TCL 10L Emulators : PSP, Dolphin, Citra By MJ Reviews

Hey everybody how you're doing today we have a gaming test on Alcatel, 10 l, so today we're going to try Petra we're going to try uh the PlayStation, portable emulator, and we're going to try dolphin on this snapdragon 665 uh processor, and what we have here. Let me just try it with the dolphin. So here this is just a test. This is Zelda, as you can see, and let me just start playing the game. The setting is just the minimum setting just in general, so you can see it's OpenGL enhancement, it's on native, so yeah. Let's just start with this one right now and see how it goes, it doesn't start what's going on uh.

Let me turn off other stuff, so where's the dolphin emulator, let's go here and by the way this is how they actually segment. So it tells you what gaming software you have news travel live. So if something that is not identifiable, they put it on others and let's go for it, and we're going to start the game. Now. This is exactly the same as the Nokia 5.3 guys it's the same processor. So it's not something! That's new or something that we didn't see before.

No, we actually saw that before. So, let's just start with the game right here and let's see how much f fps we can pull off from this game. So it's very heavy related. There are some areas where it's actually going to lag, which, where you can test the power of the uh snapdragon. Let me just okay, so I'll show you where it's going to lag so not now we're going to have a perfect performance, but if we just take a little of here this area over here, it's cracking so as you can see, it hits around 16 fps, 14 fps really, really hard to be playable.

So what I'm going to do here? I'm going to show you something in the setting you can go to uh. Just put it right here you can go to where is it yeah advanced features and go to game mode, and then you have something called game turbo. Now we're going to test that game turquoise the first time we're testing it whenever tested before. So it says here make the best performance for playing games. It will also increase power consumption, so we're going to click it on, and we're going to go back to the game, and we're going to see if it's actually working.

But here, as you can see, it is still 14 and 15 per fps, so no improvement so far. We're going to do we're. Going to go back turn it off and there is something called game mode. Let me just show you uh: where is it game mode? No, my games yeah my games and here you have to add the uh. You know the games over here so here my games, all you have to do, is just click on it and look for dolphin sorry for that.

Look for dolphin and here's dolphin once we have dolphin checked, go back as you can see it's over here, so you can just start it from oh anywhere place. You want to start it. So, let's just start it from here now it says game mode on: let's go and check out the same area, let's check out the same area that we stopped on and let's see if it's actually improved or not with the dolphin, and this will be the same thing with all emulators like, for example, a PlayStation, portable emulator and all other uh stuff so supposed to be uh perfect for all games, or maybe it's just the overclocking, but we're going to see right now, we're going to see become we're. Going to go through the same area on the right. We got the maximum 16 fps, so 16 fps as a maximum fps.

Let's see if this actually works here or might be a gimmick. Okay, let's go! Where is the area? So let's go here! Wait a second! So we start here, and we go to the left. So there you go, so we actually have some increase a little of increase. Here we have 22. The fps is actually improved right now, as you can see, so it used to be like 14.

Now we have 10 fps, more 23 24. So that's what you get like a little small improvement on the fps, and this is a quiet good working actually at the simulator. Now, let's check out this place, this is very, very heavy place. Is it still yeah actually still doing like 23 24? That's a heavy place, so it's not quite 30 fps, but with snapdragon um 6165. You don't expect that much of fps in this area typically well, the Nokia 5.3. Actually the same area is going to give you the same fps that I'll show you as defaults.

So what are going to happen right now, I'm going to show you the same area with the Nokia and check if it's actually have differences, or is it the same so yeah, let's check out with Nokia, alright guys this is the Nokia 5.3 the same setting exactly the same as the falcate? Oh sorry, the TCL, 10, l and, let's scroll to the right. This is the area we're talking about and, as you can see, you still get 14 13 fps, and it's actually lower. So there is an overclocking uh ability with the snapdragon 665 on the TCL uh 10l in gaming, so it works here with the dolphin, as you can see, and it's really nice now one more thing: we should try the mm emulator, so we have it here on the Nokia. This is the mm and let's take a look at the setting here, so you can see we have enhancements internal resolution set on the minimum and, let's start the game now we should get better a little better fps here, but let's just see if the same price same area we're just going to look to the right, we should get the same fps but mm is actually improved, emulator uh on all devices, especially with the snapdragon devices. So let's take a look: it's actually working here or not.

I should have saved the game by the way. Sorry about that there you go, let's check it out with this mm emulator. If you have a Nokia, you probably you might get lucky for this, and so here yep there you go 30 fps, guys, no issues at all at this area, pure 30, fps. Now what I'm going to do right now, I'm going back to this TCL 10 l, I'm going to switch to the mm, emulator, and you're going to see the performance how it's going to go there so yeah! Here we have some fps drop to 25 26 and let's show you 27. It's a little of a price uh.

You know fps drop 26, 27 yeah. I love that anyways enough with the Nokia. Let's go back to TCL 10l and get the BMG emulator and see how it actually functions all right guys. We have mm emulator installed on TCL 10l and let's see at this area if it's actually going to lag or just drop any fps. So let's take a look so actually this area.

So let's take a look at the fps here so here as you can see, 26 27, so it dropped just like the Nokia guys almost dislike the Nokia. As you can see, the fps is dropping 28 27 25. So here you can see 27 25 so that what does that mean? It means that the emulator I mean mm emulator, is not uh bound by the turboboost here, because I already installed the turboboost on the software here and the turboboost on this simulator, which is mm, is not compatible with the power boost that we have with TC l10 l uh, though the previous one has better compatible. I mean the main dolphin emulator from Google Play Store, has a more compatibility with this game over here so yeah, that's it. It's the same thing that you get from Nokia as from here.

If you having mm you'll play the same powerful thing. So let's take a look at PSP here, and we already allowed the game mode, and we're going to go for god of four, and we're going to see. How fast is it now, as you can see it's lagging here for the reason it's supposed to be 60fps. If we go to the setting, we're going to go for OpenGL, and we have it on for x. So we have to go back to 3x for best performance here, then it's actually still 47.8, but let's just try and get it to Vulcan, and once we go to Vulcan we're going to see if this actually works, fine, okay. So how much do we have here? Actually, it's slower, so OpenGL is better here.

So the best possible way is to just put it on OpenGL and then go to the PSP setting here and set it for 2x. That's the best possible way to get the best. You know outcome there. You go 60 fps. If you want 60fps.

This is what you should do with the game. Turbo. So yeah, that's about PSP! Now, let's take a look at Ciara. Give me shin, mega mi tense, I'm going to try this game over here and, as you can see, the fps is shown here- and this is very, very uh. The emulator is still at early stages.

It just it's got way better than before, but it is actually uh. It does have issues here. So, let's take a look, go to the new game and, as you can see, don't worry about the fps here. This is 20. , so here let me show you 26.

You can see too much stuttering going on too much noise too many problems with the sound, so yeah you're not getting the 30 fps here. Unfortunately, even though with the game boost on this is just a cut scene, you know, so that's what you get from the center actually from uh certain later and yeah. That's it guys.
