Verizon Wireless VS Visible (Speed Test)

Hey guys this is mike from tech reviews here, and today we're going to take a quick video on uh, visible uh wireless versus Verizon wireless, so visible actually is a into of Verizon. Basically, it's basically a prepaid version uh that piggybacks off Verizon's network. So before these uh go blank. Let me go ahead and show you guys really quick what I'm talking about. So this is visible, see if I can get that to focus there tap to focus, hopefully so again that one says visible, and this is the Pixel 4a, which is an uh. It's a 4g phone um.

So I'm testing that out here uh this phone, specifically, which again you'll see that it's on Verizon's network there is the TCL. Let's see if I can get that to focus TCL um 10, 5g UW, which stands for ultra-wideband, and this phone is actually running on various like Verizon's main Verizon service. I guess right, so I just wanted to kind of uh. You know, do a speed test on both of them, since they are again technically running on Verizon's network and see which one has the better speed test. So this is my first time doing this.

They both connections are on multi. I do have them on the same server and again Verizon wireless is here and visible. Is here, so, let's get going on three two one ping was about the same. That's interesting, very interesting, actually, sorry for the autofocus issues there, but right now it looks like visible, has a 45.5, download, speed and visible, or I'm sorry, visible, has 45.5 download, speed and Verizon, which again this is a 5g phone, and it's technically connected to five, the Verizon's nationwide 5g right now, it's uh speed test is at um. Well, I can't believe that, let's see if I can get that to zoom in here, just a little here go sorry about that.

So you can see their Verizon 5g nationwide.5G is 15, download, meg, 8, upload and again visible is um 45 and 10. Again, that's LTE versus 5g. Let's go ahead and change the server and again this is not like a scientific test that I'm doing or anything. I just really wanted to see uh, which phone did better as far as the service goes, um. Obviously they're both on Verizon's network, so I really don't know.

What's going on there, I'm to go ahead and change the server to smart comm, which is a little closer in my city, and then we'll go ahead and do retake the test again. Neither of these devices are on Wi-Fi and again location accuracy is on over here, uh hold on. Let's see there is a system update over here on this phone, so I don't know, maybe that might be affecting the antenna bands or something like that- that's going on here, but let's do it one more time: okay, again, I'm seeing a little of a better uh boost over here on uh visible network, which again it's Verizon's network, I'm not 100 sure what's going on there, but at the end of the day, like obviously the tests are there for a reason, and again, I'm not trying to knock on Verizon's network at all. Uh Verizon does have a solid network. You know it's not my main network uh.

So again, I do want to give TCL a big shout out for sending this device out uh again just because they did hook me up with this device so that I can test out for a couple of months under their network, and I'm hoping that the network gets better. I'm hoping that the update actually uh fixes that, but again, I'm really not sure why you guys can see the test scores there, I'm going to change the servers one more time. Let's do VAX, and we'll do VAX, hopefully McAllen also, okay, all right! So again. I live in area code, 956 or zip code 78504. If you guys want to get more in depth on my location over here and again, let's do these tests on three two one, and you know I did post uh some results on see that's kind of more.

Even now I did post some of my results on Verizon speed test on YouTube and I actually got a response off Verizon on Twitter, saying that kind of giving more information on like why um. You know why Verizon's 5g nation night, what nationwide network piggybacks off LTE the LTE networks, but again like, I don't know- maybe it's the phone itself, maybe the Benz or whatever, are just not as good on Verizon's uh or specifically this phone again, I'm not 100 sure, I'm not sure. What's going on there. But again you can see here that visible has a resting speed of 40.4, which has been pretty consistent, right and uh, download intent, upload and then Verizon, which kind of went up on this one 19, download and seven uploads. So again guys these speed tests are very indicative on your location and- and you know exactly where you're, where you are whether you're in you know me, I'm in south Texas, you can be in California, apparently there's only one there's only two locations, uh that have ultra-wide band in uh Texas, which is Houston and then the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

So I'm not going to get that where I live. Unfortunately, I do just have Verizon's 5g nationwide, but it kind of begs it kind of raises the question you know: why are they? Why are they promoting this as 5g right when you're getting less than like 20 meg download speed? That's like that's. I don't know how to explain that, but I don't. I don't want to say that's good, but you know a lot of people will disagree with me and say that okay, you know, Verizon's 5g is better than T-Mobile networks.5G et cetera like that, but at the end of the day the tests don't lie over here. You know what I mean again: uh 19 download 7 uploads on Verizon's network under with the Verizon sim.

You know this one has a visible sim card in it. Furthermore, you know that just doesn't make any sense to me again, because if they're both piggybacking off Verizon's network shouldn't this phone or shouldn't this uh get still get the same results as this phone or at least close to it. Furthermore, you know what I mean so again, I don't know guys. This is just an uh. You know this is just a speed test and uh.

You know I'm not one to gripe, and you know again, this really isn't to bash Verizon wireless or anything like that. But again it could be something wrong with my device or again maybe it's that update that I need to throw out, but again guys.
