Unboxing: Apple iPad 8th Generation (32GB Wi-Fi Space Gray)

Well g'day folks, I'm in the kitchen today of the dorms, because the room I normally stay in is dealing with a chirping smoke detector, and so I don't want to make you guys suffer through a chirping smoke detector for this video, so we're just going to jump right into it here with this wonderful thing. Yes, I bought the new iPad, specifically the 10.2-inch iPad. It just was a decently compelling value. I suppose- and I wanted an iPad, so I bought one brand new. This is a 32 gig, Wi-Fi only space, gray, 10.2-inch iPad, 8th generation, and this is going to just be a quick unboxing video, nothing crazy. Just to show that hey, I got the new one, so, let's jump into it.

I'm actually glad that I jumped on this thing when I did, because this is actually still including the USB to lightning cable and the USB power adapter. Now I don't know if, with the new release of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, if that's going to affect the iPads, if they don't actually come with a power adapter, I'm not entirely sure but uh either way. It's just something to notice, but you can see copyright 2020 apple incorporated, so we're going to use the orthodox method of unboxing with some scissors. I'm going to do this with obviously more than one hand. If I get a big enough seam, I can just rip off the rest of this plastic.

I might just be big enough hope. Oh yeah, not very often I unbox a new product, much less an apple one, so cherish this. While I can all right, I had to do a little of assistance but see if I can get this box to come free with UNO hand, because in apple's boxes fashions they all are nice and tight when brand new. So I might have to play with this a little there we go. So there is our iPad.

I want to take a look at the space gray because they always seem to change it. Yeah, that's a really dark space, gray yeah! I like that. It's a nice color! Of course, we all know space gray. So I'm going to set this off to the side, we'll just take a quick peep inside. We all know.

What's inside iPads these days, so, as you can see, mine still has the USB power, adapter, 20 watts and an USB c2, lightning, cable and inside here is just your typical paperwork that usually comes with iPads, and you can see that they're a little crinkled. That's interesting, uh! Nothing really bugs me, because it's just paperwork, and we still have two apple stickers. So that is wonderful. Now we go ahead and take the plastic off of this and turn it on, which means I'm going to have to go switch rooms because you know. Obviously I can't do it in here, but you know it's whatever that that was a fail just like that and peel off the bottom.

Now at this section, if there's any chirping, I apologize, um smoke, detector is dying, and I'm waiting to get that replaced. So we're just going to have to deal with any chirping that comes out of that stupid thing up there on the ceiling, which of course, is not going to do it. When I there we go anyways, god that's space gray. That is a really, really dark space gray! That's impressive! Okay! Let's go and turn this thing on, of course, since this is the space gray iPad, it has the black boot screen very classic apple and if it had the silver gold finish, the boot screen would be white to correspond with the white bezel all right, and we're starting out with 85 percent. That is not bad and there's the iPadOS 14 setup love the little animations all right.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and get this set up, because obviously that's kind of important, but we all know the iPad setup routine. It's pretty familiar. If you're not familiar with iPadOS 14 setup, then you can look it up online, but otherwise that'll be it for this unboxing. So appreciate you all coming to watch. If you liked what you saw- and I know it wasn't- the most impressive unboxing big deal, but if you liked it anyway, of course, you can hit the thumbs up button.

Other button works too. If you didn't like it so much and don't forget to subscribe. If you want to see more content and click the bell, so you can get notified when I upload new content and with that having been said, thank you all very much for watching, and I'll catch you all in the next one. You.
