Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 - One Month Later, Final Thoughts - Should You Buy? - THE TRUTH! By Chigz Tech Reviews

I have not been conflicted about a smartwatch in quite some time, and I had to use this watch for a further extended period of time before I actually ranked it now. The Samsung Galaxy watch 3 is actually a very well-designed piece of tech. It's got a beautiful, build beautiful screen. I absolutely love the rotating bezel, it's slimmer and lighter than the original model and the ti zen software does not fail to impress. So it's a very well-made software. You have excellent fitness tracking capabilities, including 580 and water resistance, along with swim, tracking and sp02, but there is still no sign of the ECG and blood pressure monitor.

Apparently the ECG and blood pressure feature is enabled in South Korea, but nowhere else- and I think I should mention that the ECG and blood pressure was promised on the active 2, but it never happened. So I'm not holding my breath on these features magically appearing now the biggest disappointment. And yes, it is a deal. Breaker is the battery life now. For some reason, the battery life on the galaxy watch 3 is not good at all.

The watch does not last longer than 1.5 days. I have never achieved more than that. It's always been 1.5 days, and then I've got literally a zero percent battery, and it needs to go on charge. Fortunately, it does not take long to charge. It takes around two hours to fully charge but to charge it.

That frequently gets very annoying. Now imagine having a smartwatch that does everything correctly great health tracking lots of great features but hindered by a rubbish battery life. You have a 340 William hour battery the same as the active 2, but for some reason the active 2 will give you two and a half days. Sometimes three whole days now get this. The galaxy watch 3 and the active 2 have exactly the same screen exactly the same specs.

The only difference is 1gb of ram in the galaxy watch, 3 and 768 megabytes in the active 2. , so you're getting exactly 232 megabytes of extra ram in the galaxy watch. Three and the only new feature I can currently see is the sp02. So now comes the question about price four hundred dollars for the galaxy watch, three 229 dollars for the active two or better yet go for the original galaxy watch for around two three nine, and you actually get a bigger battery than both of these. You get a 472 William hour batteries.

So whilst other companies like honor, are installing massive batteries in their watches, the latest honor watch gs pro, which I have here- has a 790 William hour battery, and it's not that much thicker or bulkier than the galaxy watch. Three. It's only slightly bigger, so you're getting more than double the battery than the galaxy watch.3, it seems like Samsung is going backwards, or they've run out of innovation, or they're, just not bothered I'm not just a techie, I'm actually passionate about tech, and one of my favorite categories above all are smartwatches. As you can see, I pick up. Every single one Samsung does not send me this watch.

I actually buy it every single time. Now I love smartwatches. I see their future potential, but when a company as big as Samsung, basically mocks us by giving us the same product with a slightly different design at extortionate prices, this galaxy watch 3 was a very lazy sequel and therefore, here is my final ranking. I've decided not to encourage Samsung by ranking them higher on my chart, even though the galaxy watch 3 is a very good smartwatch. The silly decision about the battery and extortion at pricing means this.

Smartwatch is not getting ranked at the top of my chart. Now. If the price drops to a sensible level or if the ECG and blood pressure magically appear, then the ranking will certainly go up, but as it stands, what you're getting is not bang for your buck. The galaxy watch 3 deserves to be positioned at number 8 on this chart. Now a few people have asked this question, and I'll answer it in this video, which is better the honor watch, gs pro or the galaxy watch 3.

Now. My honest opinion shows in that same chart. Now the honor watch gs pro is a better overall smartwatch. It's a better, buy you're, getting a great price, great performance, great features and a superb battery life we're looking at 25 day battery life. It is, in my opinion, better to go for the honor watch gs pro over the galaxy watch 3 now.

The only thing that can save the galaxy watch three in my eyes, is to bring that ECG and bring that blood pressure. Monitoring that will make them stand out from the crowd and definitely jump up in ranking. And if that happens, I will certainly drop a new video, so bottom line, save yourself some money and buy the original Samsung Galaxy watch, or even the active, 2, and you're not missing out on anything or better, yet jump ship to honor, who are once again doing great things in the tech world, namely in their wearables department, their new smartwatch, the honor watch gs pro is pushing the barriers of what's possible. You have a 25-day battery life, underwater heart rate sensor and lots of superb features along with a very attractive price, and if you see the build quality, honors watch is on par with the Samsung watches. The quality is not any less than what Samsung are offering you, but owner managed to do it for a much, much cheaper price.

So when companies like honor succeed in doing what they're supposed to do, bringing us the latest technology pushing the limits, it brings shame to giants like Samsung. Now, I'm not a Samsung hater, even though I sound like one, I have every single Samsung smartwatch, I know Samsung can make great smartwatches, so I invest in these watches. I buy every single one they release. If they make a galaxy watch for tomorrow, I'm going to buy it, and I'm going to review it with full honesty. So you guys know whether you should buy it or not.

Not only that, I have the note 20 ultra-right here in front of me, and I am going to be working on this very soon. I know I am slightly late to the party, but I can assure you the video I drop is going to be worth the wait. So the final question here is: if honor can do it, why can't Samsung?
