Official Google Pixel 5 Case - Basically Black Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unboxing, where we do that small tech- and today I am back with another big unboxing for you, and today we're at the all new Google Pixel 5. The official case to unbox do a quick review. As always, you know throw up the link in the video description. If you want to check it out, this is going to be that fabric case. They really haven't, switched it up in quite a few different years. I guess they've kind of come up with this case in different little variants, color wise, but they still come out with the just black, I believe or basic whatever.

They want to call the black it's black charcoal gray, whatever you call it, and then they got, I believe, maybe a couple more on the scene as well, but I went with the black obviously, so this one should look really, really clean against the black pixel 5 presentation, very clean little g up top 5g pixel 5. That's pretty much it! I think it's about 35 bucks, so expensive, but it's an official product. So, let's get right to it and see if it's a hit or miss, we got lots of other accessories coming. We got screen protectors, some other cases. I think I got some speaking cases coming.

You know how we do it do a big. Let's see, that's pretty much it literature wise all right! That's gonna! Look really look at that, so you got that grayish black, look to it very nice print too. It feels very nice to the touch now I've seen. I don't use this case all the time. I usually do a review and I can wear it for a couple of days before I'm on to the next case, but I've heard a lot of people say that these cases get super discolored, and they're unhappy with them after time.

Let me know your experiences with that. If that's the case in experiences or if you've already had a black one which black one I can't see getting to this color, maybe it does in time just with the jeans and all that stuff as well. But overall, my first impression: it's got a nice premium, build quality too. I got the g this time in whitish gray, camera cutout, fingerprint sensor feels good interior's got this very soft finish, and this is what I really like is that soft finish it feels very premium feels not going to scratch your phone up. So I really appreciate that Google Pixel 5 right there, so very subtle and clean, and you got the same material all the way around the bumper area, so very nicely done, grip wise.

It's going to give you some super nice grip. It's going to take this bad boy and wipe it down, wipe it down like we do clean it up real nice for the camera, beautiful. Let's get right to it. There we go beautiful. Let's check that out that black one tell me that black on black does not look spotless.

I like it a lot. That's what I'm talking about very nice. It's not gonna! This is a super lightweight phone, so it's a slim line case. So you're not going to add too much bulk to a sorry slim case. So you got no problems with this.

One super lightweight fingerprint sensor, it's okay! I wish they would have done something where they actually kind of give you a gradual cut out like make it a circle, but in like kind of an easy access, this is kind of just a drop-off. I wish they kind of made it. So it's a little easier and soft. This is kind of just the unnatural drop off which some other case companies do. This one is not that way.

Just kind of an unnatural drop off, which I can see its kind of a deep cut right there, not too bad. You are getting some nice protection for your camera, no issues at all. With the camera protection. You can see right there, how it's definitely not flush you're, getting some decent camera protection across the board. So no issues with the fingerprint sensor is fine.

Camera protection's good! Let's go and check out the lip because everybody likes a fat Elizabeth and lip protection. It's okay! It's okay, you're! Getting a nice lip protection, all the way around right here, but then obviously you're not getting anything on the bottom. I'm not sure why companies do this is cut out. The bottom there's really to me, give me a case that has full protection. You drop, if you're still going to be screwed.

If you drop it, and it's going to drop the bottom, you got. You got a little of bumper coverage right here, but this part is completely exposed. Do me a favor cover it up for me, nothing on the sides, but again nice grip to it. Cutouts are definitely open, no issues off getting to them, so that's not going to be and that's not going to be issue at all. Now one thing: I'm not a huge fan of you- can see right here.

Here's the volume up and down it's the same material, and it's very hard to press there's the volume is super hard so that to me, it to me, it's gonna even knock it down from being a big hit to even a medium hit. Just because I love having click buttons, and you can't even tell they're there anyways, so they do a terrible job with that kind of differentiating where they're at and then obviously the buttons are super hard to press, not a good job right. There power button you can see they switched it up. This is completely different. The material is different, they use the button, but this one is a no-go for me in terms of just click, if you guys are a big fan of click buttons that might be a dealbreaker for you overall build quality is awesome, lightweight looks good.

Are there going to be better cases on the market? Yes, if you guys are just needing a case when you're pre-ordering your brand-new pixel check it out, I would say it's decent: it's pretty good um, it's over 35 bucks. No, but to me, it's a premium product for your brand-new phone, so at least you're getting some nice coverage and then obviously a case shows off any different. It's different from all the other cases on the market. It's different from your google or your apple or Samsung. Furthermore, it's a different case, and I think they do a good job with that.
