UNBOXING THE LIMITED EDITION BLACKBERRY KEYONE! By Auto Technica

Hello everybody and welcome back to the channel. Thank you so much for joining me today on another video and today, I have finally decided to join the dark side. So this is my first ever blackberry. This is a blackberry key one. It's the limited edition black version and I finally got my first blackberry I, always thought I. Would you know, get a blackberry, maybe buy one used or something never really found the one I wanted, and I just decided that blackberries dying anyway.

There's no point in going into a blackberry, but blackberry has come back from the dead, and they've tried a couple of times before to prove in the passport. But this is the first film that I've consistently heard good things about, and this is called the key one, and it's powered by a 625 Snapdragon, and it has very decent specs and the main thing about this phone is that it has a physical keyboard and believe it or not. I have never had a phone that has a physical keyboard like not a full physical keyboard. I've, had you know t9 keyboards, but a full physical keyboard is something I never had in a phone, and this is the first one. Furthermore, I'll ever have, and it'll be a blackberry which is kind of it's a very cool thing, so I'm going to get right to showing off the box so down.

Here we have the IMEI information. Then we have the front which has this kind of embossed silver and kind of black theme going on here. It's the limited edition black. The only difference is that on the top I believe it's black instead of silver. Most models that come on in the other parts of the world have silver tops.

This is just black, and it has a little of a speck bump. As far as I know, the side has black very same kind of black, listen and box, it's kind of more imprinted and there we go. The back has the specs in the IMEI again, and I'm. Just going to go right to it. Alright, so there's these two little stickers on the top that we have to get rid of all right.

So there we go one. So this is a little trickier there we go ? now, I believe it'll just slide out there we go so putting this to the side. We have a block so again blackberry key one, that camera is picking up a list there we go, so it has , q1 and print it onto it again same information down here from the box and I think that we can just cut this top part to get into the box, lift off and all right kind of stuck to it. Okay, so here it is here being the phone front and center pull it out Wow. This phone is very different.

It's nothing like I've ever held before it's very it's pretty heavy. It's chunky, and I'll get I'll get to this in a second. So, let's see what else is in here nothing much very much the standard kind of packaging you get nowadays and smartphones tag here to pull this out, see probably just documentation SIM card into this in a second alright. So we have the fast charger box. Charger is included in the box with this, and I'll get a dinky little pair of earphones.

I, really don't think there will be any good. This seemed like your standard earphones. You know in your installed earphones. They have this nice little design finish it's a metallic, the BlackBerry logo. Then we have USB type-c charger and that's it for the box.

You just put all this to the side, so here's the phone, so first impressions is the keyboard feels nice. It feels very tactile, I'm liking. If I'm sure that I'm going to have fun typing on it. So we have some stickers here that guide you through the sim ejection and okay. So you can have either two SIM cards or a SIM card and a micro SD card.

That sounds like a very good way to you know how business users get what they need. Some people might need extendable storage. Some people might need to deal send if they're traveling between countries. The interesting thing about this phone is that the space bar acts as the fingerprint reader, and I've never seen that kind of implementation. Before this is the usual position where most phones do put in their fingerprint reader.

But this is the first time I've seen it integrate it into a keyboard like this, and it's kind of cool and this entire area acts as a trackpad. You can scroll swipe as far as I've seen from videos, so they have a bunch of stickers and stuff on this. It feels very premium. I'm not going to lie the phone. It feels like it's a very solid metallic phone that it feels like the older days.

To be honest, the phone is it's there. It's bulky, it's like a brick and that, for some reason in my mind, gives me confidence about the phones, build quality, not sure what the actual build quality is like I won't know until I test it a little more, but this is very impressive, so going over the physical overview of this phone here on the side we have, which I believe is the power button, which is a little of a weird place to put in the power button, because generally I'm going to write on most phones right around the thumb area right here, but then on this phone, it's a little towards the top-left. Instead of sorry, the top left, instead of the top the right you know somewhere in the middle, the right but I, think it's something that I would get used too quickly. It's not a big deal and anyways with the fingerprint scanner. It's no big deal because anyways I'll just use the fingerprint scanner to the phone on just turning it off would be that over here we have a volume, button and I believe this is a dedicated button for any shortcut.

You set figure out this card slot over here camera the old flash, your basic blackberry layout. It looks very similar to the blackberry Driven passport, but what I've heard is that it is quite different from those phones, and it performs very differently at home. So please do look out for my full review on this phone I will be doing a little of a different style of a review, not the same kind of stuff.
