Hey everybody I'm Greg from pro clip USA, and today we're gonna, take a look at the Galaxy Tab active ?, all right. Here's the tablet. It is an 8-inch screen and comes with this nice ruggedized case. That's has a little storage caddy for the S Pen on the side here, other things you can expect to find in the box, of course, a charger and some extra tips for that S Pen. Alright, let's do a quick walk around to the hardware here, as you can see, they've decided to go back to the hardware buttons. It's actually being good in a business environment, because, if you're wearing gloves or something you know, the touchscreen isn't gonna work for you.

We have power and volume buttons, of course, camera on the back USB-C. We have Samsung sticking with the aux output, Jack and actually there's been a lot of use on that with this particular tablet on external speakers. So you can use voice over IP or navigation or things like that. One interesting thing about this device are the Pogo pins on the bottom. Now, Pogo pins are secondary charging method that allow you to charge without inserting and removing a cord, thus saving, wear and tear on your device.

As far as specs go there's not anything here. That's really going to blow you away. It's pretty standard three gigs of RAM. It only comes with 16 gigs onboard memory. You can expand that up to 256 with a micro SD card.

Probably the biggest standout feature of this tablet is the durability. It's been tested to be military-grade for dust vibration, shock, extreme temperatures, even salt fog, and it's ip68 rated for water resistance and being a ruggedized tablet. They've ruggedized, the S Pen, along with if it's a little thicker, a little more durable. So if you're in a truck or on a worksite, if you're wearing gloves its still functional, you can still use it to write all the notes. You need another nice thing about this tablet.

The battery is removable kind of bucking the trend from built-in batteries on all other devices. So if your battery runs out of charge, all you have to do is take it out put in a fresh one and of course we here at Pro clip USA, make a variety of different device, specific holders with various options, including charging and key locks.
