Samsung tab s7+ vs Tab A7 comparison and speed test

Hey everyone, so this would be a real world comparison and speed test between the Samsung tab, s7 plus, and also the s7, because they're, basically the same uh just different display bit of a different display, but the internals are basically the same on this s7 and s7 plus and, of course, the size difference. Uh. The big thing is the size difference in the display, and I have the SM plus here and then the a7. So of course the big difference between s7 plus and a7 is going to be. The first thing: you'll notice is the size. This is 12.4 that is 10.4, so this is about two inches bigger than that guy uh. Now, that's not to say 10.4 is a small size tablet. It's actually a pretty good size tablet, but it's not the biggest you can get anymore.

I mean s6 used to be 10.5 uh, so difference between 10.5 and 10.4 is very, very small, but the difference between 12.4 and 10.4 is pretty big uh. Okay, let me stop right. There am I mumbling, and so we're going to go over some specs here, very quick, and then we'll get into the extra speed test, and before I do start this. These are both up to as we'll show here, both up to the same on the brightness. But this has different modes.

It is in vivid mode, which is what it comes with. This does not have different modes, it's just what it is, and you guys can see. This is actually quite a bit darker than this when they're both up to the same brightness uh yeah. Okay. So let's talk about dimensions here, so you have.

This is going off of GSM arena, which I love using, gives you a bunch of specs and push any device awesome website. So on the s7 plus, again 12.4 inches, it is 11.22 by 7.28 by 0.22 inches and 575 grams 1.27 pounds, whereas on the a7 here you have 9.75 by 6.20 by 2.28, so it is actually.06 inches thicker than the s7. You know it is a smaller device, but it only weighs 476 grams, so 99 grams, less than the big guy does, so that's dimensions. There display, which is going to be one of the bigger things here is the s7 plus has super AMOLED, and you can do 120 hertz refresh rate, which I have it on at the moment as well, whereas on the a7 it just has an IPS lcd and is 920 hertz refresh rate uh. Personally I do not.

I cannot tell the difference between 60 and 120 hertz refresh rate, but for this video I do have the 120 hertz refresh rate on, I will say normal use. I actually turn that off because again I cannot tell the difference my eyes just cannot see the difference there and that does kill your battery a little, but it does have it. If you want to use it- and I do have it turned on it- says: 266 PPI, whereas over here you have 224 PPI so about 40 PPI difference here. This is using the snapdragon 865 plus, whereas over here we have the snapdragon 662 on it. So this definitely has the better processing unit in it.

As far as GPU goes, this guy has the arena 650, whereas the a7 only has the arena 610. So again this is going to be better. This comes in either six or eight gigabytes of ram. I have the six gigabyte or ram 128 gigabytes of storage version uh. I did not spend the extra money for the bigger one like I did on my s6 uh.

Six gigabytes of ram should be more than enough. I'm not sure how many gigabytes of storage, especially since that's expandable, is more than enough. For me, this only has three gigabytes of ram and 64 gigabytes of storage uh. So this has double the ram and of the storage sound here. Both of them have quad speakers two and two and two uh, but this is going to sound better because it's bigger pretty much anytime a device is bigger than another one.

It's going to sound a bit better, all right! That's enough for specs here! So, basically, of course, the s7 and SM plus are going to be better than this guy because it costs about three times the amount. This is over eight hundred dollars. This is a bit over two hundred dollars, so it's a big difference in pricing here at normal price, uh, s7, s7 plus come with the s. Pen a7 does not, and it is not compatible at all with it all right. So first thing we're actually going to do, which is different from what I normally do here is when I'm going to play store, I will show you.

Nothing else is open, except for chrome, which we were designed, and I did delete the history on chrome, except for GSM marina. All right, then, we are going to show you guys downloading a game here, so I actually hit that one first on the accident, I'll go to temple run both of them are on the same internet, of course, which is my home internet, which is actually a pretty decent internet. Sm plus is done. This is 72 percent. Both are pretty quick but of course, s7 SM plus are going to be faster, as you would expect, and then we'll go ahead and open this.

I probably have to volume up on both of these make sure I hit the correct buttons here. The button layouts are basically the same, just a tiny bit different, so you see us seven plus is going to be quicker again, but when you're in the extra game both will play just fine actually both about the same now. Actually, both are the same. Now. Someone jumping hurt myself here all right wrong exit out of that we're going to keep that game open here, we're going to go back into chrome.

Do some internet searching here uh, so I just want to mention these screens again. This is actually quite a bit darker than this something I've never noticed until I put these side by side, though it's how much darker that screen is uh. Usually I don't keep the brightness up that high either. So please go to a few different websites check them out. Go to Pok?mon.

com first see not much of a difference, but of course, s7 is going to be faster. Next we're best buy this site is always wonky like I say it just messes with things so, of course, s7 plus is gonna load a bit faster. Here. We've actually learned this pretty. Well, though, right now there we go, so someone's like nope, not wanting to load all right, we'll go ahead and keep that like that, now we'll go into YouTube, we're keeping every app open here much before we do.

This so run home. We'll hit explore the plus description, library and illustration we'll go to look up some royalties free music, so this starting off at 7 20 is starting off in 1080, or you can do up to 1080. If you want to let's go ahead and start here with the big boy, big guy, again quad speakers, two on either side, one five turns that way back down here, so both of them sound extra, pretty dang good, both can get very loud, actually loudness or actually pretty similar. I do think that the s7 plus sounds just sounds a little better though refocusing here, but they both look good. Do one more quick search here for 4k video, hey look at that! Actually, the same ad you can see the sun plus is just a little faster.

Now these are two different heads, so we're just going to show off. So this is in 1080p. That's all that I can do on there. This goes up to 1440p. They both look good, though of course, AMOLED display is going to look a little better, and then we'll open up one more app here and that is Samsung newts one two three and um.

I can do a quick, maybe we'll do a quick scribble doesn't want me to use my fingers okay, and then we'll go back into old abs here, see which one reloads, which one doesn't. That is no. Actually, I thought I was reloading at first, but it did not nope buffer is still good. Both are still good nope that reloaded Best Buy's website for some reason reloaded Best Buy's website, but not the other two websites yeah there. You guys go.

Let me know what you guys think. Do you think it's worth spending well three four times the price to get the s7 plus, or are you good with the a7? I think both devices are pretty good here um. I personally do, of course, like the big screen on the s7, plus it's very nice, but that is a lot of money normally price over 800 bucks. Furthermore, I got it on sale from Best Buy a few days ago for 750 bucks. Otherwise, the one of the eight gigabytes of ram 256, fixed, 256 gigabytes of storage, is uh 780 dollars.

Yeah. Let me know what you guys think and then two of course you do get those pen for free would speak free with this, where that you cannot use it with, but I'm sure you can find styluses on Amazon that'll work with that. Just fine yeah. Let me know what you guys think. I think both devices are nice.

This is a little thicker, but of course it is a smaller display uh. This is actually way brighter, which I'm really surprised at because when I was using this by itself did not think it was dark at all but side to side. This thing looks way darker, it's weird uh yeah. So let me know what you guys think. Thank you all very much for watching.

As always, I do appreciate you and hope you guys have a good 2021 goodbye.
