5 Easy Ways To Speed Up Google Chrome

As many of you know: Google Chrome is not the quickest browser out there, especially on older computers. So today, I'll show you five easy ways that you can speed up Chrome to make it work faster for you, we'll start off with some easier tips first towards the end of the video. We'll have some tips for more experienced users. That's coming up today on tech, gumbo number one update, Chrome, sometimes running the latest version of Chrome will speed. It up goes to the options' menu in the upper right hand, corner and selected move your mouse over help in the drop-down menu and select about Google Chrome. Now, it'll check for an update and install the latest version of Chrome and if it updated, select, relaunch number to disable extensions are helpful to increase the functionality of the Chrome browser.

Sometimes there are extensions that we no longer need that are using up resources, so it's time to disable or delete them entirely. Select settings at the bottom of the page select show advanced settings go into the privacy heading, make sure the boxes use a prediction service to help complete searches and use a prediction service to load pages more quickly are checked.

This should make web pages open faster for you number four remove unnecessary web apps. Even though web apps don't load resources like websites. Do itbe still best to remove the web apps. You don't need anymore to get to your apps. You can either go into the address bar and type in Chrome colon, slash, slash, apps or in the bookmarks bar.

Furthermore, you can select apps on the apps. Furthermore, you no longer require right-click on the app and select remove from chrome. Then click remove number-5 experimental features now, for you experienced users. Some of you know that Chrome has a lot of experimental features that you can mess with, that can boost the rendering engines and increase the loading of pages in the browser like I said. These are experimental features if they don't work for you, you can always revert to normal at any time in the address bar type in Chrome, colon, slash, slash flags, I'll, provide the text for flags and ask in the description at the top of the page is a scary warning from Google.

If you still want to proceed, I'll show you a few of the options if you want to enable them just select enable in the description boxes, some of these features may require a restart I'll. Give you a brief overview of some of these features. They are not in alphabetical order on this page, so it might be easier to find these by using the control F function. Let's start with experimental canvas features. This feature allows chrome to make use of opaque canvases to increase loading times and performance.
