Hello everyone, so today is a very special day if you are new here, which I'm sure a lot of you guys are because people are you know, searching for this unboxing. My name is Sofia Samara I usually make makeup videos, but I do like technology I like gaming, there's a few Sims videos anyway, that doesn't matter so last year. I did an unboxing of the iPhone 10, and that was pretty iconic. To be honest, like it wasn't very good, it still is not gonna, be very good I'm still filming on an iPhone, but this one is the 10 hi so yeah. Basically, this is the unboxing of the iPhone 10s max, and this is super exciting. Before I start, I'm kind of hyper I got a pumpkin spice latte to celebrate so Cheers I drove like over an hour from my school to Charlotte, to pick up this phone because I had it shipped to my wake hometown, so yeah I, just got back like I just ran through the door, got my phone and put my ghetto camera setup up.

Some still using cheap lamps, no improvement over the last year. So that's great, but I did learn how to film in front of a window so yeah um. So anyway, before I start I just want to give like a little shout out, so I'm kind of collabing with my friend his name is Briefly and I will give like a link to his channel. So he's unboxing the same iPhone as me. He just has more storage and I went with the 64, because that was the only one that shipped like on time, and I'm like I.

Don't care about the storage I! Don't use that much just give me the phone. Yes, so go check him out he's doing an unboxing. ? he's really cool! I love him. He actually found me off my last year's unboxing, so we just have this bond over iPhones, so yeah go check him out enough about that. So, let's just get into the phone.

This year, I went with a black phone I've, never had a black phone I wanted one last year, but it bothered me how the back was like Space Gray like how did like a grayish black, not like jet black, but this year I went with the black because I just like putting a black silicone case on it. I have the Apple black silicone case on my iPhone SE, which I'm filming on, and I also ordered the same exact one. For my max I know: I just got a new phone last year, the 10, and I'm honestly really sad, because I have to send it back, because I'm trading it in it wasn't her time to go. You know, like I'm, gonna, miss her I love, you iPhone, 10, I, hope your new owner is absolutely iconic, at least as iconic as I am by the way. This unboxing is not gonna, be like anything professional.

Everyone that is professional has already done their unboxing. They were invited to the Apple event. Okay, this is not a professional video. This is little me that does makeup videos unboxing a phone. So if you want to watch that go for it, I'm, so sorry, this is all over the place, but I'm just trying to get everything out that I can, I was really excited about this phone I wouldn't have upgraded it if they didn't have the max I love plus size like huge screen phones, so I was so excited when this came out, and I'm like honestly, it's worth it to trade in my phone and get this so enough around I'm sure you guys have already like skipped to this part, because, let's be real, who wants to watch like some idiot talk so yeah? Let's just go in I, have a steak knife, even I'm vegetarian wait.

Do I even need a knife? No last year I dropped the phone. So let's try not to do that this year. It's huge by the way. It's like the size of my hand and I have pretty a chubby hand. To be honest, should we do it? Wait, let me get a drink of my pumpkin spice, okay.

Why am I scared? Okay? What's his? Let's just do it paper says designed by Apple in California, which, by the way is an iconic state. I went to LA for them. Oh, look at my ghetto setup. This is the phone. Why is it so big I'm, just going to shut up? My god.

Are you kidding? First, it's a lot heavier than the ten, not like brick heavy, but its like could still knock it out. Heavy wow, it's so clean, I love the black, because it's like very sleek around the sides. Okay, let's peel it look at that reflection. Okay, do you mind? Sorry I problems? Okay, she is so clean, honestly. Once you go black, you never go back even with iPhones.

This is so hot. Are you kidding me? Okay, before we start, let's put a case on it, because I'm stupid I ordered wait. It says: tear along lines, I, love being a stupid. Wait, I didn't even like look at the other stuff in the box. There are headphones, there's a cube.

Who cares like honestly, everyone likes ear pods, but they're too expensive. These are going to get lost. This is never going to be used. No one cares about the rest of the box. Don't act like you do because you don't sorry that was kind of aggressive okay.

So here's the case, iPhone tennis, max silicone case, not leather, because, like I said I actually like animals go ahead and download all the people that hate vegans. For some reason, yeah I had to mention that I'm vegan in an iPhone video, honestly. This is why people hate vegans, alright, here's the case. I literally, have this exact same one on my 10, but let's slide her in okay. Okay, come on girly, don't be scared! Oh, it's! Turning on not I'm, not ready! Oh! That was a clean snap.

