Samsung Galaxy S21 Vs iPhone X! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone: let's go ahead and compare the Samsung Galaxy s21 against the device that I'm pretty sure nobody wants to see, a comparison against, which is the iPhone 10. Now the iPhone 10 originally came out in 2017, and this was that thousand dollar phone at the time the Samsung Galaxy s21 is now a 799 dollar phone. So let's go and see how they compare again. There's like a four-year difference between these two phone kind of now. I will leave the cheapest ones of both of these that I find I'll leave a link down in the description below you can get them from there and help support the channel at the same time now side by side, you can definitely see that there is a little of a difference, but still a lot of similarity. The iPhone 10 has pretty slim bezels, except for the notch up top the Samsung Galaxy s21 now is a bigger phone with a hole punch display which is beautiful.

The front of the iPhone 10 had that 5.8 inch super red and OLED display, whatever they called it at the time and, as I said before, and I'll say it again, and this was the actual iPhone 10 that I used as a main device at the time, and this was a very good phone. I had a perfect time with it. I really didn't care too much about the notch or the surrounding bezel, or anything like that. Furthermore, I feel like the panel of this phone overall was perfect. The Samsung Galaxy s21s panel, though, definitely takes it up to another level.

It's a lower resolution than the iPhone 10, but it's a bigger panel you're. Getting that 6.2 inch, dynamic, AMOLED display and, like I said, 1080p, but you're, getting that fingerprint sensor in the display, the 120 hertz refresh rate as well. That's a really, really awesome feature and definitely the Samsung Galaxy s21 has a better looking display than the iPhone 10. But the iPhone x panel still looks plenty good too, on the bottom: lightning port on the iPhone 10 USB type-c on the Samsung Galaxy s21. In terms of the thinness between the two, they both kind of feel about the same there's, not really a big difference.

I feel like the steel on around the iPhone 10 feels a little better than the galaxy s21, no expandable storage in either. One of these IP certification on both the iPhone x has a glass back. The Samsung Galaxy s21 has a plastic back, so keep that in mind just depends on which one you like personally, I like the glass back on the iPhone 10, but some people have said that the plastic bag isn't as bad as I'm saying so. That may be true. I feel like when it's colder.

It feels better when it's warmer, it doesn't feel as good, but take it as you will dual camera setup on the 10 triple camera setup on the s21 and that really pretty much covers it up on the outside. I think the iPhone 10 feels like the much better phone, but the Samsung Galaxy s.21. Definitely look! Actually. I think the iPhone 10 looks a little better here and there, but the galaxy s 21 still looks beautiful, and you know it's. I think it has the better panel for sure so in terms of the outside.

That pretty much covers it up now. Surprisingly, something that I actually I'm excited to see in the future, which one of these is going to outlast the other one. I'm pretty sure. If I had to put my money on it, I think the Samsung Galaxy s21 is going to be getting more software versions than the iPhone 10, but I'd be surprised. The iPhone 10 coming out in 2017 didn't start officially on iOS 11 like right on the dot, it came out a couple of versions after iOS 11.

, typically and historically. What we've seen is that once a phone comes out from apple, it typically starts off like one of the early earlier versions of iOS 11 that were like the iOS that comes out, so I was like 14.1 or 14.1 or 13.0.1, or something this thing started off a little later, which makes me think that this thing may actually end up lasting longer than a lot of people. Think and considering this thing actually looks like it is, and it looks so similar to the iPhone 12s and probably even the iPhone 13s. This thing is probably going to last longer than we think. To be honest, the Samsung Galaxy s 21 is probably going to be ending off at so if we're on one UI 3 right now, it's going to get one UI four, when UI five one UI six, so it's going to get three more versions of android, where this is probably going to get maybe two or three versions of iOS.

