and supposed to be Circuit. So I said that in the initial video that it was available for all those carriers, but some people still ask that question somehow I don't know. So today is the 8th, as you can see, and the phone is still on the same charge, but the battery is low, so you'll probably get at least 4 to 5 days minimum out of this phone I did a lot of phone calls did a little of YouTube, but you know yeah, you know getting to the stuff you want is the most difficult part, so the maps loaded up and everything.

Ok, you know this store right here actually went, and I installed, Twitter. Obviously, but this Kay s is, you know what people are excited about. This has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mp3 player. It's got the headphone jack, as you can see, remember there, but this is over crickets Network right here, so I turned out the Wi-Fi. So it's a few games in here and download it.

Some I played a couple for you guys. Then you got what's that Facebook Twitter for the social, and you can see I already have the Twitter installed and then here are more things you can install the store is very big. But it's got popular names in here that some people like, like candy Jam, pretty much like Candy Crush jetpack blast, that's a popular game from what I understand and a lot of these are free. You know sand. So you've got all the different stuff lifestyles, utilities news: it's everything is in this little store right here, so I decided to go ahead and install Twitter and- and you know, I try, folks, I'm being honest, I tried.

The experience is here. This is kind of the break away. I'm going to wean you off of a smart phone because honestly phones don't get used as phones very often anymore, at least depending on your age. I'd say that I make a ton of phone calls with my phone. You know it's a phone first.

Everything else is a bonus to me. So this is loading over crickets. Network I could turn on Wi-Fi. But you know it's okay. This is the experience that you get.

You know you have to navigate with this little circle right here and folks. This is some to be honest. It's not a good experience if you're buying this, because you think you're going to be able to do some quick tweets and all this other things. It's not a good, don't buy it for that, buy it for emergency purposes, like I'm going to jump on Twitter, just to look real, quick, and I'm, not expecting the best experience. Okay, look at it! That way! That's the way! You need to look at it after that.

If you could do that, son you'd, be all right. You got the FM radio. You got this large trackpad right here for making phone calls it's its totally the way a phone experience should be. Furthermore, you know, there's something gratifying about doing this, isn't it, but that is just. This is a true backup phone folks.

For me, this is a backup phone. When people say oh I'm, using the backup phone I bought an iPhone 6s, oh I, don't that's a lot of money. Just say: I want a backup phone. You want something's going to last you that never gets old. You want something.

That's going to last you for a long time on battery, and it has a loudspeaker. If you need it now, it's going to be comfortable to hold four phone calls. This is ideal for making phone calls its just what it is, so I like this phone man I just because the experience from Twitter is not the best. It does have maps. You know it's got a camera.

Now the camera sucks. Let's just be clear here, the camera sucks I took some photos. They this camera sucks in order, get quick, quick quickly to get to the communist press down like that, and then you know the again if you're just sending things through social media, real quick to send it to a family member. You know this is what you could expect issues. Video I think like here's video.

This is video from the phone. This is it it's its not! It's not gonna, be this great experience like you, you think you're going to get, so you just be mindful of that. So it's got a very nice loudspeaker, say hi, to put it next to the mic, and the quality is what you get from a phone like these folks. Not gonna lie to you. This is that phone.

That's the perfect emergency phone, meaning I got Maps I got YouTube, I got Google Assistant and I got some games. I could play to me. This is the definition of a backup phone. While it's not the fastest and while it's not the duh duh duh. Yes- and you know what the screen got like this, like two days after having it or a day of having it I, don't know what happened honestly, I don't mean I've just been using this for phone calls and some YouTube and the once or twice Twitter, but other than that sign I, don't know how that happened.

I don't know how it happened. But you know what, though, since this is my backup phone I cap I'll just buy another one for a couple of hours: I, don't care as long as this screen right here works, I'm, good, and I can still make phone calls good. That's how I feel about phones like this. You know this is this phone gets dropped and banged up I, don't really care, it's a plastic phone, but it has good service. Also, so I've been telling you don't make a lot of phone calls.

The phone has great service over 80 I, don't know how the T-Mobile version is going to be, but the AT&T version is its on point: I love, I love this little phone man, that's my honest opinion on it, though, for real anyways, you managed a follow-up video that I told you I was gonna. Do this is a hit right here? Man I definitely can recommend this to people out there that feel like they just have to have a smartphone. You can do without a smartphone. This is a phone that will help wean you off of the smartphone world. It'll make you get focused back on something like talking to your people instead of texting them, even though it has voice-to-text, and it's very good too now the Google Assistant is very nice too.

Those are little treats that you get for having this phone. You get extended battery life like a week, long battery life, but you give those little perks from a smartphone too. You can also sync your email to I. Wouldn't recommend that you, you know, try to go full fledged with it, but if this is all you have- and this is all you could afford- you can do if it's difficult, but not impossible. It's you manage a hope.
