The BEST Mobile Gaming Controller? 8Bitdo Versus GameSir X2 Versus Razer Kishi! xCloud & Stadia

Welcome back guys, so today I got a little different one for you. We're talking mobile gaming, but more specifically controllers for mobile gaming, be it you play Google Stadia cloud, you stream your Xbox to your phone. You play emulators, you play games to the play, store, whatever the case may be. What is the best available controller for those needs? Right I mean I don't like using a touch screen to play games. So a controller for me is a must. Now.

I have three very highly regarded controllers. We're going to be taking a quick look at today, I'm going to let you know what I feel about each every single one of them all three of them. So I have the 8bitdo sn30 pro Bluetooth controller, the Xbox branded one, and then I also have the racer fish, which is also the Xbox branded one. These don't have to be used for Xbox games. They could be used for anything, and then I also have the brand-new game, sir x2 mobile gaming controller, so the racer fish and the 8 bit, though I did purchase myself the game.

Sir x2 was provided to me for purpose, review and hey. I do get some things to say here, so let's go ahead and start out with the 8 bit, though real quick, so I've tested all three of these controllers quite a bit over the past few weeks, uh using them through different services and whatnot. Now the 8bitdo one's a little unique here and that it's kind of not unique, it's just a sn30 pro with the clip for your phone. That's all it is nothing special about. It does have that Xbox branding to it, which is kind of neat, has the Xbox layout for the buttons it works.

Great, I mean, if you like, 8-bit those products. This is a good controller, but what I don't like about it is that it's not unique for android phones- or you know, iPhones whatever you're using this for now yeah it can be multi-purpose. You could use this for plenty of other things, because it is a Bluetooth controller that already exists. You could use this on retropie on your PC plenty of different game consoles, whatever you want to use it for, but as far as mobile gaming goes, this is my least favorite one. This is also the cheapest of the three.

You know controllers that we're looking at today I'll put the price up on the screen. I don't remember exactly what I paid for it, but I remember this was the cheaper one, but with the clip I mean the clip is fine. It's actually a fairly decent clip has two points of articulation as far as how you want to get it set up and then the actual phone holder act. It holds my phone very well. I mean I haven't, had an issue where my phone's sliding out or whatever, but it does have that top heavy issue with it, and I know for the longest time a lot of people use this kind of phone clips, with different controllers and whatnot there's ton of options out there and if that's the style you like.

This is definitely a good one for that purpose. If you want to use it for multiple things, but it just, it doesn't feel good. To me, I mean it's a good controller, but using it for a mobile setup, just not for me whatsoever. So the next one I wanted to quickly talk about is the racer fish. This one was kind of hard to get for a little while, especially the Xbox branded one, but it doesn't matter if you get the moneybox branded one they're all the same, but I paid a hundred dollars for this one.

It has gone on sale for seventy dollars. That's what it's going for right now. As of the recording of this video- and this is a good one. This is a real good one. So the eight bit, though I did forget to mention it- does have a built-in battery 480 William hours, 16 hours battery life, but with the racer fish or even the game, sir.

It's just using the power from your phone, and it does have pass-through. So you could charge your phone at the same time if you're, using the attachment right so very low power consumption with the racer fish. I like how it's like compact, you could put it away and then unclip it and take it apart. It's not a solid piece. It just has that flex to the back of it once you unclip it get your phone in there.

I have a revel 5g from T-Mobile, and it fits just fine. You know I can't use it with a phone case, so that may vary depending on you know the size of your phone, the phone case you're using and whatnot. I've heard you could take the like inserts out of it like the rubber out of it and use a phone with the phone case, but I haven't bothered with that. It's. It seems fine, how I'm using it, but this controller feels very sturdy.

The d-pad is not the greatest in the world, but it does get the job done. The analog sticks feel fine, the buttons you do have that Xbox layout, and they feel great. The triggers are okay. You know these are very low, latency controllers, as far as the way they're synced to your phone and whatnot, but if you're using cloud streaming services that could vary, but I haven't had an issue with all three of these controllers. As far as latency goes and this one I really do like this controller.

