Should you Upgrade from Pixel 3xl to Pixel 4xl ? - My Thoughts 2 months later

So going guys and Week here with technology PTY, I have the pixel for Excel and pixel 3xl. So, as you guys can see, first thing we notice is that both phones offers the always-on display, so I head on along these phones- and this is another difference on the three XL. We have the fingerprint scanner on the for Excel. We have the face unlock, and it works out pretty good, now price us right now. At the moment of this video I looked on Amazon, the pixel 3 Excel is going for 349 99, 64 gigabytes, internal storage, the pixel for Excel before tons, giving the price went down about $200. It was about six hundred ninety-nine dollars.

Now the price is back up and the 64 gigabyte of the Pierce pixel for Excel, it's about eight hundred and ninety-five dollars and the 128 gigabyte internal storage. It's our 999 dollars. That was one of the complaints. What the phone came out. A lot of people were saying that it's a way too expensive, considering the internal storage and that it doesn't offer access to micro SD card.

Now. What are the things that are? The same, let's talk all that these are the same, so the screen size is the same between these two phones. Now the difference, basically right now. It's that the pixel 3xl on the top. We have the big knot on the for Excel.

We don't have a huge knot on the top board. Furthermore, we still have a big space right now, and they added some sensors right there, we're going to be demonstrating that later, but other than that, the same screen size same screen, resolution 2k same technology, be on it same operating system right now, Android 10, both phones are IP 68 certified they can go on the water. Both phones offer the same megapixel when it comes to the rear and from cameras. Now both phones also offer speakerphones, both phones offers Bluetooth 5.0 and both phones offers the same 80 watts quick charge. What are the differences, or what's new, with the pixel for Excel this here? Well, basically, a better processor, a Snapdragon, a 55 which basically translates into about 30%, faster, more powerful, 6 gigs of ram instead of 4 that we have on the pixel 3 Excel.

Also, on the for Excel, we have the 2 times X zoom telephoto camera on the rear on the 3 excel. We only have one camera. Also. We have extra battery on the for Excel. Basically, we have an extra two hundred and seventy million battery on the for Excel I'm, not sure how much extra battery that will translate into as far as hours, but you're going to get a little extra battery on the for Excel other than that on the camera, even though they offer pretty much the same megapixels, and you know pretty much on a regular basis.

You know everyday situation. The pictures are going to lie the same I noticed by doing comparisons that the details in HDR on the for Excel, depending on the situation. Sometimes you offer you, you get better quality from the for Excel, more detailed and better HD arm. Now what else the display on the for Excel offers 90 Hertz refresh rate, so your experience with everything that you're doing everything that you're looking on the for Excel, it's going to look way smoother, better, just better experience overall, with the display only for Excel and last but not least, the for Excel offers the face scanning or face unlock with the three excel. We have the fingerprint scanner now, just to recap: quick.

What are the things that I don't like about the for Excel and why I will not pay $1000 for the phone? Basically, the reason why most people were disappointed when this phone came out was no 4k 60, recording no wide angle lens with the rear camera also too expensive. Also, no access to micro is the car. Besides, the internal storage is too small. We only have two options: 64 or 128. They should have included at least 256 gigabytes, internal storage version and also, basically, the prophecy camera only records in 1080p.

You know most high-end phones right now are offering at least 4k 30 frames recording with the front-facing camera now, should you upgrade if you're coming from the 3x? So here's what I have to sell out that I think we can all agree that the pixel phones are all about so far and camera. That's basically the main focus of these phones they're, not so much about design. The main focus is so far and camera. Now, if you are considering to upgrade to the for Excel from the three Excel because of the camera, I will say do not upgrade because the extra it's not that much you're, not really gonna notice, a huge difference in terms of picture quality, sometimes like I said before and depending on the situation depending on the time of the day. You know you might notice, with the sky, with the Sun better results with HDR a little of better details, mostly with a know, the face of people, the skin.

You know things like that, but it's not a lot. It's not a lot to justify a the. They upgrade everything else that it's not the sky or people I. Think it's really hard, sometimes to tell the difference in terms of quality. Are you really gaining? Are you really get them getting better quality between one or the other? It's kind of hard to tell sometimes or most of the time, video recording they both record up to 4k at 80 frames and 1080p at 30 frames with the front facing camera so in terms of video recording you're, not gaining anything, there's now any upgrade right there, both phones because of the software upgrade and Android 10.

They now offer the macrophotography option and night side, so you're going to have the same experience when it comes to night side or night, photography or low-light. So in that regard, you're not gonna, get anything better. As far as the gesture navigation, both phones offers the same option, so you're not really going to get anything different either your experience as far as the adjuster navigation, the interface Android 10, it's all going to be the same. You are gonna, get a little of a better battery. So if you feel like you're struggling with the battery on the pixel 3xl you're going to get a little of a better battery with the for Excel, but not a lot.

Probably the extra battery will translate maybe into an extra hour and a half. So if you think that's enough to make the change that's up to you, but it's not going to be a lot. You're also going to get the ref rig a rate of the 90 Hertz. So everything that you do with the phone, it's gonna look better. You know you're gonna, get a better experience.

Everything looks really quick, really smooth on the screen. But again that will be up to you. That's something that you know will justify the change. You're gonna, get the face, unlock and again face or lock. I will not necessarily consider that.

That's a reason for me to upgrade from one phone to another, and then you're going to get an extra 2 gigabytes of RAM I. Don't think that would make a difference in terms of the performance it helps, but basically what is gonna really dictate the performance of the phone is the extra speed on the processor. My final conclusions, our opinion, is that the phone is way too expensive for the storage you know and the fact that it doesn't offer wide-angle lens. It doesn't offer recording in 4k 60 frames and the experience when it comes to software and when it comes to photography it's pretty much the same as the pixel 3xl I will not spend the extra thousand dollars price or graded to a pixel for Excel. I will wait now.

If the for Excel, who offer wide-angle camera I'm recording in 4k 60fps, they were talking, then I will say. Well, you know, maybe those two t would justify the thousand dollar price. You know that would be enough to upgrade and make the change, but right now, I, don't really see the point so anyway, guys I hope you enjoy the video. This is my thoughts and conclusions here between the pixel three XL and the for Excel. Thank you.

I will see you later.
