Xiaomi Redmi 9 | Full Review #Redmi9 #Xiaomi By J. Williams

All right guys welcome back to another video shaman jay, so this video is on the Xiaomi Redmi nine. Now this is a device from Xiaomi. This is another device from Xiaomi, and I'm sure you're, probably thinking man. There are so many versions of this Redmi 9 or these Redmi devices, and I would agree now you have a choice on uh and I guess this could be a good or a bad thing, depending on who you are um and what you're looking for in a device so picking a Xiaomi device could be kind of tough um. It's going to depend on what you're looking for like size of phone and things like that. The position of the camera dual speakers' camera quality, but you won't be able to tell that until you actually get the device.

But what I can't tell you about this phone, it's pretty cut and dry the same way. I felt about it more than um two weeks ago or, however long it's been since I've had this phone um I've kind of feel the same way now. Uh Xiaomi produces some great devices, and this comes down to pretty much. If you're, if you're within the Xiaomi window or or or device of trying to pick a device in the Xiaomi lineup you do have a lot to choose from, and that could be a bad thing or a good thing like I said before, but this device is a good device. It's a and fifty bucks- and you know, there's just a lot of phones here for 150 bucks.

So let me point out the things that I think might disturb me if, like. If I had to use this uh for two years, um, some things could possibly be fixed with. Then a software update and some things probably can't, but the video quality on this device is not up to my standards. It is really decent, and the average person will enjoy this. Video cover this video quality that you get from this device.

Let's just be clear, but there are other Xiaomi devices that cost a little more. The cameras are just slaughtering this camera for video quality and video quality is a big thing, uh that I'm on for phones, because I want to be able to use my phone for a good, video or vlog, or something like that when I'm on the go- and I don't have my DSLR- my mirrorless camera- you know if I don't have any of my other cameras, I have to rely on my phone. I want the phone to be great and video quality on here is about average uh or a little below average. For me, that is, your standards might be different, so you might say this. These video cameras will do and actually will do when it comes to just basic social media or shooting things with your family.

This will work, but on the flip side of that photos are fantastic on this device. They're they're, beautiful, there's, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the photos that come from this device and lets um show you some here. I did a photo review on this thing, and it's the quality that you get from. It is actually really solid. I mean I have.

I have no complaints on the quality that comes from this. These cameras. They do very well uh. It's just that that video, but photo is where it's at uh, and I really think that photos on here are really above average for the price uh that you're paying for this phone photos. Look great now.

Let's talk about performance, this has the hello g80 inside now they touted this um to be not a gaming device. I think the 8080t or something like that, and I know the 90t or something like that- is the gaming processors. But this one is a good processor. If I haven't had any issues with this thing: uh, no slowdowns, no stutters, no hiccups, no crashes, no, nothing! Everything performs just fine, and I think that when for day-to-day tasks, you should be okay, uh with the performance that comes from the hello g80. Now when it comes to the software.

Obviously this is a stock looking software, but this phone also has themes too, like Xiaomi devices has themes, and you can change uh themes and icon packs, and this is ultimately what I did right here. I put on a theme with the round icons. That's ultimately it and the themes run on this phone very well, no problems whatsoever. You should not have an issue with the quality that you get from the themes on this device. Even the stock theme on here should please, let's go here.

Let's go to settings uh, let's go like go back out here. I go to settings this way. Let's go, I could go to themes. I guess I could, I'm so used to doing it like this, but uh. The stock theme is up here, the classic uh or the limitless.

These are. These are stock things that you can apply, and you know the performance is the same. You just make the phone look a certain way. I personally just like that theme that I was using uh. I don't I don't like the square boxy type, uh, icons, uh, and then I just updated the wallpaper to what I wanted.

Furthermore, I went in and changed the wallpaper uh to another wallpaper. That's the one that comes with that theme- and I just went in here- and I just looked at installed ones and changed it to this one and that's it, and you can make the phone look any way you want. So now I have my round icons back, and I have this nice purple uh wallpaper here, because I want to talk about hardware. So the hardware on this thing is really, really good. Hardware, we're looking at a 6.53 inch display 13, megapixel camera 5020 William hour battery I'll get to the battery in a sec. You have option for three or six gigs of ram.

Now this is actually a three gig of ram version, uh with 64 gigs of onboard storage uh, and this is running android 10. It's upgradable to me, UI 12. Uh, the hardware on here. Just the way this phone looks is fantastic, it's got a matte, feel to it, and then it's also got a texture. It's almost irritating to the touch depending on how you touch it, but you got this nice camera set up on the back here, and this is actually the fingerprint reader that bottom one.

So when you hit that fingerprint, it opens up, that's just so beautiful how they did this right here. This actually has a four camera set up. The other one is over here uh, and it's a good setup. It's a nice setup. This is their purple, color uh.

It look it shifts in color, depending on whenever how the light hits it uh. But you know, ultimately, you get all the things that you might need: an IR, blaster, headphone, jack type, c, speaker route and uh. The power button is over here and the volume rocker is outside, and then you just got your sim tray over here. It's got like this flat bottom design. I think that's kind of cool, but this is the front of the device and yeah there.

You have that six point five three inch display and when you think about that you know about years ago, we never thought we would have seen a 6.53 inch display for 150 bucks. You, you just can't imagine having something like this come out, and you're just like whoa wait a second. This 2020 is definitely different from uh 2010. You know so this is its a whole different shift. Pricing companies have to shake up the industry with the price, because it's getting so tight out here.

It's going to be difficult to sell a person and people now keep their phones longer. They do so um hardware on this thing top-notch. It feels good. It looks good, it's an it's a good setup. Now, let's talk about the battery in here, uh is 5020 Williams, and you're.

Going to go all day. You should be able to get at least 10 hours of screen on time. You should average 10 to 12 hours of screen on time easily. Furthermore, you really should this. This should not be difficult for you to average 10 to 12 hours of screen on time, because this battery goes and goes and goes, and it has a 1080p display, but it still goes and goes and goes the Xiaomi software is just right.

It keeps everything in check and in line, so you should not have a problem with this man. I mean it should be fantastic for your battery life. If I'm pulling down three days and getting like 10 hours of screen on time, you should be getting. At least I mean if you don't use your phone as much as I do. You should be getting.

You know, I'm talking about having 10 email addresses, synced, all the social media, everything um you should be getting at least five days, and you might not get 10 hours. I don't know, but you'll at least get eight hours and that's fantastic over a five-day period, because your phone will always be there when you need it so overall, folks, this is a good buy links in the descriptions you can grab.
