Xiaomi Mi 11i - Almost Perfect! By Flossy Carter

Yo: what's up everybody, it's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we're going to take a look at the Xiaomi mi 11i. Now this phone isn't available yet, but the manufacturer retails, suggested price is going to be 650 euros. Now, according to google, that's around 780 bucks, but it's not going to be that price, and let me tell you my logic behind that right now. If you go to get stop, the Poco f3 is selling for 400 bucks. Now these phones are basically identical, except for a few key differences which I'm going to talk about in a minute now the 11 is selling on git stop for 680 bucks. Now this phone has ip68 dust and water resistance.

A quad HD display wireless charge reverse wireless charge. This is a full size flagship phone for 680 bucks. Now the mi 11i is right in the middle, so I'm a gambler man, I'm placing my bet right now. I'm going to say this phone is gonna, go on sale for 500 to 550 bucks, and, if you think about it, it makes sense because the black shark 4 just dropped for 500 bucks and the specs are similar. Now, look if you like to gamble place your bets in the comment section again, I'm saying this goes for 500 bucks all right.

So let's go through the specs real quick. Now this is available in three different colors. You got silver white and black for the display. You got a 6.67 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 that is 395 for the PPI patrol. Furthermore, you got HDR 10, plus up to 1300 nits brightness and a 120 hertz refresh rate.

Now you got gorilla gas 5 on the front and on the back with an aluminum frame and the phone is ip53. Splash resistant for the processor get the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 with the arena 660 GPU. Now what does that mean in English flagship, specs, bro flagship specs? Now you got eight gigs of ram 128 or 256, gigs of storage, no micro SD card slot for expandable memory. Now the phone is running android 11, with mini 12 skin. On top, you got a 4 520 William battery that features 33 watt fast charging now Xiaomi claims.

You can charge your phone from zero to 100 in 52 minutes. Now you got dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos on the rear. You got a triple camera setup, so 108 megapixels, wide angle, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 5 megapixel macro on the front. You got a 20, megapixel wide angle lens. Now you also got Bluetooth 5.2 NFC, always on display face unlock fingerprint sensor. You got thought protection, and you got an IR blaster all right.

So, like I said my guess is going to be 500 to 550 bucks. What's missing, no quad HD display no ip68 dust and water resistance. Like I said it's ip53 splash proof, so it can get wet, but you can't jump in the pool, no wireless charge, no reverse wireless charge, no expandable memory and, of course, for my petty checklist, no headphone jack. That's just whack bars all right, so let's unbox this and see what it is. First things first shout out to white shoes.

She got the day off here we go Xiaomi me 11i, like I said the stands for in between all right. This phone is in between both of these phones and just in case you're wondering before I get go too far right on time. Ladies and gentlemen, late, but still great white shoes is back in the buildings white shoes down. Okay matter of fact, let me tell you all the differences between the Poco f3 and the mi 11i all right, the mi 11 in between first the build quality both of them have glass on the front and glass on the back, but the poker f3 has a plastic frame. The mi 11i has an aluminum frame next, the processor.

Now the mi 11 eyes has the snapdragon 888 the poker f3 snapdragon 870. So you got a better processor with the eye next ram, six gigs of ram on the f3 eight gigs of ram on the and here's, probably the biggest difference, the camera. You got a 108 megapixel main sensor versus 48 megapixels on the Poco f3 and, of course, the biggest difference. The price, the Poco f3 400 bucks. My guess, 500 550 at max- do not spend 600 bucks on this because you might as well drop an extra 80 and get the 11.

All right now. I'm going to leave the Poco f3 right there, because I want you all to see exactly how similar these two phones are. Okay for presentation, nice, white box, you all know: I love that dignity here we go inside. This is gonna, be a sim ejection tool. Okay, okay, here we go now.

