Please subscribe to my channel~~~ Recently is Apple’s Back to School 2021, I chose to buy a new iPad during this discount period. My first iPad was iPad 4, which came out in 2012. If you have seen my Vlog before, you should know that the iPad 4 has been traded in by me in 2020.

So this time I bought my second iPad. I chose the 11-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation). First of all, the reason for not choosing Air is because Pro is equipped with M1 chip, so I want to try it. Secondly, I didn't choose 12.9 inches because it was too big, similar to my 13-inch Macbook Pro. And the only difference between 12.9-inch and 11-inch is the higher resolution and brightness of the display. If you are not a drawing enthusiast or video worker who has special professional requirements for large screens, 11 inches wins in portability.

In terms of capacity, I chose the smallest 128GB. If you don’t need to store a lot of photos or videos, I recommend that you choose between 128GB and 256GB. The weight is quite light, only 1.03 pounds (466 grams).12.9 inches is 1.5 pounds (682 grams). In addition to the student discount this time, I still have the previous trade-in discount, so the price of the iPad Pro is $689. This time the iPad Pro has a total of 4 speaker audio, and the sound is super loud! I feel that watching a movie will look good afterwards.

The smart connector is on the back, and I will consider buying a magnetic stand later. What do you usually do with these stickers? 😂 Fortunately, my credit card rewards can be exchanged for an Apple Pencil for free this time, so I have both a free Apple Pencil and AirPods. Becasue I had experienced hearing loss by wearing headphones for too long, I did not choose to buy an AirPods because I rarely use earphones before. This time I chose ELECOM Pencil-Feel Screen Protector, this is a smooth version, which will reduce pen tip. There is also a rough version, which will be more paper-like to write, and it will also increase pen tip. They also have a removable version, but the clarity is not as high as the first two. The ELECOM Screen Protector has a slightly matte quality. But I want to make a complaint, their Screen Protector is really difficult to attach.

I did not choose Apple's Case Cover, because their protective cover does not protect the corners. I also did not buy Magic Keyboard or Smart Keyboard Folio. I don't recommend Magic Keyboard, it is really difficult to open and close with one hand. Smart Keyboard Folio do not have click sound. I would recommend the mechanical keyboard.

The one I bought can fully protect the iPad. But it has a disadvantage, if I add a case cover to my apple pencil, I can't put it in the built-in pencil holder because it won't close.
