Unboxing and First Impression of the 2021 Moto G Stylus By SpecTechular Gadgets

What's going on everyone, it's day with spectacular gadgets and in this video we're looking at the 2021 Moto G stylus. Now I was excited to pick this one up after the great experience I had with its predecessor. Let's see if this device is worth my excitement. Let's do this spectacular gadgets, spectacular gadgets, spectacular gadgets first thing that comes to mind is that this is a pretty big device. This is the aurora white color of the device. They also have it in black.

Let's go and check out the 48 megapixel quad camera setup. You also see there is a flash. You have the Motorola logo right here, and this is actually not a fingerprint sensor, like the 2020 version of the g. Stylus looks perfect. It almost looks textured as you see here.

This has a 6.8 inch display and a 16 megapixel selfie camera. Taking a look at the bottom, let's go ahead and check out the new stylus. So with this one you go ahead and push in and then pull it out, unlike the one from last year when there is no push in, but here's a look at the stylus. It actually feels a little bigger, actually is a little taller or a little longer so go ahead and see which way to put this in, so really that notch is supposed to be towards the left. When you go ahead and push it back in, so it does have some kind of prevention, just in case you do put it in wrong.

So we also have a speaker, the type c port and, of course, the headphone jack here at the top is a microphone left side, micro, SD card and sim tray and then towards the right side. Here you have on the side of the device, the fingerprint sensor, just like the z flip, so that's different. This also serves as the power button, so we're going to test that out and then right. On top of that, you have the volume keys, the up and down volume keys. Now, let's go ahead and just take a look at last year's model of the Moto G stylus.

I do have an armadillo tech case on there, which it is protecting the device. So here is the stylus and as you see it is a lot shorter and a lot smaller than the one. I just showed you for this year. Now, let's take a better look at that now that blue is freaking fired. I actually really do love this blue on the Moto G stylus of last year and the fingerprint sensor on the back as you see there.

So that's the difference with the two look at the size difference and like I said that is just a logo. That is not a fingerprint sensor. Now, let's go ahead and put the cameras, so the cameras are pretty much staying, 48 megapixel cameras just a little different in the setup, and that blue looks just like the blue of this phone right here. Oh, I love that boot up animation. Now, quick, look at the sim tray just for you, guys, two-step verification.

Once that's taken care of, I go ahead and pick the backup that I want to restore this device, so I'll go ahead and pick the most current one, and we'll go ahead and have everything that's on that phone onto this one 7.8 gigabytes of the 113 that's left, and then it will go ahead and restore to this device unlock with your fingerprint. So as we know, this has a side located fingerprint sensor, which is right here and actually, when you're holding this big device. That's naturally, where your thumb sits. It's been a few days later, and now I'm showing you the fingerprint sensor and as you see, I barely touched it, and it was able to unlock. So a really quick good fingerprint sensor now pulling out the stylus.

This little pop-up comes up, let's go ahead and take a closer look. This right here is your stylish shortcuts tapping. It gives us a list of things we can do with the stylus. Looking at last year's model, we pull this out. We get the same list, but actually 2021 has one more item than last year's here.

I'm showing the size difference of the two this year is a little thicker and a little longer than last year's take a look at the tips of both of the styluses they are made from the same material. I'd also like to point out that these styluses are not pressure sensitive. The shortcut button can be moved around and placed at different areas of the screen. So let's go ahead and take a look at some of these shortcuts. The first one is a memo, but at the top you have your back button, your undo, your redo, your good to go button and your share button towards the bottom of the screen.

You have all your writing tools, so everything that you need to go ahead and take your note just different colors different sizes of the pen. You can make your own color if you want to, so you have a lot of options here, notice a little of latency. While writing this note. Looking at the clear tool, you have a few options, you can go ahead and use your finger. If you want to use that as an eraser, you can toggle that off.

If you're not interested, then you have different sizes of your eraser that you can use what you see here. So let's say you just want to go ahead and just clear all. You also have that option. So if I press that the whole canvas is gone, but I can undo that to bring it back, the next tool available is the text box. So here go ahead and type in whatever you want once you're good with what you have gone ahead and hit the back button, and then this will go ahead onto your memo.

So you see it right here. I can go ahead and resize this. If I want angle it whatever way I want, you can also change the color and the font of this next, you can go ahead and select a picture or take a picture to put onto this memo. The last option is background, so you can have background color and background patterns to make your notes stand out. So, let's move on to the next.

This is simply just a screenshot. You can go ahead and take that screenshot mark it up if you want and send it to someone moving to the next shortcut. Let's take a look at this now. This is a coloring book, so you have a library of stuff that you can go ahead and color in this area and then projects will be everything that you started working on or completed. So let's go ahead and just take a real, quick look at this.

I color. Well, don't I with this shortcut, you can go ahead and create little gives or short little clips to send to your friends. Let me go ahead and demonstrate this. For you. The last shortcut is keep notes, so you're familiar with that you can go ahead and type your notes in here, and it'll save it with all your other keynotes within the settings of the shortcut button.

You have the option to add three more apps to the list. You also have the ability to organize these shortcuts and the way that you see fit so, let's say, for instance, I want to go ahead and move keep notes to the second app. I can do that so here. This is what happens when the device is unlocked, and you have options to choose from. If you go ahead and press back, you have a few more options.

So this is what happens when the stylus is removed. You can go ahead and select what it is. You want to happen in this section. Furthermore, you can go ahead and toggle. If you want a removable reminder once you remove the stylus it'll, send you a notification record last removal and vibrate when inserted this device has a few biometrics up its sleeve, which also includes face unlock so unlock with a glance we'll go ahead and set this up.

Let me show you before we get started. Let me show you the default settings of audio and graphics, so taking a look here, it's just on medium as far as the graphic quality and then for the frame rate it's on high, so I put very high and let's see very high, so you cannot go max and very high, so you're going to have to choose which one it is that you want. So let's leave it high in max here, and we'll see how the heating is. Does it warm up and everything let's go ahead and do a little of gaming there we go. Oh, all right.

So here is the lg wing, and I actually do have a screen protector installed on that. I will have that video come out shortly. The next thing to do besides a screen protector is put a case on it. So let's go ahead and check out the case for the lg wing. Let's see what this clear case is all about.

It actually does feel nice like leather, but we know that that's not the case, quick box tool for those of you who want to see it. My first thoughts is yes. My excitement wore off it wore off, not because it's a bad device, but because it is a very familiar device. Almost too similar to the Moto G stylus of last year, I will have to do a video comparing the two devices, so you can see exactly what I mean some things that I noticed that did not make it over from last year's model. Are the stereo speakers, as well as the action camera mode within the camera app. It would have also been nice to have a few more added features to use with the stylus. This device overall will satisfy most people's needs.

The included stylus makes it convenient for taking quick notes. Also, the price will not break the bank, so now I ask you: will you be purchasing the 2021 Moto G stylus?