This is what I'm talking about. You all feel that genuine excitement, bang, Samsung, apple dongle, all right now, a lot of people been asking me: what's the dongle, the jungle. Are you plug this into the bottom of your phone? And now you got a headphone jack, so I just said: no headphone jack, that's just whacked! Now we got a dongle all right, so it ain't that whack more bars. Let's see what else you got, you got your usual books and pluck them and follow them, and you get a case now. This is what I like to see: one-stop shopping, okay, gel skin case, nothing too fancy, but it will protect your phone now.

One more thing that I got to mention a lot of you all when you all see these hairs on the phone you all think my phones are broke, it's cat hairs. This is another banger right here. This is a heavyweight phone. Let's see what else you get. Okay, a little insert flick of the wrist. This is going to be your USB type-c charging, cable, all right USB-C to USB type-c, and this is where the winning continues all right.

This is more wins charger in the box. Okay, dramatic pause charging, the box you all know what I'm getting ready to say: Samsung apple, stop it all right charger in the box. Whenever you see a thick box nowadays, you got to get hyped because you know you're going to charge it. Okay, now here's the me11 and here's the Poco look closely all right. If I go like this, you don't even know which one is which they look identical, and they almost feel identical again: Poco f3, 400 bucks.

This has to be 500 bucks. It has to alright. It has to here's the mi 11, okay, better cameras on the mi 11, ip68 dust and water resistant wireless charge, reverse wireless charge. One of the difference also is flat display all right so on the mi 11 and the mi 11 ultra, you got these curved screen displays with the Poco and the mi 11i. Lets kind of power, this up real, quick flat screen display not to mention fingerprint sensor on the side, all right.

Now, I'm going a little too fast. Let me uh wipe this down. Look at that all right, so I'm going to pause the video. Let me connect to my Wi-Fi, delete my browsing history, and we'll walk through the OS talk, emotion, yourselves, all right, you all. So we back in now.

Look I've been using this phone for a couple of days, and I love it. There's only really one thing that I don't like is no wireless charge, but other than that. If the price is right, which I think it will be, this is going to be a game over phone all right, it's going to be game over for a lot of other phones. If this drops at 500 bucks to 550 at max, this is an automatic win. First things: first, build quality glass on the back glass on the front.

Aluminum frame feels so good in the hands. Ladies, you know the procedures on one side, you got your power button with the fingerprint sensor built in all right on the top. You got your speakers, your IR blaster on the other side, nice and clean on the bottom. There's your sim tray, another mic, USB type-c charging slot and your other speaker grille. Now, of course you got your always on display with one of my favorite Xiaomi features super wallpapers.

Now before I show you all that here's the thing that I got to say about this phone, this is probably going to be the smoothest, 500 android phone on the market, smoother than the red magic smoother than the black shark, just as smooth as the dog, but has better cameras than the ROG better cameras. Now I caught a lot of grief when I said that I, like the uh me 11, ultra smoothness, more than the galaxy s21, all the Samsung knights, was knocking at my door, ready to fight. I was inside hiding, but I'm just keeping the real job, the Xiaomi phones. They always feel faster and smoother, and this is the perfect example watch this now there's a couple of different ways: you can open up the device you can swipe up, putting your pad in your pin. Next, you got the fingerprint sensor built into the side.

Now, if you watch my videos, I usually hate that this phone made me fall in love with having the fingerprint sensor on the side, and it's the fastest side mounted fingerprint sensor that I've ever used in my life, and I'm going to prove it to you right now. If shoes doesn't troll me all right, watch this okay watch. This look at that touch now I'm going to. Try that with a different finger. Nothing! So you see that it is the fingerprint sensor opening if it's not face unlock.

I just moved my code back in. I did too many wrong attempts. Look at this the other day. I was doing this in the house. You know just playing around.

I wasn't even paying attention and I said, wait a minute look how fast this fingerprint sense is rocking. This is one of those phones that, when you pick it up, it opens so fast on your finger. It's almost too fast, because sometimes I want to look up and see my lock screen. I want to enjoy that super wallpaper. This fingerprint sensor is unbelievable, and I can do this all day.

