Using Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 on Metro March 2021 By I Quit Facebook "Joe Wojcicki"
Hi guys this is Joe with cell phone news 5g. Today, I'm reviewing a Kyocera workforce pro 2 and that's a badass case on there um. I love rugged phones. This is an ATM t phone. You used to be able to just take ATT phones and go ahead and use them on uh cricket, but cricket actually suspended my account for putting my sim card in here. That's a little over the top.
Don't you think they went? I couldn't even just take the sim and put it back into a cricket phone. I had to call them. They had disconnected my line because I tried to put my sim into an ATT phone, which is absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe they're doing that now, so the reason that they would not activate this phone is because they have deactivated their 3g network, which is what their voice was traveling over, and they did that because it's basically a privacy thing they're taking away your privacy um, and now I notice when I'm using cricket's LTE network, I get a lot of these circuits are busy. It really sounds a lot more like analog than it does LTE cricket network and t network um.
So metro would still allow me to activate this. So I ported one line over to metro got an awesome, uh one plus m10 for doing that for 50 bucks, but I still love this phone. It's just got a good feel and build to it. It's tough. Furthermore, it can be out in the rain, take a beating um.
However, you know I tried the metro 5g network, and it wasn't any faster than 5g. It's still insanely slow and uh. So I'm I'm gonna use this phone that I like on metro and three of my lines to be on cricket from now on, um, there's a lot of videos on YouTube about the kaiser workforce pro uh being rugged and people taking it underwater uh. The good news is: if you have one, don't I'm not sure if fade TNT, will let you activate it uh you can go through T-Mobile unlock it put it on the T-Mobile network. Let's fire up some sound on here.
It's got some pretty cool uh camera options. Its reputation is not the greatest for cameras, but I'm gonna fire up some music on here. Let you know how these speakers sound. This is uh Wolfgang Van Halen's tribute to his dad very touching. I grew up in the 90s love in highland uh, used to listen to Van Halen, all the time eating buffalo wings just good times.
Let's try to skip to it, skip to the music. I don't want to get a copyright violation. When you take live music, it usually doesn't do that because the algorithm can't recognize live music. Oh, wait! I'm sorry! This is not the trivia good side. This is donen't back down.
Oh, no! It is my bad. So anyway, it's nice and loud, let's go back. This is what I'm talking about perfect tune. Anyhow, great sound on these speakers and you can get a dirt first, pro probably cheaper. Now, since ATT is kind of screwing things up by, you know getting rid of their 3g, apparently oh by the way uh I'm on metro.
This is saying I got a LTE connection. Yeah, it supposedly doesn't have Lt metro or somebody's line. Let's open up the camera uh, it's helping the music keep playing fast shutter. That is a huge plus, don't need that flash on all in all. This is a cool phone and definitely worthy of being on metro um.
Sadly, cricket won't. Let you use this anymore. I think cricket really wants you to buy their circuit. Only phones, you know which is okay, they're, not great um. They do have some good 5g phones on cricket.