This is actually beautiful. Do you see it's so big? That's what she said! Okay! Well, let's wait for this to turn on in the meat. Oh, it's on hello, hey girl, swipe up! So I, don't know if you could tell, but I do speak English. You didn't know that, and you're like how are many videos or United States, so I start using my Wi-Fi network typing in the password. This screen is like seriously huge.

I'll show it when there's no like information, but look at that. It's so huge I'm kind of shaking I. Don't know! Why might be the coffee might be the phone I. Don't know this phone makes me feel like a boss, I feel like I'm running some Empire and I. Just have this massive phone with all these important documents on it, it's activating my phone should I have turned off my other phone.

Sorry I had to like to pause the video I had to activate the phone and like connected to iTunes to update, but now it's having me do face ID. So let's do that. I. Remember last time it was like such an awkward thing: okay to get started. Oh, don't even I! Think I'm, incompetent at first ID scan okay umm, create a passcode I'm, someone who doesn't really like a big passcode.

Let's set up as a new iPhone, instead of taking my apps I'm, just gonna sign into my Apple account now on my phone I have like very small font and bold. So it's like weird to look at it normal, so I'm definitely going to have to change that. I'm. Agreeing to these terms and conditions' setting up the ID I'm humming spice is officially cold. It's like pumpkin bathwater.

That was sitting for two hours. Alright! Well we're waiting for that. What can I do in the meantime? Hmm, I could do a jump cut, but that's boring. Let me tell you a little story. Let me think of something entertaining, so I have a husky, and he's pretty cute.

You know pretty crazy he's only a year old. Oh, it's done never mind on this story. To be honest, I didn't even have a story. I was just stalling. Okay, Express settings, sure whatever I don't really care.

Just get me to the phone we're waiting once again, Apple Pay set up later: because I'm lazy, soda, blade, Siri I. Don't care set up later screen time, sure true tone sure Oh on the max it lets you do the display zoom kind of like the plus phones. So this is normal and that is zoom. Can you tell a difference? It's like very slight. Think I'm going to do standard, but I might change it okay.

So it's kind of telling me like the gestures. Oh, the gestures welcome to iPhone, ladies and gents, but we're all ladies here I mean not really I just like to say. Ladies okay, don't get mad at me! Welcome to iPhone, let's go, so I'm up to get started. Okay, first, let me make the bright. Let me make the brightness higher, so you can actually see and turn off my sounds, so this is the max now I don't have like my iPhone 10 to compare well I, have it, but I'm filming with it, but I can tell you.

This is definitely a lot bigger now the phone doesn't feel like at different, because it's literally the same foam that I had it's just bigger and like as I'm looking at it. It just feels like nicer, I, don't know if it's because it's like heavy because the screen is like so big and vibrant. It just feels like a lot nicer. I feel like if you are going to like to upgrade your phone this year, definitely go with the max other than that. I, wouldn't, unless you don't have the ten already, but if you do have the 10, and you're like should I get the max or is it kind of like pointless honestly I would, but that's like, depending on how much you care about a big screen.

Even though it's like the same phone, it feels different I, don't know why it just feels more of like a solid phone, and it just feels a bit more professional and I. Don't know just it feels nicer. There's like a little icon that keeps popping up and I, don't know what it is that. What is that? Can someone tell me yeah? That's the phone: let's look at the camera! Oh my gosh, okay, I'm, not exaggerating the camera is way better. Apple needs to stop every time they come up with a new phone I get uglier I thought it was ugly last year, but girl this.

This is interesting. Also, I'm, noticing the tones are very different. It's very a lot more true to tone on this phone. I'm kind of shook, like camera, looks good. Honestly, I'm not gonna, drag this out too long because, let's be real I'm, not a professional tech person, but I am going to set this phone up, and I'm going to follow up this video with like a what's on my iPhone 10s max video.

So you can see like what apps I do. What backgrounds I pick and just stuff like that, and I'll, give like a little recap on how I feel about the phone after using it for a little, maybe like a few days a week, I don't know, and I will tell you guys, like some more thoughts other than my first impressions, but right now, I really, really like it, and I'm really happy I upgraded with Verizon I, just agreed to trade in my 10 and finished off my bill, which was like $100 left and I, really only paid like 200 total, with like tax and everything to get this phone and upgrade. So it's really not that expensive I mean yeah, it's still like hundreds of dollars, and it's a higher monthly payment. But I mean it's not like anything compared to the ten. If you already have it so.
