Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G vs OnePlus 8T Speed Test

Welcome back everyone to another video. This is will p, and here I have two interesting phones for the speediest, the OnePlus 8t and the Xiaomi mi 20 pro 5g. Both of these two devices are equipped with the snapdragon 865, and they come with eight globes of ram. They are identical in terms of processor and ram and also very similarly priced around 600 euros. The 80 can also be found with 12 gigabytes of ram, and that would cost around 100 euros more, but I think the 8 gigabytes of ram is more than enough for most users. Anyhow, I think it would be interesting to see how these two compete against each other in performance and uh.

Let's do our speed test. First, we make sure there is no app running in the background, and then we start our speed test with an internet download speed test, so the application opened quite a bit faster on the 10t pro. Now, let's go and start our download speed test, so we get 155 for the download speed on the 20 pro and for the upload we get 140 megabits. Now we go and test it on the 8t on OnePlus we get 196 megabits for the download and the upload speed would be 166 megabits. So the download, speed and upload speed was a bit faster on the OnePlus 8t.

Now, let's go and open some application. We start with Netflix. It was a bit faster on the OnePlus Instagram. Very similar performance now YouTube, I would say: OnePlus was slightly faster but still very close performance. Now we try YouTube music.

I would say it was a bit faster on the 10t pro twitter. It was a bit faster on the 10t pro, let's open Facebook again a bit faster on the 10t pro telegram, I would say faster on the 10t pro, so it seems the 10t pro is leading the test at the moment and for NordVPN as well. It was faster on 10t pro, let's go and open a Spotify, and again it was slightly faster on the 10t pro for WhatsApp, I would say: maybe the OnePlus was a bit faster, but the Amazon app. Furthermore, it was faster on the 10t pro again for AliExpress. As you can see, it is faster on the 10t pro now we open some games, let's open temper run so temper run, was also faster on the 10t pro.

Let's go and open subway server again, the twenty pro finished loading faster. Let's see if this change with, for example, PUBG mobile well, it seems to be actually much faster on the 20 pro. It's quite significant, and it seems the 20 pro is leading in the speed test overall and uh. This hasn't changed yet so, let's go and open traffic rider and yeah here as well. The 20 pro finished faster.

Our last test is Google Chrome, which in this case we will open and try to browse something. The opening was faster on the 8t and, let's open a page and slightly just slightly faster on the 8t. Now I do the ram management test to see how these two perform in running the application. In the background, I will fast-forward this part, but I can tell you they both are not doing as you expect for eight gigabytes of ram, and that is not limited to these two phones and this test specifically for the past couple of my tests. This has been the case, and I'm not surprised anymore.

They both had to relaunch some games and applications. Sometimes the 8t didn't have the app in the background, and sometimes the 10t pro one thing I can confirm, based on few previous tests, that I've done is that it seems android is having some challenges in the ram management it wasn't like that before, but something is going on. If you know anything about this, please share it with me in the comments that would have changed anyhow. These two phones are definitely fast phones. The 10t pro performed better overall and was faster in most cases, but I would prefer the OnePlus 8t only because of the software cleaner, UI and better user experience.

Actually, this 80 is my current daily driver and overall, I'm very happy with this, so that was it for now. I hope you like this video write-in the comments. What you think, if you are here for the first time a subscription would be amazing thanks for watching and until the next one you.
