Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G First Impressions [Wild Rift Gameplay, Price, Specs]

Hey kids, Tito jams here once again taking awesome out of the box. We all know why you're here. Do you know why you're here you're here to see the latest offering from Xiaomi here in the Philippines? You saw in the title: let's talk about it: the Xiaomi mi 20, pro 5g, I'm not even gonna, beat around the bush here. Let's talk about the price first because, as we all know, Xiaomi can get very aggressive when it comes to pricing. The Xiaomi mi 10 t pro has a price tag of 24 990 pesos and with that you're getting a Qualcomm, snapdragon, 865 processors, eight gigabytes of ram 256 gigabytes of non-expandable storage and a display with a refresh rate of 144 hertz. Of course, that's with other things that this phone has to offer, making it worthy of the flagship killer, nickname or maybe something like the ultra killer.

So definitely everything is pretty much on point when it comes to our expectations from Xiaomi. That's some of the best hardware at really aggressive pricing. So, let's take a closer look at the Xiaomi mi 20 pro and by the way, just a reminder. This isn't a review just, yet it's just our first impressions of this device. Let's get into it in terms of build quality and design.

It feels very good and with inbounds of what we expect of most premium phones. You've got gorilla glass, 5 on both the front and back that are sandwiching an aluminum frame. It's got a nice heft to it at 218 grams and sits really well in the hand thanks to curves it has on the back. So despite it being a relatively big phone, it's still easy to handle. Yes, the back has a glossy mirror-like finish to it.

That's really reflective so much so that I had to be very careful about my camera angles, so you guys, wouldn't accidentally, see me in my boxer shorts while shooting this video. I also had to wipe it down so many times to try and make sure that I didn't smudge it up. So yes, if you're one of those people who use their phone without a case, you're so brave, but make sure you also have a microfiber cloth at the ready. If you're planning to buy this phone, it gets super smudgy. Really fast now for a tour of the button and port layout, you've got the speaker, grille USB c port and access the sim tray on the bottom.

So no headphone jack here, but they do include an adapter. If you want to use your favorite pair of wired earphones on the right side, you have the volume, rocker and side mounted fingerprint scanner, slash power button, I'm always a big fan of this, and it does work quickly and is very accurate as well. There's nothing on the left side. So up on top, you have the mic, an IR blaster and an echo chamber since you are getting stereo speakers on the 10 t pro now. The screen is definitely one of the highlights of this phone.

It measures in at 6.67 inches has full HD plus resolution and uses an IPS LCD panel with, as I mentioned at the start of this video, a refresh rate of 144 hertz. Now I do prefer having OLED panels, but honestly, the screen on the mi 10t pro looks pretty good. So if you mainly watch videos on your smartphones, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Unless you really want those really deep blacks, but if you are particular Xiaomi also includes pretty extensive controls to tweak the display to your liking, and they even give you the option of your preferred color gamut as well about the refresh rates. You can also dial it down if you want to from 144hz to 90 and all the way down to 60.

If you want to save on battery life, but according to Xiaomi, it's adaptive so depending on the content it should dial down on its own. We've also talked about how smooth animations can get at higher refresh rates in the past, and I want you guys to see the difference. So I slowed down the footage here, and you can really see the difference between 144 hertz compared to 60, but it is something that you have to experience for yourself to really appreciate the screen on the mi 10 t pro also supports memo or motion estimation motion compensation, and this is something that you typically find on TVs nowadays, like the ones we've been featuring on our YouTube channel. It gives you that soap Xperia effect that I'm not a huge fan of, and unfortunately from what I've been reading, you can't disable it on the me10 t pro, which is a bit of a bummer. Let's just put it that way.

Thankfully, though, all the hardware this phone has under the hood is spectacular, headed by the snapdragon 865 processors, that's great to have at this price point with a good amount of ram and storage. Though again it's not expandable, but 256. Gigs is a lot of room to play with, as expected, everything I've thrown at this phone so far was handled without any issues and to give you guys a peek of its performance. Let's take a look at some League of Legends wild rift, all right guys, so we're going to be trying out some League of Legends wild rift on the Xiaomi mi 20 pro 5g, and since we do have the snapdragon 865 processors on this device, it should have no trouble running this game. But here are the settings that I've used.

We are on the ultra-high definition preset, so everything is maxed out, and we do have 60 fps turned on, as you can see right there, and now we're going to be jumping into a game. You'll probably join me somewhere in the middle of a match, so you can see what the performance is really like. So lets bad go so definitely no issues here and as far as I could tell, we were constantly at around 60 fps. We haven't been able to measure the metrics yet, but all in all, a very good experience. So far.

Moving on to the cameras of the 10 t pro, you have a 20 megapixel front camera at an aperture of f 2.2. That's also capable of shooting videos at 1080p 30fps for the cameras on the back. You've got a 108 megapixel main shooter at an aperture of f 1.7. You've got a 13, megapixel ultrawide and, lastly, a 5 megapixel macro camera. The main camera can also shoot videos up to 8k 30fps, but limits it to 6 minutes, so it doesn't overheat.

We have to test it out further. So, for now here are some sample photos. Lastly, powering the device is a 5 000 William hour battery, that should last at least a day or maybe two, depending on the refresh rate you choose and your usage, but to top it up, it supports 33 watt, fast charging and the charging brick does come inside the box. I just had to say that, because Xiaomi already took a dig at apple on their social media posts, now I wasn't able to do an unboxing for the Xiaomi mi 10t pro, since, when the unit arrived with us, it wasn't sealed so to be safe. We disinfected everything first, but here's everything that comes inside the box.

You've got the documentation of course, important stuff. A sim ejector tool. You've got a not so subtle, Xiaomi branded jelly case and the USB cable to go along with the charging brick that you already saw, plus the 3.5 millimeter adapter again the price for the Xiaomi mi 10 t pro 5g is 24 990 pesos. There are links down below or up above, depending on where you're watching this to their flagship store on Lazada plus links to the non-pro version of this phone as well, and if you're convinced that you want to get it make sure you check out because they do run out of stocks very quickly so yeah do it now, click up down wherever go, and with that. Thank you so much for dropping by and spending a few minutes with me.
