Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Unboxing and First Impressions By Will's Gadgets and More

What's up guys, this is, will h tech review back with another video, and today I got a new product in the house. The Samsung Galaxy tab s7. So I've been eagerly anticipating this device since they announced it a while back, and I finally got it in now. This isn't the one that I wanted to get. I wanted to get the tab, s7 plus, but my local uh best buy, did not have it in, so I went ahead and picked this up. This is a great tablet.

It's a little bigger than the last one. This is an 11-inch just tablet, whereas my tab s6 was, I got rid of it a 10.5. So let's look at uh. Let me talk about some specs on this first so, like I said, this has an 11 inch 1600 by 2500 display 16 by 10 aspect ratio, 274 PPI. This also has 120 refresh rate, so that is good.

They added that on there. This is running android 10 out the box, one UI 2.5. This has the a65 plus processor snapdragon, has 128 gigabytes for storage, six gigabytes of ram. This weighs 1.10 pounds. This has an 8 000 William battery and comes with a 45 watt fast charger in the box.

You get a 13 megapixel rear facing camera. That's a wide angle, that's capable of shooting for 4k at 30. You also get a 5 megapixel on the rear. That's ultra-wide! You get an 8 megapixel front camera, that's wide! That's capable of shooting 1080 at 30 frames per second. This has four speakers.

AKG tune also has stuff like uh Samsung decks that you can use. Wireless has a built-in uh, fingerprint sensor and you all know. Samsung gets down on all of their features so that all that is a few of the specs. Let's get into the box. So here's the nice box presentation see the device on the front and on the back it tells you uh comes with the s-pen.

I forgot to mention that quick start guide wall charger. So yeah you get your s pen with this as well guys so go ahead and cut this open. Now. You all know I like these Samsung tablets. I've had I've had them just about all of them.

Tab s3 tab s, uh, 6, s4 and now the tab s7. I really want that big one, but I think this one will be adequate right here. So let's set this over to the side. Put that over there get the tablet out. Let's see, what's all included first here, so you get your s pen, here's an s pen, so it looks just like the other one.

I guess it feels a little different uh, but nice. Looking here, you get your s pen! You get your uh wall charger here, get that and let's see what else you get uh. You get your sim card sim tray or this doesn't have a sim card, but you have your trade remover there. So you can put your micro SD card in there. Quick start guide, turns in condition and see what else we got here, and you're going to get just you're charging cable type c, uh type, a to type c.

So that's all you get! Let's get all that out of the way, get the s pen out, put that over to the side and let's take a look at this beautiful tablet. So I end up picking this one mystic black, because uh really it was the only one that they had in my at my local best buy, but I think this one will be hot and uh the last tab, seven was a way the blue color, so there's that mystic black, oh, that thing looks good man, so here it is going around. It has that black uh border going around with that that look that looks really hot man. It's got that it's got some tape on there. Let's get that off there, so there that is so yeah now you can see that shimmy on there.

Let's get all this tape off all right, so all the tape. Obviously I got a little here all right, so you got your slots here for your Pogo pins uh for your keyboard, your Pogo pins there I'm thinking about picking up the keyboard, I'm not sure if you got two of them. Four speakers! You got a mic. There got your volume up and down your power, slash fingerprint sense. Reader.

There uh you trade for your micro SD card, another mic, then, on the back you got that got those cameras. There got a 13 megapixel and a 5 and your flash. This is where you put your s: pen, Samsung, logo AKG. So overall this feels this is nice man, it's 11, inches, here's the front of it. That's your uh 8 megapixel camera there, and it feels good man it's a little bigger than before than the one before.

So let's go ahead and power it on so here's the start stream. It says: let's go so what I'm going to do is drop my information in, and then we'll come right back guys, okay, guys, so we're back in. I got some of my information in here and uh. The first thing you get to on this is the display. So this is not an AMOLED display, but the colors are very nice on this.

They look uh very vibrant uh. This gets up to 500 nits, so it looks like it's pretty bright. I do like how there's very minimal bezel around here and it uh just playing around with it. After putting my information in uh, it's very solid feels very premium. Man uh.

That was one thing I was concerned about- is coming getting this device without an amulet display. So let's go into the settings here, and I want to check a few things here. So, let's see if this thing is running out the box on uh the 120 refresh rate, so it is on vivid out the box. You got vivid and natural uh, also motion of motion smoothness. It is on adaptive, which is the 1 120 hertz refresh rate, and you also have standard right there.

So right out the box, it is coming on the 120 hertz refresh rate and let's go to, let's check the software information here. So let's go to about tablet software information. This is running uh, one UI 2.5 out the box, android 10, and I did have an update. So it's on September, 1st 2020 security patch. So I wanted to see just how much storage is off the box as well.

So let's go and see, so storage out the box. So out of the 128 you're getting 103 gigabytes available, uh everything is using 24.4 gigabytes because I didn't do a backup or restore on this. This is just right up fresh out the box. So, let's see, what's all on this device, uh you get your Samsung stuff here, as you guys can see a folder there. You got a Google folder here: OneDrive google pix and a folder play store, galaxy store, Samsung notes, my files Netflix, so not a lot of bloatware on here, but you do have some and uh yeah man, so uh just moving around with this uh.

This little here feels very speedy move. So let's do a little size comparison right, quick! So I got my don't have, but a few tablets left. If you guys, if you watch my channel, you know I got rid of a few of them for a certain reason, but here's the Amazon fire hd10. This is just for size comparison, so you can see the hd10 is a little longer and the uh Samsung tab. Seven is a little wider and then here's the here's, my iPad 7 gen 2019.

You guys can see the iPad is a little a little taller than the tab s7, but they're about the same width as far as thickness the Samsung tab. Seven is a little thick man, that's a little chunky there, but uh. It feels good in the hand and uh. Let's see here's the s pen, now the s pen has a little different shape. It's a little rounder.

This time you got all your air suite, apps and all that stuff. So you go in. You got create a node view. Node smart, select, all your features there that you have with your s pen and the way it fits on the back. It goes like that now this is a design that I was never truly impressed with how it fits on the back, because it's easy to knock it off.

I'm not very impressed with that uh the way that's stored on there, but all right guys. This is my unboxing first impression of the Samsung tab, s7 uh kind of in the Samsung ecosystem. We got the Samsung watch. I got the Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra over there, so here we go more videos to come on. This tablet will h tech review I'm out.
