WHO LASTS LONGER? iPhone XS / XS Max VS Galaxy Note 9 / S9+ - Battery Drain Test!

So here we have it, everyone I've been wanting to do this video for a little while now, so I have the top flagship smartphones of the moment. Right now, I have the two Samsung flagship right here: I have the Samsung Galaxy S, nine plus, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on this side, and then here I have the Apple iPhone Tennis Max and the Apple iPhone 10s. So in this video we're going to be doing a battery drain test, we're going to be testing these four phones, putting them against each other to see which one. Lastly, let's get right into it: okay, so before we begin the video, let's go over the specs on these phones very quickly, so let's start off with the Apple iPhone 10 s, so the Apple iPhone 10s has a 5.8 inch touchscreen, and it has a 20 658 mAh battery, the iPhone tennis max has a 6.5 inch touchscreen, and it has a 31 74, my lithium-ion battery. So moving on to the s9 +, the s9 + has a 6.2 inch touchscreen, and it has a 3500 mAh lithium-ion battery. So the phone here with the biggest battery is the Samsung Galaxy.

Note 9. It has a six point, four inch touchscreen, so just a little smaller than the iPhone 10s max. But this note 9 has a 4000 mAh lithium-ion battery. So this should be a pretty interesting test. I remember last year the note 8 did win.

So do you think the know tonight is going to win it this year again stick around and find out alright, so check it out guys. Here we have the iPhone 10s. Here we have the iPhone tennis max. We have the note 9. Here we have the Samsung Galaxy S, 9 plus alright.

So let's go ahead and power. All the devices on they've all been charged to a hundred percent. So, as you can see, it is that a hundred percent we're going to leave the brightness up on all the phones, 100% brightness up there on airplane mode and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. All right. Let's make sure that note.

Nine is all the way up as well once again yep there you go. We also have Bluetooth on and location services on all four devices and the volume is all the way up on each. So when we play music, these speakers will have to work their hardest on all the devices. So what we're going to do is we're going to be opening up a couple: different apps we're gonna, run and stream music on YouTube music videos for about two hours on each phone. Then we're going to go ahead and play a movie on Netflix that should be about another two hours, then we'll run asphalt, nine for about another two hours, and then we're going to stream, some more music on Pandora for like another two hours and if there's still, if they still have any battery after that, we'll shoot some 4k videos on each device all right.

So here I have the timer. Let's go ahead and start it and let's go ahead and get started. Let's open each of these up and let's go ahead and play the same playlist on each one. So this one all right, so it's been almost two hours now, as you can see here. This is one hour 54 minutes and 12 seconds, so let's go ahead and check and see how they are all doing so.

This one is at 88. I do not know why the brightness went down on them. It seems like that it went down by itself so 88% the iPhone 10s put the brightness up again, 87% defense max the note nine is at 84% and the s9 + is at 66%, so Wow looks like they're in order the iPhone 10s is winning so far, so let's double-check that they'll have the brightness up. Yes, they do alright. So let's go ahead and move on to the next app.

So now we're going to do Netflix and let's go ahead and play a long movie one hour, 45 minutes. So let's go ahead and leave them playing for about another two hours or an hour and fifty minutes, which is what they take we'll be back when this is at about four hours, all right. So it's Bob and the movies just finished anything just a few minutes ago. So let's go ahead on to the next one. So, let's see how each of them are doing, the iPhone 10s is at 53% the iPhone tennis max 57%, the note 9 60% and the Samsung Galaxy S 9, plus 42 percent.

So the note night is the winner up to now, and they go in this order. Then the iPhone finish max. Then the tennis then dsm-4 right. So let's go ahead and continue since we're not done just yet so next up we're going to open, is asphalt, 9, and we're just going to leave it playing there. I would say for about another love all right.

So, let's see what's going on here. So it's about five hours now and almost 30 minutes five hours of 26 minutes and go ahead and check them all out and see how they do so. The iPhone tennis has 14% tennis max has a 20%. The note is that 47% super high stuff and the Samsung Galaxy S nine plus, is at 3%. Oh, this one needs a little more brightness, so yeah it looks like they are just hanging in there.

These two with the note 90 this one, the s9 +, is about to completely die out. All right, so, let's keep them going to see how long they last so next up we're gonna, open up, Pandora and just stream, some music, all right so yeah it's about five hours and 38 minutes, and these Hansen Galaxy S, nine plus, is out. So let's go ahead and continue. So the note 9s at 43, the XS max, is at 17 and the 10s is at 9 percent. So let's keep it going and see how long they last all right.

So it's about six hours now, seven minutes I just came in again to give him a quick check and I believe that the iPhone 10 just recently turned off. Yes, it is the battery is dead, so I would say the iPhone 10 s lasted only about six hours and maybe for the five minutes, I would say, or maybe six hours. Let's see how these two are doing. So the note 9 37%, pretty cool there and the 10 s max only 8% left so house. We can already tell we're already going to see that denote.9 is gonna, be the winner, but let's keep this going and see how long it's gonna! Last alright, so I stopped if it's at 6 hours and 30 minutes and now, as we can see, the iPhone tennis max is that 1% less you know, 9 still has 30% battery life left a huge difference. So, as we can already tell you already know who the obvious winner is the Samsung Galaxy note 9.

Alright, let's keep it going, though, and see how long the note 9 actually lasts before it gets all the way down to 0 all right, so the iPhone penis fax is completely so only the no family. So since it's been playing Pandora now for a good while we're going to change it up now we're going to open up the camera. Let's go ahead and make sure that the setting is on 4k, okay yeah. So let's put a camera setting video size so yep the highest quality is selected, be good. So let's go ahead and just record a video.

Now this definitely heats up the battery pretty quickly as well. So it's at 29% right now: let's go ahead and go ahead and right forward all right, so we're at 7 hours and 28 minutes and the note 9 is at 4% from recording video at 4k quality, the camera overheats- and it gives me this message every couple of minutes. So I have to wait until it cools down to be able to record him for Kagan, but yeah. So I've been doing this on and off for a little while now, but we're at 4%. Now it's not letting me open the camera yet, so I'm just going to go ahead, and I just open up some more YouTube in the meanwhile.

Let's go ahead and put that brightness up as well, since it did go a below 5% battery, the brightness automatically dropped alright. So the note 9 just turned off right now: I'm going to stop it like 30 seconds ago, the no.9 just turned off, so that's 7 hours and 37 minutes 1409. It's still feeling hot. If I ran the torque camera a couple more times so that I can finally die off so there we have the results. The note 91.

First then, the iPhone Tennis Max and the iPhone 10s and these Samsung Galaxy s 9 plus died first. So here we have the winner, Samsung Galaxy, Note, 9, alright, everyone! So here we have your winner and undisputed champion. The Samsung Galaxy note 9 just like last year that the node 8 won the note.9 won this year again, where there's 4000 my lithium-ion battery. It has a much bigger battery than the rest of the phones, and it distributes the energy in the phone correctly so that it lasts longer. So this is definitely an excellent phone in all aspects.

So that is it for this video. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it, go ahead and give it a like. It helps us out, and I'll, see you in the next video and as always, peace, child.
