Xiaomi REDMI NOTE 10 4G - BUDGET DREAM PHONE for EVERYBODY!

So guys, we've recently watched the launch of Redmi Note 10 series. And we also saw my unboxing of Redmi Note 10 Pro. We saw how beautiful this Redmi Note 10 series is and I can tell you it's a big jump over from the Redmi Note 9 series. Xiaomi have brought us something, and it's the Redmi Note 10. This is the younger sibling of Redmi Note 10 Pro. And we know that four variants were launch for the Redmi Note 10 series.

We have the Redmi Note 10S, Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Redmi Note 10 5G. So I'm not quite sure what else will be released in the Philippines, but I'm sure this one will be released. So, let's go unbox this Redmi Note 10. (introduction music) So, hi guys! I'm Richmond of Gadget SideKick and welcome back to my channel. And we've seen the full unboxing of this Redmi Note 10.

And we can say that it kind of look the same with the Redmi Note 10 Pro, but it's a bit smaller in size and it's a bit thinner, it's also lighter, and there are also compromises on this phone. Of course, the Pro version is more jampacked compared to this non-pro version. So let's go first know the specs of this Redmi Note 10. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 which is a mid-ranger processor. Maybe it's on the lower mid-range.

I can tell you that the 732G of Redmi Note 10 Pro is way better than this one in terms of performance, maybe on gaming. Maybe you'll see the difference in terms of gaming. We'll know that later. So this phone comes in three variants. So you either go for 4/64, 4/128, or 6/128.

And of course, it also has three colors to choose from. It has the onyx gray, it also has the lake green, and of course the pebble white. So, what did you want? For me, I'm kind of conventional, so I'll go with the onyx gray. So in terms of performance, we got from AnTuTu Benchmark roughly 240,000 points which is this is the almost the same score that we got last year from the Redmi Note 9S. And, its performance in terms of multitasking, in terms of daily task, it's very, very smooth.

I didn't have any problems using this phone. Now, swiping left and right, it's very, very smooth. Even if it's not a 120Hz, I can tell you that it's still okay even if it's only 60Hz. And we've also looked at its score over the AITUTU and it's gotten a score of 116,000 points which is okay.1,466 points on the 3DMark, 540 single-core points on Geekbench, and 1,625 points on the multi-core. And what's nice about this phone is it's running MIUI 12 already on the latest Android 11.

So right now, let's talk about its screen. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. And yes, you heard it right. It's an AMOLED.1080p and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It's amazing, right? Last year, on the Redmi Note 9, it was just an IPS LCD.

I am right. And this time around, it's now AMOLED. And I can tell you that XIAOMI didn't left us hanging when it comes to its display. The black is blacker, the colors are punchier on the AMOLED. Then its back is a plastic back and a plastic frame.

Of course, we shouldn't expect for it to be glass, because the glass is for the Pro version. And another surprise to this phone is in its DRM info. It was given a Widevine Level 1 security which means we can watch HD on Netflix. It's very, very welcoming for the movie watcher and for the telenovela watcher on cellphones. Then, of course we tried watching YouTube on this phone.

I can say that its viewing angle is very, very nice. Although, its chin is not that thin, so I don't really expect that its chin is very thin. But, what's nice is the dot drop notch of this is quite small. It's not the smallest that I've seen. Redmi Note 10 Pro is smaller, but this one is small enough that it won't obstruct when you're watching your favorite TV shows on this phone.

Now, running Call of Duty on this phone, I can say that my gaming experience on this one was okay. Though, I cannot say that it's one of the best that I've tried on these phones. But the experience on it is good enough for us to kill a lot of enemies and win in this game. Its experience is not as good like with the Pro version of this phone, but it's enough already if you're really on a budget and you want to go for some good games. It can perform.

