TCL 10 Pro 2 Months Later

So I wanted to make another video on the TCL 10 pro now. I've already made a couple of videos on this phone when it first came out, but I figured I'd still go ahead and cover it after using it for about three months and share with you guys what I think of it now, especially since the updates that TCL went ahead and pushed out, and we are doing that right now, even though I carry two phones and the tcl10 pro is my main secondary device, there's just something about this phone. That just makes me smile every time. I pick it up, and that is of course, this beautiful and sleek design. Also, I just can't seem to get over that camera module on the back with the four camera array setup, along with that dual flash setup, it's very light. It's portable.

It looks very premium with this frosted metalized carbon bag. That TCL calls amber gray. It has this curved 89.5 screen to body ratio, AMOLED display, which is pretty bright with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 and does support HDR 10. By the way, if you haven't done so already, please do me a huge favor and hit both the like and the subscribe button there. It's a huge boost to the channel, and I truly appreciate your support here, but anyways now, over the past two months, this phone has performed beautifully at least every time I switch over to it to make it my main secondary device.

It has also received some updates and some of the people who were experiencing accidental touches or had touch sensitivity issues seem to encounter them less. Since the update I personally haven't encountered any lag or issues in performance. The GUI has been very snappy and flawless, and I've never got a call drop on me. I've also enjoyed streaming different types of media playing games, watching videos movies and never had any issues with any of that. I've also used it a lot for things like zoom and also WhatsApp video call.

Furthermore, I have tons of people who use WhatsApp, and I'll call them and video chat with them, and it's been performing fantastic now. Obviously, there are no surprises there because we are looking at a snapdragon 675, which is a pretty decent, chipset and kind of expected in this price range couple that with six gigs of ram and 128 gigs of base storage with the ability to expand that storage via SD card, and you can pretty much see that those make up a pretty solid base specs for such a phone, as I mentioned earlier, the GUI is pretty clean, and you have TCL UI sitting on android 10 here, so overall performance has been really, really good. For me, at least in my opinion, the additional phone features have been working as expected, specifically the in-display fingerprint sensor, which, although not as fast as say your apple touch ID, still works pretty well. I personally prefer to unlock it using face unlock unless I am required to use my fingerprint again. It's not your apple face ID or anything, but it's been pretty fast.

In my opinion, TCL also pushed out a security patch. So, as you can see here, they are pushing out different types of updates trying to improve everything they can on this phone. Just like many other people, I was really excited to have both the headphone jack and also the IR blaster on this phone. I have two TCL TVs. I personally haven't used it consistently with those TVs, but it's there just in case.

Furthermore, I wanted to go ahead and use that battery has been surprisingly good. Well, actually, let me take that back battery has been really, really good. On days, I did heavy usage of the phone. I still ended up with between 10 and 20 percent of the battery left. Depending on how hard I went that day, we're talking, 4 500, William hour battery and the phone itself is fast charged capable with the ability to go from zero to fifty percent of the battery life in about 30 minutes.

The cameras you see here located on the camera module include a 64 megapixel ultra-high res camera, 2 megapixels, low light lens, 5, megapixel macro lens and a 16 megapixel super wide angle, camera now it generally produces some very sharp images. Also, before the update there was a high saturation issue, which I highlighted in my last. Video TCL did push out an update to fix that high saturation issue, and even though I haven't taken a ton of pictures since then, the ones that I took after the update seemed to be pretty clean. It looks to me like the issue was fixed now the color red still looks a little too red to my liking, but overall, all the pictures still come out, really, really nice. Now here's my take for a mid-range phone.

This is still a go for me. The first reason: why is that it's such a stylish phone? I just really like it, because it looks so, so nice, so beautiful. The price, of course, is another great thing about this phone last I checked it was selling for about 380 on Amazon, so down 70 bucks from the regular price. The last thing, of course, is the fact that it performs very well overall, it's a very good phone and I really hope this video was informative, and I hope you enjoyed it. Please don't forget to like comment of course subscribe, and I'm going to catch you in the comments section, and I'm also going to catch you in the next video peace.

You.