Try doing this with your galaxy Samsung knights, 500 bucks, crazy, now watch this you also got face unlocked now. I got to use this finger to touch the button. Look at the face. Unlock superfast super smooth. Now, of course, super wallpapers all right since we're talking about super here's, one of my favorite ones, always on display.

Okay, that's the planet, press, the button, that's closer to the planet, press it one more time, bong to the surface of the planet. So now, if I do this slow, while looking at it, I mean without looking at it, you can see the gradual camera zoom from outer space to the planet surface. I love that all right and shout out to Xiaomi, because the new me 11 on the newbie me 12 12.5 update they brought in another super wallpaper all right. Now you got matter of fact. I want to show it to you all, because you all need to see how dope this is I'm going to pull it up on the uh me this phone right now on my me 11, I don't have to update yet, but I'm going to show you what it looks like on the mi 11.

So this way you know if you buy this phone, it's coming soon, let's go to uh wallpapers. Okay, now the new super wallpaper, it's called snowy peaks. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and apply that and watch this. So now you got the snowy peaks a little closer to the snowy peaks. Let me do that one more time this is, you know I always get trolled because I forgot to forget to do it here goes look.

This is snowy peaks closer to the mountain and I love how it just seamlessly transitions into the always on display that is so dope. So you got the same. Super wallpapers minus the snowy peaks, but you got all the planets, and you got the geometric shapes that fingerprint sensor is unbelievable. Next now I'm not going to go through every all the settings. Like I usually do, but let's try to keep this quick.

Of course, you got your basic settings minus the uh power share, but you got your scanner. You got flashlight, you got, do not disturb ultra battery. Save up got your hotspot nearby share, NFC, all right and if you go to edit here's the rest of them. Okay, basically all the toggles on deck said done. Go over to settings about phone see now this one is running me UI 12.0. Now, if you want to have the dope new update, let me show you which one you got to get so, if you're at home, paying attention, you're going to have to get this one me UI 12.5.4, all right! That's the newer version. You notice! Even the symbol is different.

You're going to get the snowy peaks. Now I actually got snowy peaks on the phone that I sold today on my me 11 ultra the white version I'm mad because on the global one they don't have the update. Yet anyway, let's see uh. This is um 256 gigs of storage, with eight gigs of ram. Okay, keep it pushing.

Let's go to connection and sharing okay, so you got VPN NFC private DNS nearby share Chromebook, that's one of my favorite features and android auto. Now the side note, if you don't know about Chromebook, if you do have a Chromebook make sure you use Chromebook on android. Okay, this way as soon as you open your Chromebook it'll, automatically pair up with your phone and use the internet from your phone to power, your Chromebooks internet just keep it moving. I'm sorry! I don't know why that baby left isn't that all right, let's see um anything else, always on display. Now, of course, you got all you're all you're always on displays.

Let's go to uh animations all right. I like this one. You got a bunch of different animations. Let's leave it on starlight. Let's see raise the weight, that's why you get that smooth transition, lock, screen format.

You can put your name on it. Basically, all the settings. Let's go to display. Okay, let's go to brightness level.1300 nits you all know how I feel about the knits color scheme. Okay, now you got auto saturated original and advanced.

Now, if you go to advanced, you can tweak the settings yourself, but I'll leave mine on saturated nice and wet, let's see, um anything else, refresh rate bong 120 again. If this phone drops for 500 bucks, Xiaomi will be solidifying the title of the phone manufacturer of the year because we gotta knock out Huawei, because no google apps so Huawei is useless in the USA Samsung. They didn't come out with a new note because right around now the new note should be getting ready to drop and really kill the mi 11 ultra, but it didn't drop so right now the mi 11 ultra is the Ragnar?k phone again 120 hertz, refresh rate beast, see anything else. We need to see in that nope. Let's go to uh, sound and vibrations.

