Who is the lg velvet 5g smartphone for?

So, who is the lg velvet four lg, listed some pretty interesting info in their playbook, stating that the GNV lines were going away. So what does it mean? Let's talk about it if you're looking for tech reviews that give you the information you actually care about, then hit that subscribe button and be sure to turn on notification bell. So you don't miss a thing with the release of the velvet. Lg seems to be making some pretty big changes, whether those changes mean total redesigns or rebranding just to keep it fresh. We're going to have to keep our eyes open and see what's going on. What we do know is that lg is trying something new with this phone.

So who is this phone for to answer those questions? We need to know what people care about most when using a smartphone. Now this little list is in no particular order. First, you've got price second phone speed, third, camera quality, fourth storage and fifth battery life. Did I miss anything, please be sure to leave a comment down below? So, let's start answering these questions, so this phone is going to be retailing for 599 bucks. At this price point, it's considered a mid-tier smartphone.

Now let me stop there for a second. We do need to have a little of a talk. I understand many of you out. There hear 599 bucks for a mid-tier, smartphone and think I have to be completely honest. I had to stop for a second myself and think gee 600 to 800 bucks is considered a mid-tier yep.

It is these days, I'm sorry, but what do you get for a 599 dollar mid-tier smartphone? What runs this phone pretty much like the phone itself isn't top tier, but that doesn't mean that it's slow or old, the snapdragon 765 g was released this year.2020 and the purpose of the CPU was to be able to deliver a quality processor for a lower price. Lg is just trying to do the same thing get the most power out of the CPU, so you have a good experience for a lower price. So when you use the fingerprint scanner to get into your phone, it will happen quickly. When you want to open your camera, it will happen quickly. Hopefully, the same goes for all apps.

Nothing is more annoying than a phone thinking about wanting to open an app when you need to use it most. Listen. All phones are susceptible to this, but when it starts happening more and more, you get annoyed by the way. If you do want to know the full specs of this phone I'll leave a link in the description, the cameras on smartphones have become so important. These days, people base an entire purchase off of how good the specs are on a phone.

Well, it's also important to see what people are experiencing with using those great specs before you actually decide to spend your money. The lg velvet again offers a great camera, but not as good as say the v60, which is to be expected, but that doesn't mean that you're even able to tell the difference between the two and, let's be honest, nine times out of ten people just take pictures and share them with their friends and family online. So for that most phones will do a good enough job, but for a phone like the velvet, I think you're going to get some pretty great pictures. As a matter of fact, I am sharing some of those results on Instagram. If you want to follow me there at tech examined, and I'll leave a link in the description, so you can go over there along with the photos.

The phone can also shoot up to 4k, which is finally becoming a standard on many smartphones, even budget ones. However, we have to go back to the phone's ability to process what you shot. So what we've seen on the velvet so far looks good, but of course I want to test it out some more. In fact, I will be doing some full head-to-head comparisons soon, with this phone so be sure to hit that subscribe button and turn on notification bells. So you don't miss those videos so with taking all those high-res pictures and 4k video you're going to need some storage.

The velvet does come with 128 gigs of storage, which I think is a good amount to offer. Of course, it also offers expandable storage up to two terabytes, which will allow you to really not worry about space, and, while I'm all for using the internal storage on your phone, some people will use as much storage as possible, but keep in mind the more you fill your phone, the slower it will begin to operate, so don't hesitate to spend some money on storage for the phone if you want some options for micro, SD cards I'll leave a link down in the description for some speedy ones. Now I also want to let you know there is an option to upload your photos and video to the cloud, so it keeps them off your phone altogether. While this is supposed to be secure, as always be careful. The nice thing is, if you lose or break your phone you'll, never lose your photos or video with all these awesome features and powerful cameras, the phone's gotta last today this might be the biggest complaint I hear from people who own smartphones.

I love the phone, but it doesn't. Last the day the velvet has a 4300 William battery, which is charged via USB type-c, the best of the best, the latest and greatest quick charge, 4.0 again, some of the best and wireless charging. So if you somehow run through the battery before the end of the day, you can quickly charge and get back off the cable. However, if you need to stay on the go and can't be stuck waiting, I did do a video of my favorite portable chargers, I'll leave a link in the description for that as well. So now that we've talked about what's important to people when it comes to smartphones, who is this phone for? Well, people are willing to pay a little more for their phone because they want things like a better camera, better battery and better overall experience, while using the phone.

But there's always a, but I'm not saying that a budget phone isn't a good phone, but the longer you use it you'll begin to see why you paid what you paid. Is it right? Well, as a consumer? I don't think so, but when I purchase something, I spend a lot of time looking at budget better and best prices when I buy budget, I hope I get something better. When I spend better money, I expect to get the best. If I spend more and don't get what I paid, I should have a better customer experience in getting my issues resolved. This, unfortunately, is where the lines tend to get blurred with technology based items.

Greedy companies want to make that 70 to 80 profit, and we get left hold in the bag. This is why you shouldn't just listen to one person when spending what might be a lot of money to you be sure to do your research now. What I mentioned in this video seem to be the most popular things. People are looking for in smartphones, but there's always more did I miss anything. You think is important when buying a smartphone.

Please be sure to leave a comment down below, and I will do my best to answer it now I'll be putting this phone through its paces, going against the v60, the g8x, the 11 pro max, and I will be sharing it all with you now, while I'm working on these videos, please feel free to check out my first impressions of the lg velvet right here and, of course, don't forget to hit that subscribe button. You guys take it easy and have a great day.
