Poco F3 vs Poco X3 GT! 9 Upgrades & Downgrades You Need to Know Before Buying + Camera Comparison!

What is up guys welcome back to the channel. This is Dr Hamas tank, and today we got the two best Poco phones here in the house here in Malaysia to be excited because the f3 gt has not yet released over here, but in the first corner on my right we have the Poco x3 gt. This is the best from Poco in the x3 series lineup and in the other corner over here we have one of my favorite phones in 2021. This is the Poco f3 in today's video. We're going to do a little different over here. I'm just going to go through the major key differences between both of these two phones.

So yes I'll be just kind of skipping through some similarities between both of these two phones and also to help you to decide which phone to get so yes without further ado, let's just get right into it. So we're going to start off with the prices over here on both of these two phones and do note that both of these two phones do have their sales every month. So here with the x3 gt, the base model would sell for 1299 ringgits and if you don't get the highest spec model, it goes for 15.99 ringgit in Malaysia, of course, I'll be putting the USD prices as well during the sales this one, you can get it for 11.99 for the base model and if you get the highest spec model, it goes for 13.99. Next up is the Poco f3, and if you want to get the base model, it starts off at 13.99 ringgit and, of course, if you want to get the highest spec model, it goes for 16.99 during sales. Of course, it goes down to 12.99 for the base model and if you get the highest spec model, it goes for 14.99, ringgit, Malaysia. So now we're going to talk about the build and design on both of these two phones, starting here with the Poco f3.

It does have a glass on the back and on the front it is a gorilla glass 5 only, but it is really, really good and over here it does come with the arctic white edition over in the other corner over here with the x3 gt. It starts off with a plastic bag over here, but on the front you do have a corning gorilla, glass, vectors, the latest and greatest from gorilla glass in terms of the durability in terms of the function wise, I think over here in terms of the front display this one is definitely better, but I got to say in terms of the backup here in this video you'll notice, that on the back, you will get a lot of fingerprint smudges you're not going to get here with the Poco f3 that much in terms of the camera layout. As you can see, they are quite different from each other, but I have to say with the x3 gt. You do get a little more of dust surrounding over here in terms of the size and weight to it. To be honest, there isn't much of a difference, but over here on the Poco x3 gt, it definitely does have a bigger battery over here 5 000 Williams of battery compared to the 45 20 you're going to find with the Poco f3.

That is not the only thing that is different, and now let's talk about that charging. So here with the Poco f3, you do get a 33 watt, brick charger over here. So it's able to charge up your phone from zero all the way to 100 in 52 minutes as advertised, but over here with the x3 gt, you get a double wattage charge over here, 67 watts, so it's able to charge up from zero all the way to 100 in just over half an hour at about 42 minutes as advertised. But if we talk about the battery performance on both of these two phones, to be honest, they are very, very similar. But I got to say that on the Poco f3 I do get a little more juice compared to the Poco x3 gt.

But to be honest, they are both very, very similar in this department. So next thing here I'll talk about is the display on both of these two phones and in terms of the size, the Poco f3 is actually bigger compared to the x3 GTC, the Poco f3 does come with a 6.67 inch AMOLED display, whereas on the x3 gt it does come with a 6.6 inch IPS LCD panel in terms of just the color, the contrast, all your deep blacks, definitely over here with the e4 AMOLED display. It looks so much better compared to the x3 gt over here in terms of just the brightness as well. I do like it here on the Poco f3, because these are just my toss. Do let me know in the comments down below which do you guys think is better in terms of the display in terms of the color scheme or the color calibration.

I do feel that with the Poco f3, you do get more of the colder hue over here with the x3 gt, you get off the warmer tones with the display. In terms of the speakers, I do understand that both of them do have a stereo speaker setup, but they do sound quite different. Let me show you over here. For me, to be honest, the Poco x3 gt does sound a little more washed out compared to the Poco f3 I'll talk about here is the internal hardware on both of these two phones over here on the Poco x3 gt is using the media tech time city 1100, whereas over here on the Poco f3, it uses the snapdragon 870 in terms of just raw performance. Both for them are very, very similar and, of course, I've done a separate comparison.