So I feel like this is a pretty similar thing between these two and honestly, it's probably a reason why I would stick with the iPhone 10. It's a cheaper phone right now. In the used market and if you're you know ending around the same time as software updates, that's a pretty impressive thing. If you ask me now, it's not all perfect, because the galaxy s21 doesn't dominate the iPhone 10 and battery life. For some reason.

My iPhone 10 first, has the degraded battery, because it's four years old, almost at this point, but also the iPhone 10, you know it is you know, not necessarily doesn't it didn't, have the biggest battery at the time. The galaxy s21 has a huge battery, and it also has a reverse wireless charging too, which is another pretty cool advantage, so the software may be better on. You know the iPhone 10 when you consider when it first came out to now. It's definitely going to be lasting longer in terms of years than the galaxy s21, but the s21 has better battery life, and it may outlast the iPhone 10 when it comes down to how long it's going to support in terms of software starting now so kind of confusing, but that's pretty much how to cover it up. Let's go and hit on the speed comparison right now or do a speed comparison between them.

The iPhone 7 had that apple 11 bionic chips inside it, with three gigabytes of ram with the Samsung Galaxy s21, on the other hand, has that Qualcomm snapdragon 888 chipsets inside it with eight gigabytes of ram. So let's go and see which one is the faster phone between both of these okay. Now that we're back, let's go and get started. All the apps are cleared out in the background, as you guys can see, that's going to do phone calls three two one and about the same, not really like that big of a difference to be honest, play stores or their app stores. Three two one and the Samsung Galaxy s 21 definitely was faster.

The iPhone 10 still, I guess, loading these images funny, because we still have a vote early thing, even though that happened forever ago scrolling through you can see yeah. Definitely it's faster on the iPhone on the galaxy s21, it's also smoother as well. Eventually, we did get these images loaded on the iPhone 10, so it took a little of time. Let's do their camera apps three two one, and I feel like I did click it a little faster on the iPhone 10, but other than that. Let's keep it going.

I guess we have all these third-party apps that we can go and get into. Let's go and do let's do snake versus blocks three two one and the galaxy s21 definitely was faster. There iPhone 10 a little behind getting into some gameplay. As always, it's really about the same thing: there's not actually the iPhone 10. It does seem to be glitching up a little more than I thought, but other than that they're, probably about the same, but that's 21 definitely faster.

Let's do stack three two one, and you can see again. The galaxy s21 is the far faster one here. I guess the iPhone 10 didn't want to load up this ad. I'm not really to sure. What's going on with this iPhone and to be honest, let's get into some gameplay here, and you can see that we have about the same thing, going on definitely not a difference in terms of the gameplay here, they're kind of like the exact same thing.

I wonder if you guys can see a difference over the camera. But to me, it's almost the exact same thing: let's go ahead and do fruit ninja three, two one, and again we are in a little of a different version on the iPhone 10, but it should still theoretically be the same output, and you can see the iPhone 10. Definitely taken its time. The Samsung Galaxy s 21, as you can see, we do have some sort of feel to connect error. So keep that in mind.

I don't know if that's going to be deterred to the speed, but we are connected to Wi-Fi here so honestly, don't know why that happened. Twitter three, two one and again galaxy s21 is faster iPhone 10, a little behind you do temple run two three two one, and you can see again. The s21 is just passing by the iPhone 10. There's. Definitely a pretty big difference here, and again we get another error.

I don't know what's going on with the iPhone 10, but I would still probably say the galaxy s21 would be the faster one there in that case, as well again getting into some gameplay seem about the same again. These are pretty basic games at the end of the day. Definitely not a ginormous difference and we pretty much have the same thing going on here hopping out of this app. Let's go ahead and do something like Snapchat, three, two one a little of a glitch here, but we were logged in. So that's a little different hopping out of this one.

We can do BFA three two one and again, I think the galaxy s21 was the faster one iPhone's on a little behind. So definitely what I can tell you are at the end of the day. I think the galaxy s 21 is probably a little faster, but the iPhone 10 is actually surprisingly smooth still, and it still has a lot of character for sure. Maybe it is even like still really fast. I don't know both of these are kind of being a little weird, but I'd probably say the galaxy s21 is faster, but the iPhone 10 is still a really, really fast phone too.