Okay, now you do have Dolby Atmos. Where was that sounded effects? Okay, Dolby Atmos! You got a full-size EQ, dynamic, video, music and voice, and you got a full-size graphic equalizer all right. So I got mine on custom, but you got rock jazz pop classic hip, hop blues, electric and metal. Okay, let's see, let's go to uh notification and controls. I don't need to see that we know that is already wallpapers themes, password and security screen.

You got uh face, unlock fingerprint sensor and your smart lock Bluetooth, let's see anything else: uh privacy and protection battery performance. Okay. So now you got battery saver and ultra battery saver. So if I turn this on right now, I'm going to get up to her 202 hours worth of battery okay, 33 watt fast charging 0 to 152 minutes, it's pretty dope, all right, pretty dope! So now, let's do a little sound test and test the speakers, and if I'm going to do a sound test, I might as well use the official flossy carter sound test by my homeboy mark Rubio. Now let me say this Xiaomi makes the best phone speakers on the market period full stop. The mi 11 ultra has the best speakers on the market.

Last year's me 10 pro, has some of the best speakers on the market. These speakers right here they sound just as good watch this everybody shut your mouth a sound test time to test that quality of sound test. Does it sound big? Does it sound loudspeaker? Look how loud the top speaker is. Listen, sound, white! It, ladies and gentlemen, mark ruby, a hashtag mood and on a side note, does anybody at home go like this? That's a sound test. Does anybody do that dance? I like that anyway, the best speakers on the market goes to Xiaomi phones.

This phone is right up there with the mi 11. Ultra speakers are insane now, of course, it is a fingerprint magnet. You're going to have to wipe it down, but look at that look at that all right. The gaming phones they're going to have a higher refresh rate, and they're going to have bigger batteries, but these phones are going to have better cameras all right. So if you're a gamer get a gaming phone for 500 bucks, but if you're just a regular person all right- and you just want a dope phone with a nice camera for 500 bucks- you want a phone like this all right. These phones are always going to have better cameras than the gaming phones.

Of course, if you want instant access press the power button twice, that'll bring up the camera world star hip-hop status, let's go through the different shooting modes. You got pro mode change. Your white balance, your focus, your shutter speed, ISO exposure, different lenses go crazy. You got video so for video. You got wide angle, video all the way up to six times.

Zoom. Okay, now check this out from video. The max resolution is 8k, that's insane, but you can do 4k 60 frames per second okay, and you have AI camera, also photos. You got wide angle all the way up to 10 times zoom you see that cat hair right there, let's see if I can find it wow that zoom is so close. I can't even see it.

Let's see! Look at that the naked eye. I could see it did I grab it. Look at that now. That's not the scumbag zoom, but it's good, though all right, that's a good size zoom. You got portrait mode which you can change different effects, and you can add more beauty.

Okay and you got more, so you got night mode, 108, megapixels, short video panorama, documents, vlog, slow motion, time-lapse, dual video movie effects, long exposure and clone. Now, as usual, I don't like to talk about the pictures and videos. I want you to see them for yourself, and you be the judge, but keep this in mind all right. This phone is going to be less expensive than the 11 and a little more than the Poco f3. The camera to me is pretty good.

So now, let's talk about one of the features that separates Xiaomi from Samsung, the IR blaster and on the side note Samsung. Basically, what that does be turn your phone into a universal remote control.

Now I know what you're saying: oh, it's only TVs, that's kind of lame. No, it's not only TVs. Stop saying that! Okay, you got your cable boxes, you got projectors, you got refrigerators, air conditioners, DVD players, satellite TVs, cameras and more I just because it's not on this list. There's plenty of things. I got a remote control blender.

I ended up pairing it to the blender, and it worked all right. The IR blaster is so clutch, especially right. Now I'm getting ready to go to Vegas. You see this is the TV I got set up in my house, but when I go to Vegas, I made a mistake last time of not bringing one of my phones with an IR blaster. Never again, all right.

