2019 iPad 10.2" | $329 Value King? | Unboxing + Impressions

So I just picked up: Apple's baseline entry level, 2019, iPad, 10.2 inch and all I'm gonna, say before I get into this video is that this thing seems to be quite the bargain and I have so much more constant plans on it, but today we're going to be doing an unboxing, and I'm also going to be giving you my initial impressions of this tablet, but before we continue here, I'd really appreciate it. If you'd leave a like on this video comment, if you have any questions, suggestions or opinions as the algorithm likes that and will help push my content to more people, so without wasting any more time, let me get into my unboxing and initial thoughts of the 2019 iPad 10.2 inch. So here we have the iPad 7 generation. The 2019 10.2 inch model I also got an Apple Pencil along with it. So let's get into the unboxing here, so I picked up the silver on 32 gigabyte model. Here, let's take off the shrink-wrap real quick with this little dinky knife here or if you can even call it a night, also put the pencil to the side for right now, because the main focus is this iPad, and here is the 10.2-inch iPad, so I'm gonna, lift it out here, put it to the side for a second here, and obviously you have your lightning cable within the box and your literature like I'm Detroit, poor guy gotta, say like that: I live in Michigan. After all, we both do I'm.

You get your Apple stickers, all your regular junk, and then you get your typical Apple iPad charger with a little removable thingy. So you can connect it to an extension cord if you know what I'm saying, but let's get to the actual iPad now, so I will unwrap this boy. Here very sad is fine. You can just slide it out of there, and here is the iPad 10.2 inch. It is very similar or reminiscent to the original iPad Air.

It seems a tiny bit bigger, but you still get the air gap and the seven point five millimeter thickness, but it is very resemblance of the iPad Air.2 and I already have fingerprints on the back here Wow. But let's power this boy on here and here is the pencil and obviously, within the box with a pencil you get some tips. You get a different little adapter here, so you can charge it with the cable alright. So here we are, so I finally set up the iPad 10.2 inch. Allow me to connect the Apple Pencil here in the stupid way that the first generation does do that, so we have to plug it in to the bottom port.

Here, hello, just a little PSA here, you're about to watch the initial impressions. Part of my iPad video here and I am well-aware just want to. Let you know that my head is bobbing in and out of the frame multiple times. I was so sorry. If it's distracting, there's no way, I could fix it and there's no way.

I can reshoot it because as a YouTuber, I, gotta upload, consistently, and sadly I cannot reshoot everything, so I'm well-aware I'm gonna work to not make that happen, but unfortunately it did, and I'm sorry just like we're. Going to have to deal with the here alongside some background noise but yeah. Let's continue with the video here, so it has been several hours after I unbox is I've, been using it and, of course, keeping in mind that this thing cost $329 to start out with and even cheaper with education pricing, starting out at $2.99 and funny story. I brought this to my sister, who has an iPad Air 2. We both did for high school, and I was like hey, would think about this.

You know for note-taking whatever, like this is the cheapo like entry-level iPad, and she looked at me, and she said Noah. This looks like a whole ass iPad to me and as I used it um. That's the same thought I had this device is such a great value. Yes, it does have older internals. It does have an older design.

It does have the air gap on the batteries. Not much changed. This is basically the 2018 iPad, the 6th generation one, but with a bigger display, but that doesn't make it not a good value. I mean I've been using it with the Apple Pencil I've done web surfing, I've opened, apps I have been, you know, taking notes with good notes that actually synced up all my notes here, and I am wholeheartedly impressed with this device at his price range. I picked up both the new iPad 2019 and the first generation Apple Pencil for 454 dollars with text that is, text included actually and yeah.

You get the whole iPadOS experience in here. Of course, you can hold down on apps to get more options. We can multitask. So here we go. I have this instance of Safari open and notability.

So we can. You know, write a little note here. If you were doing schoolwork, the note-taking is just super, super smooth, even at 60 Hertz, and keep in mind. I am accustomed to using a 120 Hertz panel with my iPad Pro, but this is just really smooth and of course, you get all the benefits of having an Apple Pencil. The pressure sensitivity just the ability to glide over the display- and things are generally fast, of course, they're- not 812, faster a13 fast.

It does feel you know a little older, a little slower, but because Apple has to make iPadOS for this iPad, they have to still optimize the 10-2 run. Decently. Um things open up, just fine benchmarks and Geek bench v are not half bad, especially considering. This is the fifth iteration of the app. So we can go to CPU benchmark here we get 752 in the single core, 13 76 in the multi-core, so not bad.

Considering once again, this is a newer app. You know newer scale, even the higher-end processors have the lowest scores, because this app is, you know, newer, and the scoring system is a little harsher but like this is definitely enough to do everyday tasks, and that is what this iPad is. For. You know it's good for web surfing. I had a really nice experience, you know doing desktop class web surfing here.