Though it's not that super high graphics and high frame rate that we want, but I can tell you it's playable. On Mobile Legends and PUBG, I also didn't have any problems playing this game. Now, moving on its camera. So the Redmi Note 10 Pro boasts the 108MP. On the Redmi Note 10, it has a 48MP Sony IMX sensor as its main camera.

Then, it has an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. Together with its 13MP front camera, let's go take a look at the shots on this phone. So, I can tell you that the outdoor shots on this phone didn't give me any problems. It's really nice, it's really sharp. It's good.

Even if it's not 108MP, it's performing very, very well. Now, we've also tested it on night scenes. Though it's not that good with the night scenes we've got from the Redmi Note 10 Pro, but this phone I can say that its night scenes is not really that bad. There are times that we can see that it's kind of grainy where it's got some noise, but often than not, It's still good. Let's go take some samples on its front camera.

Smile! Oh. What can you say? It's very handsome, right? I can say that this front camera, even on lowlight, it's still okay, it's still a performer. But, there are times when it's very dark, it'll be very grainy where you can't see any decency on its pictures. But when you give it some light, it can still perform. On bright outdoors, you won't have any problems on this phone.

Especially if you're using it for online schooling, the video quality is very okay on this front camera. Now, let's first take a look at the videos on this phone. Now, this phone can take several modes— 720p, 1080p, 4K display. Now, its stabilized video in this can only be at most 1080p 30 FPS. We've taken a look at its video quality.

On outdoors, it's sharp. Especially on bright outdoors, it's very, very nice and it's very, very stable when it's running 1080p 30 FPS. But if you are using 4K and 30 FPS, I can say that it's not that stable anymore, and it's kind of jittery. Checking some videos over from the front camera... So guys, this is how it looks like when you're using the front video of the Redmi Note 10.

Check it out. Well, not bad. Still impressive. I can tell you that the clarity of the video is okay with its front camera. The only downside is It's kind of jittery.

So best if we'll use a gimbal to avoid the shakiness on this front camera. But it can be used for vlogging. This phone comes with a dual stereo speakers on top and on the bottom. Then, of course it has a hi-res audio certification which means the sounds on this phone is good, which is very welcoming for people who loves to listen to music. And what's nice about this phone, its fingerprint scanner is carried over from the design of Redmi Note 10 Pro which is a curved rounded design for its fingerprint scanner.

I told you in my previous video that I didn't like that much the fingerprint scanner of the Redmi Note 9 series. Yes, it's innovative where they put it on the side which makes it more accessible compared to when it's on the back. Its old flat design on the Redmi Note 9 series, I didn't like it that much, because sometimes my fingers are kind of gets stuck, especially the skin when you're kind of like finding blindly. It's like the edges are kind of sharp, but this time around, they have corrected it by making it round which is very, very welcoming for me. We've tried its fingerprint scanner.

It's very, very responsive. Check it out. Not bad. Guys, the battery of this phone is a 5,000mAh of battery. And it's pretty, pretty big for its size.

This phone is pretty small. It's thin and lightweight. Now, this is the surprise. On the Redmi Note 9, 18W is the only support of this phone. But this time around guys, its charging speed is now 33W which is very, very upgraded over the 18W.

And, I can tell you that its charging speed is very, very fast. In less than an hour and a half, this phone is full from 20% to 100%. And guess what, I used this phone roughly for two days before it got fully drained to 5%. And... Well, the basic tasks that I did was social media, I've used YouTube, I've watched a bit of Netflix, then... I did phone calls, and of course a bit of gaming.

And it lasted me for roughly two days before I hit the charging dock. It's durable. It's durable. Guys, we've covered the Redmi Note 10, and I can tell you this is really a budget performer in terms of multitasking, in terms of its camera, its display, and of course its battery life. This one is really, really good.

Maybe the only thing I didn't like about this one is its gaming performance. I didn't really expect too high on its gaming performance since it's only a Snapdragon 678. And, of course 732G is very different when it comes to gaming. But, the games on this phone is playable. So guys, do you like this phone as your daily driver? What do you think?