Video, so you guys can check it out in my channel and also have done a gaming test on both of these two phones individually as well. So you guys can check that out as well. The similarities within both of these two phones is that they do have your UFS 3.1 storage, but over here with the base storage, you can get it at eight gigs of ram and 128 gigs of storage, whereas over here on the Poco f3, it starts off with a 6 gigs ram version, with 128 gigs of storage and, of course, in terms of the high spec model, both for them to come with 8 gigs ram and 256 gigs of storage. In terms of the connection settings, the only difference between both of these two phones is the fact that the Poco x3 gt can support up to Bluetooth 5.2, whereas on the Poco f3 it does only support Bluetooth 5.1. So, lastly, over here, let's talk about those cameras so starting off here with these selfie cameras, the Poco x3 gt does come with a 16, megapixel, f 2.5 white camera, whereas on the Poco f3 it does come with a 20, megapixel, f, 2.5 white camera as well. Both of these two can record up to 1080p at 30fps on the rear camera department.

The Poco f3 does come with a triple camera setup.48 megapixels, f, 1.8 maintenance and 8 megapixels, f, 2.2 ultra-wide and a 5 megapixel, f, 2.4, macro shooter and going on to the Poco x3 gt. It also does have a triple camera setup, but it does have a 64 megapixel, f, 1.8, main lens and 8 megapixels, f, 2.2 ultra line and a 2 megapixel f 2.4 macro shooter, so both phones can record up to 1080p at 30fps when it comes to selfie video, but for the Poco f3 it can go up to 60 fps to give that extra smoothness when you're recording on the front camera. One thing that I do like on both of these two phones is this dual video feature, and I think this is going to be a very helpful feature for you, guys who are into a lot of vlogging. I think this is a very nice feature and I actually do enjoy it a lot. Now, let's go on to the rear camera video over here and at 1080p at 30fps.

Both of them are pretty similar. I do find that on the f3 is a little smoother and in terms of the dynamic range I do prevent on the f3 going next up to the 1080p and 60fps, as you can see here with the f3 for some reason, it's very, very shaky over here as compared to the x3 gt, which looks really much better. Lastly, over here both of these two phones can record up to 4k at 30fps, and I do notice that on the x3gt, it's a little more consistent with the shadows and also the colors as compared to the Poco f3. So now, let's check out some steel shots on both of these two phones and, to be honest, they go back and forth. Pretty often, sometimes the x3 gt does give you better dynamic range and color.

Sometimes the f3 does their job as well. It is pretty inconsistent, but what I do notice is that on the x3 gt, it does give me a warmer kind of hue, whereas on the Poco f3, it's a little more saturated a little more contrast compared to the gt. Sometimes the x2 gt does give you a very good dynamic range when it comes to the shadows. But if you look at the skies at the back, it is a little more blown out compared to the f3 and switching on to the ultra white shots as well. It's very similar, the f3, would look a little more contrast and saturated and in terms of dynamic range, they go back and forth with each other.

So it's very hard to choose a clear winner between these two phones and the last thing over here. I just want to say that the third lens on both of these two phones are really quite useless. So it's more of a dual camera setup over here because, as you can see, with this macro shots, it's really quite bad. Switching it up to some night mode shots over here again. It goes back and forth between both of these two phones, but I do notice that the x3 gt would give me more consistent and more detailed sharper images compared to the Poco f3, which looks a little more blown out and a little more washed out compared to the gt.

But that being said, the Poco f3 sometimes does a better job when it comes to brightening up those dark shadows, and when we go to some ultra white night mode shots the x3 gt would give you more consistent, sharper images, whereas on the f3 it does give you brighter, but more washed out photos. So that is it between the Poco f3 and the Poco x3 gt. And, of course the ultimate question is which one to get for me. Personally, I would go for the Poco f3 over here, because this one just here makes a little more sense compared to the Poco x3 gt. If you're willing to spend this amount of price, I think you got just to top up a little more to get the Poco f3 over here.

It does offer you an e4 AMOLED display, which is really much better compared to the x3 gt and, of course you do get a more solid build on the front and on the back for me, which of course is a good thing and of course, if you talk about the display size, this is just slightly bigger compared to the gt, because these are just my thoughts and my opinion do leave yours in the comment section down below.