Surprisingly, like it really wasn't that much far off than the galaxy s21, so that pretty much covers up the speed comparison, let's go and hit on the cameras. Now on the back, the iPhone 10 had a dual camera setup at 12, megapixel wide and 12 megapixel telephoto lens with the Samsung Galaxy s, 21 had a triple camera setup, a wide angle, lens telephoto lens, an ultra-wide sensor in terms of the camera's UI. You can pretty much see again almost the same type of setup. We can do 4k at 60 and 8k on the back of the galaxy s21, but we can only do 4k 30 on the back of the iPhone 10 and only 1080p on the front of the iPhone 10 or the galaxy s.21 can do 4k 60 on the front, but you can definitely see the UIs are almost identical, but you are getting more features overall on the galaxy s21. But, as I mentioned before- and you know, I've said this for a very long time.

The iPhone 10 has always had an perfect camera setup, no matter what photos you're going to take on it, you're going to have a pretty good time. It's definitely not going to be perfect, but you're going to be getting really decent shots, especially if they're outside indoors you're, probably going to have a little of a different experience, but I've always found that the iPhone 10 had a pretty good camera setup. But again, when you compare it to something like the galaxy s21, I mean this is a much newer phone. You're, definitely going to be getting much camera setup for much better camera setup from this, but you're also going to be getting more lenses and more video resolutions. You can film in and a much better front-facing camera as well, like you were getting a much better camera, I think, than the galaxy s20 on the galaxy s21 than on the iPhone 10, but the iPhone 10 still has a pretty good camera set up for sure.

So, in terms of the cameras, I would definitely give it to the galaxy s21 and honestly to kind of sum up this video and say answer the question: should you go and pick up a galaxy s21? Should you buy an iPhone 10? Should you pick up an iPhone 10 instead? Well, this is what I'll tell you if it was between these two, and I didn't already have a choice. I would probably go for something like a galaxy s21. This phone is more expensive, I know, but it has more features at the end of the day. You're getting a much better camera setup, I mean maybe it'll last longer, I'm not really to sure you're getting reverse wireless charging like this is a flagship phone 120 hertz on the display fingerprint sensor on the display. You know kind of, like the whole nine yards hole, punch, display much better phone, looking at least looking phone on the galaxy s21, but the iPhone 10.

I mean it's so funny whenever I think about these, because this phone still is almost like a flagship when compared to the newest iPhones. If you look at the iPhone 7 and if you look at the galaxy s21, I mean this thing does look a little outdated already because of the notch. But when you look at the iPhone 10 and look at something like the iPhone 12 Pro max, it's not really that much of a difference, you're getting flat sides and better cameras, but other than that. Almost the same thing, you're getting that 120 hertz on this phone fingerprint sensor like this is a much better phone. But I'm still surprised by how good the iPhone 10 was in this video.

It was pretty fast, almost as fast as the galaxy s21. Maybe it would have beaten it if it didn't have weird network issues, you're still getting a super long, lasting phone on this, it's going to be lasting for quite a bit of time. You still get. You know a very premium feeling phone, arguably better feeling than the galaxy s21 because of the glass back, and I feel, like the sides of the iPhone 10, also feel better if you can get over that notch, if you can get over a little of a speed decrease and maybe not as good of a camera like this is still a perfect phone for a lot of people, and you have that checker jailbreak capability. That's an amazing feature that the iPhone 10 has that not a lot of other iPhones have that are newer than it.

So I can definitely tell you that in and of itself, you know those reasons. The iPhone 10 is still a beautiful phone, but the galaxy s 21 may be the better phone for you, so that pretty much covers it up again I'll leave both these phones linked down below and get that from there and help support the channel.