Never again, this is going to be in my pocket. When I go to the restaurants, all right, if they play is they play in um, the State of the Union address, I ain't trying to watch that, while I'm drinking book turn the TV off turn the channel. As soon as I come in my house, I don't gotta. Look for remote controls hit one button turn on the TV next button turn on the air conditioner next button. Whatever else I got paired up turn on my stereo go crazy.

Now, I'm going to show you what the IR looks like in action. One more thing I want to mention this is a is one of my generic clips, because all these phones, the IR blaster, works the same. So I'm not going to keep shooting the same video over and over. I already got one clip. This is a generic clip, but the IR blaster works the same on any phone that has it.

Here's how it looks all right check this out now from the phone I'm going to select the remote. I added a Sony controller watch this there's my TV, we're going to hit the power button fully functional remote control. Now, if I want to turn the TV off just like that, the IR blaster is a major go all right. So the last thing that I got to talk about is one of my other favorite features, second space or, as we call it on my channel thought, protection also known as scumbag mode. Basically, what that is two phones.

At the same time, let me explain it to you all right now. If you watch my channel you've seen this a million and one times I'm going to open up the phone, using the thumb that I've been using all day, okay you all see the regular wallpaper that I had the whole video my Facebook there's my Twitter there's my Instagram and there's my tick-tock and let's go over the gallery. This is all the pictures that I took now, I'm going to lock the phone and instead of using my thumb, I'm going to use my first finger, also known as the thought print just like that that fast notice, the different wallpaper no Facebook logged in no Instagram, no tick, took, no Twitter, no photos in the gallery now fellas. If you're a real scumbag, then you're going to leave your phone unlocked like this, and the person that you're with is going to think that you're not on social media at all, that's a scumbag move all right, also, if you're dealing with a spot- and you go to the bathroom they're, going to pick up your phone and go through it. Ladies, that's a thought, move all right, fellas, don't be a scumbag! Ladies, don't be a that, then you won't need to have second space, but in the reality that we live in.

This feature comes in handy now, lock the phone back to my thumbprint. Okay, let's open it up with the thumbprint. Here we go again. This is my Facebook there's my Twitter there's my Instagram there's my tick-tock and there's my Instagram again. I just see something real, quick right and here's my gallery all right.

You want to go into scumbag mode, lock the phone use your scumbag fingerprint just like that. No more Facebook, no more Instagram want to go back to being a gentleman break out the thumb and there it is. There's your Instagram right to where you left off Samsung now, uh look, I know Samsung has secure folders and all of that, but it ain't the same it ain't the same. You need to have it accessed just like this. You need to be able to easily access it without even thinking about it.

Look at that anyway. Let's go ahead and wrap this up, but second space is a major go and there's another reason why I love these Xiaomi phones, all right so, overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'm giving the Xiaomi mi 11, I am major go and if the price is right, this phone is going to be twice as nice bars now look. The only thing that I can really gripe about is no wireless charge. Now that's not a dealbreaker for me, but it might be for you if you really need wireless charge, spend a couple of extra bucks and go with the me11. This is a full-size flagship beast now, if you want to save some money- and you still want thought protection and an IR blaster go with the Poco f3.

But if you want to be the apex predator on the scene- and you want to shut down all your Samsung friends go with the me11 ultra all right. This is the top ROG right. Now you see the secondary display. This is the apex predator, the tyrannosaurus Rex, the Ragnar?k phone, all right so for 2021 Xiaomi is coming through with 100 w's matter of fact. Oh, look at this.

It kind of it almost looked like the letter w for a minute. This is a w. All right, Xiaomi is coming through with the w's. I would have said this is the trifecta, but this is actually the quadrifecta of Xiaomi phones, and we still didn't do the 11 pro yet anyway, like I said on the scale of 1 to 10, this is a double major go. If you have wireless charge, it would be a triple major go, but if you want that go with the 11.

, this is still the sleeper phone of the year. All right, I think this year's award for the sleeper phone of the year might go to the 11. Order. OPPO find x3 pro one of those two, but this is a beast. This is a beast also.