It's served me pretty well playing Google Stadia cloud and a few other things with the racer fish. It's definitely a comfortable controller. I really like the way it feels it's a little bulky once you have your phone attached to it, I mean that's definitely going to depend on how big your phone is. Maybe, but it's something worth pointing out, it is a little thick, but it feels nice. The only main thing my biggest con with it is just the d-pad is not the greatest, but it actually gets the job done.

I would give it like the d-pad. I would give it like a seven out of ten. It's a good controller. Now before I give you what my top pick is, which one's my favorite out of the three. Obviously, we have to talk about the final one, which is the game, sir x2, the one that was provided to me for purpose or review and there's a lot of things I like about this about the game serve, but then there are some things that I really don't so when I first got it out of the box.

I was like man. This thing feels really nice. The quality is really nice and I kind of fought with myself for a little on which one do, I think, is more comfortable, but the game, sir, actually for me, wins on comfort. It's a little smaller once you have your phone attached, and it just feels nice in my hands a little butt cheeks on the back, not crazy thick, but it's got some nice little cheeks there, and it feels nice. The buttons and the analog sticks, though, are a little smaller than what's on the razor now the trigger buttons, the shoulder buttons actually like them on the game, sir, better than I do on the racer, but that's kind of where it ends for me, because I immediately noticed- and I mean it's kind of obvious- if you're paying like close attention to detail here, there's no actual d-pad, it's using like a joy-con style, d-pad with buttons and then the face buttons.

The abbey they're reversed as to what the Xbox layout is. So it's a Nintendo layout, that's great if you're playing Nintendo games, but really missed opportunity here when they're advertising this for cloud Stadia all sorts of things, if you're playing, cloud or you're streaming from your Xbox and a game doesn't have like deep on button re-customization, this controller sucks like having to get re-acclimated to the layout when playing Xbox. For me, I struggle with that already going from Nintendo to Xbox and then using this to play games that use an Xbox layout. I don't want to reconfigure my buttons all the time and not everything gives you that ability to do it. So this controller, just I don't know why they went with the Nintendo layout when it's a controller for mobile gaming.

I think people yeah they'll, play some Nintendo style games through their phone, but as far as everything else goes, it's adopted the layout that the Xbox uses for the most part. So it's its. It missed its mark with that, unfortunately, the buttons for the d-pad I'm kind of fine with, but I really wish the face buttons were Xbox style. That kind of drove me a little nuts. Everything else about.

This is great. This controller is an awesome controller and I could definitely highly recommend it, and you know if that one little caveat with the buttons being Nintendo layout doesn't bother you, but it's just something that has to be pointed out. It's a problem with this controller, depending on what you're using it for. So while I really like it, this one cannot be my top pick. Unfortunately, that goes I mean not, unfortunately, but you know what I'm saying it goes to the racer fish.

That is my favorite controller, so far out of the ones I've tested for mobile gaming. I wanted to really like the game, sir, but it's just not doing it with that button layout feels great. The quality is nice and really when I'm looking at the price points now, as far as the racer and the game, sir, being very similar in price, if the game sir, was a lot cheaper, it would be, you know, definitely a decent option. I mean it's not a bad option, it's just with the smaller buttons and the layout just kind of irks me a little. You know what I'm saying and when I notice the price points at this time or around the same, it's like yeah.

If I were to have to choose one of these three controllers to purchase, which one would it be, and it would be the racer which I already spent a hundred dollars on the damn thing. I think it was well worth it at the time now it's its a bit cheaper, so there you guys go. Let me know what you think down below. Have you used any of these controllers? I mean each one will suit people. Well, just you know when give you guys my thoughts on them.

So hey really do appreciate. You all hanging out with me slap that, like button around like a little punk that it is, and I will catch you guys next time, peace out, bye, bye and boom bye. You.
