So it's exciting times now, since the first galaxy, z, flip and also the Galaxy Z fold 2 as they've both been very successful since their launch. The original look fold had a bumpy ride with a few design flaws with the foldable screen, also part of the screen missing inside for some cameras and also at the same time as well the actual folding mechanism not working too well, plus also on the side of guessing these floors. It was very expensive to buy in the first place. However, then we saw a massive improvement with the z flip earlier this year and now recently the Galaxy Z fall.2 has been amazing with critics highly praising it. So many new owners earlier this year and throughout the year have been over the moon with the Samsung Galaxy z flip.

It had that amazing clamshell, unique or old-school design, but it also came with 4g and a Qualcomm snapdragon 855 plus out of the box, but then to a surprise to us. In July time we had an announcement that a few upgrades were coming to the same design of 5g and also a new snapdragon 865 inside to bring it in line with 2020 flagship specs. However, there are still some shortcomings, like the external screen display being really tiny compared to say the Motorola racer, and also just a 60hz display inside. It is looking likely, though, that the Samsung Galaxy z, flip 2, would offer Samsung the chance to write these wrongs and if they do some great changes like they did between the galaxy fold and the z-fold 2, I'm not saying the z-flip original was bad or anything, but if Samsung gave it that same TLC treatment, just like they did between the two folds, then the z-flip 2 looks to be amazing. Here is everything we know so far about it.

So if Samsung maintains its regular release schedule for phones over the next year, then the Galaxy Z, flip 2, would most likely arrive a year after the original, which would be February 2021 alongside the galaxy s21 or s30, whatever they're going to call it and that's not been declared. Yet it's most likely that a mid to late February release date is on the cards as well. Just like the original z flip. However, there is a rumor and take the biggest bag of salt. You can find right now and take a massive handful out of it.

Instead of a pinch that there is a possibility that the s21 and the note 21 might be merged into one phone right now to be honest apart from the screen sizes and that s pen, not too much, is different between these two phones. However, this would mean you'd have an announcement of a slate phone at one end of the year and then the foldable phones at the other end of the year, and it is most likely the slate phone would come first. So we could see the Galaxy Z flip 2 later on in 2021 around the same time when they announced the fold and also when they normally announce. A note phone, however, like I said, grab that big bag of salt and take a massive handful, because it's all speculation at the moment for price, though we expect Samsung to take the same approach as they did with the fold and the z fold and to keep prices around the same price as they really want to push out this technology without raising the price anymore. So we expect a 1449 us dollar price tag again this year.

So let's move on to design and specs then so. First, there is a rumor that there's a possibility that two versions of the phone will come out. Two patents, spotted and reimagined by let's go digital in crystal clear, renders appear to reveal two versions of an upcoming Samsung foldable phone with triple cameras. However, it does not state these are for the Galaxy Z, flips. However, let's go digital have done some fantastic renders, and you can see them here of what they believe that the z flip 2 could look like.

There is a third camera shown on the paintings, which is likely a telephoto lens. The Galaxy Z flip features a dual camera setup at the moment of a 12 megapixel main and the 12 megapixel ultra-wide lens. So this would be an enhancement on the original, so that giveaway that I mentioned earlier to be in a chance to get your hands on that brand new iPhone 12 in pacific blue. So let's move on to some other leaks and renders like the ones being shown here, and that is of a full screen on the external case under the camera module, and it looks a bit like a Motorola racer. This screen is said to be a 120 hertz display. If it is true, and it will come with a 3-inch screen what is a bit smaller than say, the original iPhone screen that was on it. This would make sense, as Samsung did do the same with the z-fold 2 we're putting a bigger screen on the front and make it 120 hertz as well.

For now, though, rumors are scarce on the back of the phone. If we get a screen or not. However, opening up the z flip inside screen or the internal screen looks to be the same as the original z flip. With a nice 6.7 inch display and a hole punch camera at the top. However, the big question will be: will it get 120 hertz refresh rate, and the answer I can say is looking to be promising as more and more flagships phones are getting 120 hertz and even some mid-ranges getting 90 hertz and the occasional even getting 120 hertz it's putting a lot of pressure on Samsung, but they need to put 120 hertz on their foldable phones like the z-fold and also the z-flip models.

Samsung must stay up with the competition and push foldable phones out by the masses, and they know this and to do that they will need to put a faster refresh rate screen inside their foldable phones for actual physical design. The phone looks to stay the same though, however, trusted leaker max Wabash has said. He believes the phone will be slightly wider, have a larger outside display triple camera, and it will slightly be thicker and have a sturdier hinge and, of course, that 120 hertz display all the bits and pieces that we've discussed here. We believe the new Samsung Galaxy flip 2, will also only come in a 5g model, and they'll also possibly have that new Samsung Enos 1000 chips inside which looks to be faster than the new Qualcomm snapdragon 875 processors. If this is the case, then there will be no snapdragon processors of any kind in the z flip 2s around the world.

We are also expecting 12 gigabytes of ram this time and the option of either 256 gigabytes or 512 gigabytes, internal storage space, but no micro, SD expansion, one other upgrade we're expecting, is a faster charger in the box and also the z flip 2, capable of taking faster charges somewhere between 25 and 45 watts, while the original Galaxy Z flip could only take 15 watts, then. Finally, we have heard that the Galaxy Z flip 2 could be slightly heavier than its predecessor with that slightly bigger, build and that additional screen to be honest, this is expected so guys it is early days with all the Samsung Galaxy z, flip, 2, rumors and speculations bouncing around.