Here we are on social blade. We could even go on like Amazon the full desktop site of Amazon. Here so we can scroll through and maybe tap on the link. Let's look at these. You know air pod knockoffs here and here we go.

We can scroll through with the Apple Pencil, it's just a really nice smooth experience and then again you can do multitasking. So let's bring over a good notes here, and then they can. You know if you can hear background noise. Somebody you just decided to take a shower and I shoot in my basement where the pipes are so there's really nothing I can do, so we're just going to have to live with that here. I can bring up an instance of messages here, so we can have a windowed view, bring it over to the side.

You know view it, and then we can dismiss it and to quickly touch on the device itself. The display, despite the fact that it's laminated is it bright. It doesn't have true tone, but it looks colorful sharp. The pixel density is the same or very similar to the iPad pros in the ayah pity row. Three, so you're not missing out on you know, pixel density or sharpness there I have definitely enjoyed you know watching YouTube videos on here.

It's been a very great experience once again, with this bigger 10.2 inch display things, look colorful and sharp and the speaker's ?, although they are not stereo on they're loud enough and I, was actually impressed with how they sound better than those on my iPad Air, ? and probably very similar to what you could find on the iPad 2018, perhaps a little better, but yeah they're loud and definitely good enough for media consumption and last up I want to talk about the design and form factor of this device here. Yes, the design of this iPad 2019 is like five to six years old. It's a mixture of the air one which came out in 2013 and the air two which came out in 2014 and does that make it bad no I actually do enjoy using this device. It's comfortable, it's 7.5, millimeters thick, so you know it's cheaper for Apple to create it. This way you know I'm sure not laminating.

The display is easier on their wallet, which is why they can make this device price this way and yeah. It looks great I, don't have any issue with it here. Umm, it has a headphone jack. It still has the Lightning port, but it does look nice. This is an Apple product.

It feels high-quality, even though it isn't the most expensive iPad by any means. You're going to enjoy it. It fits nicely in the hand, there are different cases for it. If I haven't already said, this has the smart connector, which can allow you to connect to Apple's own home-grown keyboard case, which does work really nicely, and overall I have to say with what you're getting here. You know a decent mid-range, is processor, iPadOS, which is just an excellent experience.

As I have said in the past, you know Apple Pencil support, which makes it great for drawing and note-taking I'll do several videos on that with this device, comparing it to other iPads ? in the future. This iPad is a whole ass iPad, like my sister said, and by the way she was the one taking the showers. So thank you. Emma I am really impressed with this device. I would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking to enter the Apple ecosystem.

You know you want to try out iPad, but you're not totally sure get this for your mom get this for your grandma I actually have two older relatives, my grandma and her friend, who have the same iPad. They have the iPad 2018, and they absolutely love it for playing games and checking their email. This device is for anybody of any age and for any use I mean you could do you know video editing photo editing if you really want note-taking web browsing. This iPad is for anybody and that's why Apple still sells and that's why Apple makes it so affordable, and I once again am really impressed with what you're getting here. It truly is a great value.

I'm gonna, do a full review of this I'm going to be doing full comparisons. I will compare it to my iPad Pro and I also plan on comparing it to the air 3 and the iPad Pro 10.5 inch. So leave me a comment if you have any other content ideas, but yeah. That's what I got going with the iPad 2019 once again super impressed with it and I cannot wait to make more content about it and that about wraps things up here once again, I'd really appreciate it. If you leave a like on this video comment, if you've any questions, suggestions or opinions and subscribe for more content like this expect a lot more content on this baseline iPad once again, I want to be comparing it to the iPad Pro, probably the iPad Pro 10.5, the air 3, possibly even the mini and, of course, I have iPhone 11 and 11 Pro max content coming soon as well, and as always I'm Noah I will catch you all in the next one. Hi welcome to that I'm on my video to be ten minutes long Club people ask me like how do you buy? You know like the iPhone 11 outright and like finance the pro max and buy a bunch of other products for review, and I'm.

Like do you think, I sell hot dogs, I make YouTube revenue and, as a small creature, I don't get a hundred thousand views guaranteed per video, so I have to your know, put mid-roll ads in when I can, and I try to do so conservatively, so I'm not like an, but you know like more's or somebody or like Mr. beast, except Mr. beast is awesome. He can do that because he does a bunch of crazy stuff but yeah long story, short mid-roll ads, enabled me to buy products reviews. So please understand that if you see videos in the future, where I'm like having a bunch of ads on there, it's math as I'm greedy, it's because I literally need revenue to buy products like the upcoming iPad Pro, hopefully the upcoming Surface Pro.

You know the MacBook Pro new iPhones, new tablets, etc. I invest my YouTube revenue into this channel almost entirely. Alright I, don't I, don't have anything I really need to buy on up buying clothes all the time I like food, gas and tech. So please understand that and yeah I will catch you all in the next one.
