Unboxing a 2021 FLAGSHIP KILLER! | realme GT First Impressions [Taglish] By Unbox PH

Hey guys Tito jams here welcome back to the channel where we take awesome out-of-the-box today, we're unboxing a flagship killer, the Realme gt. So here we go at the unboxing realm gt and nothing usually from real me. It's not in their signature, yellow on the back, we'll see the key specs for this device, which is, of course, a Qualcomm snapdragon, 8 processors, 65 watt super dart charge, a 120 hertz super AMOLED full screen and a Sony 64 megapixel main camera for their triple camera setup. So when you open it up, we have a little greeting from the realm team to welcome us to their family, and this is the box that has some of its accessories. That includes the sim ejector pin, and then we have documents which are the quick guide and warranty info plus. Of course, we have a jelly case, but you're not going to want to use this because of the color way that we have, I'm sure you saw it in the thumbnail already.

Of course, we have the phone itself and boom I'm swabbing. It though this is the Realme gt in racing yellow, and I don't know about you better. It really reminds me of bumblebee for now. Let's finish the unboxing, and actually there are only two items left inside the box. You have the USB c cable and, lastly, the 65 watt super dart charging, brick as always recapped eye on my packaging.

You have the Realme gt in racing, yellow, a dark, frosted or dark tinted jelly case, the documents, a sim ejector pin, pro frame, the USB cable and the charging brick okay. So at this point, usually pin ago, but not a new price, but unfortunately like most of our first impressions for Realme smartphones. They haven't this close to us Filipinas or info about availability, I'm sure Marin pro. I just want to tell you guys, that's not from the official, or it's not officially available from realm Philippines, nor is it their authorized reseller. So if you want the 100 legit one on my actual warranty from real me, Philippines, we'll have to wait.

But anyway, let's talk about the phone itself and have a closer look at the Realme gt. Like I said guys, so bran SUA better than a racing, yellow, color variant, or it's actually mostly covered in vegan leather, so soaring set up. The texture is really nice, but I understand, if you want to protect that finish. A bit of good news, though, is that for those who are concerned of wear and tear plus comedy the leather option, has an anti-odor and anti-crack treatment. Of course, the reason why it reminds me of bumblebee, aside from the color, is because of that racing stripe, that's aligned with the camera array, I'm not sure if this is made out of glass or plastic, but I'm guessing the plastic.

Shaft has a plastic, the new frame, apparently so soft aluminum weight at 186 grams. So, on the right side of the gt, you have the power button on my yellow accent, I like it on my headphone jack since and beside it is the USB c port and one of the speakers of this device. So yes stereo speakers here you have the volume rocker on the left side and access to the sim tray, and I know now minus though, for some of you guys: pro Callahan, expandable storage, dual sim tray long shot for those of you who are wondering IP rating in Realme gt, regardless of which version of the phone you get so extra careful, especially on the rainy season. Anyway, let's move on to one of my favorite things about this device. The screen, because really look at that.

It's really, really nice. I don't know if the camera does it justice, like the back of the box s super AMOLED in displaying the game with Dido it measures in at 6.43, inches full HD, pausing resolution yeah, and it has a refresh rate of a hundred and twenty hertz. So for me this checks a lot of boxes, you're getting really smooth navigation through the device faster touch sampling rate for you, gamers out there, plus it's really color accurate as well. Well, HDR pedal at least 20 minutes, HD contents and Netflix, of course, that amulet display also gives you access to an in-display fingerprint scanner and so far accurate dementia. For me, sakulandan placement and sensor, it's not too high, it's not too low.

So I don't know if I just have big hands but yeah. So, like I said earlier, you are getting dual speakers on the Realme gt. You saw the speaker on the bottom. The other one is of course hidden in the earpiece of the phone in terms of sound quality, though, for my initial impressions I would probably give it a 7 out of 10, maybe Malaysia. The volume is really great, but I will keep it at 60 percent and for the sound quality memo matin?e.

