Sony Xperia 1 II Unboxing | The Gadget Show

Welcome back this is the gadget show, and now it's time for a bout of unboxing and in the director's chair is Miss. Georgie Barrett, so I'll just sit here way over to arm legs apart and so what you got, I'll tell you what I've got I've got a device that can offer a cinematic experience with a 21 by 9, widescreen and Dolby Atmos sound, because it looks like the size of a phone very perceptive view. It is indeed a phone, the new Sony Opera, the one to check your mic want. That is the name bit or probably more accurate. The one mark to you have a little look at me. I'll give you some more numbers, say it's Sony's, first 5g phone, and it costs 1,100 pounds and I feel like Sony, have sort of channelled all their expertise when it comes to cameras and when it comes to viewing experience and put it into this phone.

So the first thing I wanted to show off to you is its green, and I've got a handy little socially distant, selfie stick here, so you can check out the really lovely 21 by 9 widescreen. It is a 4k HDR, OLED screen. It also has two front facing speakers on the front: Dolby Atmos, lovely I'm, something that you guys can't feel which I actually get the vibrations through this selfie stick is that it has haptic feedback, so it sort of feels like you're in the cinema. You actually get the vibrations of the sound, but what's the camera like the camera is perfect on it? It's got the same technology that Sony use in their alpha 9 series, so it's very much so aimed at a camera enthusiast, so John I believe you actually already had a little tinker with it. This morning, it's been very interesting when you notice.

First, there are two dedicated Sony. True apps in one for stills one for video, and they've also worked hard to get a sort of camera interface on a photo. You can choose your mode, their programs, shutter speed and change exposure, focusing points all that sort of thing they worked pretty well. I went out with that with Craig earlier, certainly did around the corner and up against the wall. Some results, I think came out.

Quite well what model pays? Yeah, you get three different lenses to choose from there's a sin: two millimeter equivalent there's a sort of standard wide in a super wide which that one is good quality colors, very natural I think good photographs. Actually it's not really yeah. These all seems to work well, I've got to be boarded Craig off yeah, and then we got four things. He understood cars now, D there I think there's alpha coming up. We are yes.

What was the video app like? Well, the video interface is idly even more comprehensive and complicated than the stills one. You can alter the shutter speed. The resolution manual exposure I shot. Some of it is here in 21 by 9 aspect ratio. Very cinematic you can choose from a number of cinema style, looks guitar lessons going yeah yeah yeah very well.

As you can see interesting here, you decided to do a marvelously nostalgic, Harry worth everything sequence. Thank you got to keep the kids entertained and the final thing that I thought would be worth testing out. As you are so good earlier, Otis, oh I can get you to do a little movement run towards me. Because I'm going to try out the burst mode, so this does 20 frames per second, it does the double the amount of what the iPhone 11 Pro does. So you just sort of come towards me three, two, one beautiful yeah! Thank you, thanks! Oh gosh, now I have a thousand photos of you to change from making dreams come true.

Okay, so in summary, Georgie I have Sony achieved their desire to become the photographer's phone. You know, I think a keen photographer would love all the functionality of the apps. However, when it actually comes down to the camera, I'm, not sure if you'd be swapping out your iPhone 11 or your s 24 it, it's definitely not way about the cameras. Okay, thank you. You.