But let's give it a listen, and let me know if you agree in the comment section: okay. So let's move on to the camera. So first up we have the 16 megapixel selfie shooter at an aperture of f 2.5 and to be completely honest with you guys. But here are a few samples we were able to take so far, and it's with and without portrait mode. Let me know what you guys think in the comment section down below moving on to those triple cameras on the back again, you have a 64 megapixel main camera at an aperture of f 1.8, and this has a Sony imx682 sensor no is here so take note of that, then you have an 8 megapixel, ultrawide camera and a 2 megapixel macro. So here are a few sample photos we've taken so far and no surprises here.

The main camera does pretty well Kaiden media cloudy was a whole for sample shots and, of course, in better lighting conditions, but you will see a noticeable dip in the details with the ultra-wide, especially around the trees, which is no surprise since it's only at eight megapixels pro. The field of view is really nice. It's really wide. We also test it out, or at least simulated some night shots for you guys in the home studio. So we have pictures with the studio lights, on with natural light coming in from the windows and one with night mode, and we used our blackout curtains for modeling space naming.

Of course, we had to try out the macro lens too, not really a fan of having this around with all of our smartphones, because a major limited guy in use case yeah, but it's there if you want it. So to be honest with you guys, based on just our game, this is just the initial impressions or the first impressions for this phone. The cameras are pretty much the biggest weakness. If you ask me, but then again when it comes to flagship killers, that's usually the case. They really compromise on camera performance, pro, shape, Boeing, newswoman's internals.

You have the Qualcomm snapdragon 8 processors, which gives you access to things like the 5g network, and this also has Wi-Fi six there's also two configurations for the gt. We have the one with eight gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage, and this goes all the way up to 12 gigabytes and 256 gigabytes, respectively, a bit of good news. While I was doing this unboxing, I got a software update that added ram expansion. So, yes, you can add up to five gigabytes of ram on the smartphone, but you do have to sacrifice some of your storage, not a bad trade-off worth reminding you guys, though no expandable storage for the Realme gt. Of course, we still have to run a few tests to see who banjo might work, seeing Realme gt in terms of performance.

You can see some benchmark scores on screen right now and for using the apps that we use on a day-to-day basis like Facebook Instagram, there should be no issue and gaming won't be a problem as well. What you're seeing on screen is Call of Duty mobile with maxed out settings, and it's really, really smooth. Oh, this rum says that they've also equipped the gt with a new stainless steel, vapor cooling chamber to help out with temperatures, and I think this is again something we'll have to test out more. They say that this is more efficient than the copper ones. I'm not sure if that's true, but I'm sure some of you are going to ask if this phone runs hot or not so yeah, we'll test that out for you guys and just check out the full review for the battery.

I also think that this is a potential weak point for this device. It's a 4, 500 William hours, long shot. So combined with that display again 120 hertz refresh rate you might have to bring a power bank with you, Hasselblad powered, or you can always bring the included charger, because a 65 watch and Realme is advertising this, so that you can go from zero to 100 in just 35 minutes. I actually tested it out and legit guys thirty minutes zero to one hundred percent, maybe more my factors Chan, but around that number. Lastly, let's talk about software in Champlain, realm photo.

You have Realme UI 2.0, on top of android 11. , it's not the cleanest in a sense that there are pre-installed apps, but nothing really new. If you've seen this overlay before, if you're a gamer. Of course, you have access to things like game space. If you want us to go more in depth about this, maybe we can talk about it in the full review, but I'm pretty sure that a lot of you have seen this UI before all right.

So I think that's pretty much it first impressions there's a lot of questions to be asked and if you have any questions, let us know, so we can address it in our full review. Hopefully we also have the price for this smartphone already by the time I come that rolls out. I hope really prices correctly for the Philippines, but for now my pros are, of course, the internals again snapdragon triple eight it's the best, and it's the best processor that we can get right now, plus you have access to that new vapor chamber or vapor cooling system, which again, if you're a gamer, that's going to be a big thing for you. Second, of course, is the screen, because screen is very important for me. I feel like they made no compromises for this one, except for HDR, but this is still going to be great for consuming content.

For the cons. Like I mentioned, it's going to be camera performance, of course, there's more testing to be done, better lighting conditions when it's not so cloudy outside and of course. The second thing is that battery life, because again the capacity is only at 500 William hours, and you have a 120 hertz display. So I'm curious to see if this will actually last me a whole day.
