Samsung Galaxy S21 vs iPhone 12 Mini Simple Comparison Review

How's it going guys today, I'm going to repair the galaxy s21 versus my daily driver, the iPhone 12 mini the s21 goes for about 800, while the iPhone 12 mini goes for 700. So these are the cheapest you can buy from these big name companies. So here are my thoughts with these two phones now for hardware. The higher quality goes to the iPhone 12, just because it's made out of glass, whereas the s20 is made out of plastic, but I will say, though I do enjoy the plastic matte feel on s21 better. Now there is a big difference on size. I do prefer the smaller size on iPhone 12 mini just because I work faster on it, so typing emails reaching on the screen and switching apps.

All that I do much faster, but the pro about having a bigger screen is when you're consuming content watching stuff or even just reading articles, it's just so much more enjoyable on the s21. I would say it really depends on what you want to do on the phone. If you want to consume content and enjoy it or does it work? So for me, I would prefer the iPhone 12 mini just because it's so much easier to hold in my hands and I do a lot of things much faster for the speakers. I'll say the s21 is a bit tiny. For me, the whole sound sounds very atmospheric, so especially the vocals, so the vocals really sound like it's drowned in the mid, whereas on iPhone it's really present, it's really frontal, and it really depends.

If you're listening to music with a lot of vocals and voices, I would say the s21 may not satisfy you it's hard for, but I me that I'm finally feeling good again for the design, though overall I do prefer the Samsung s21. It looks way more elegant and more premium. I do like the shiny trim around it, so it just really catches a lot of people's attention for performance. Both of these phones do have their latest and greatest chip. So, even though, if you are heavy smartphone users that use a lot of apps play a lot of games, it's going to keep up, and if you are a casual user like me, then there is completely nothing to worry about for battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy s21 is gonna, be the winner hands down. It is a bigger phone with the bigger battery. Now, if you're, a casual user. Like me, the smaller battery on the iPhone 12 mini can still last me throughout the day, but if you're a heavy user heavier smartphone user, then of course the s21 is gonna, be the better choice for you. The iPhones do a perfect job during standby time, so overnight it doesn't really lose as much battery life versus the androids or s21, but in general the s21 will last longer than the iPhone 12 mini for software.

It really depends on what ecosystem you like better or which one you're more deep into. I will say, though, the Apple ecosystem is pretty top-notch. Airdrop is probably the best thing for me since I can easily transfer photos and videos straight from my iPhone to my Mac, or vice versa, and it's the little things that count like my AirPods. They seamlessly switch between my iPhone, my iPad and my MacBook. I know it's a tiny thing, but it does make my life easier and if you do want full control, then of course Samsung is the way to go.

I really like how I can just only have the apps that I want and use on the home screen, so it keeps everything looking really simple and minimal. Now moving on to the cameras for the front facing ones, I noticed that if there's no light source on your face on a Samsung, it's a bit darker, but overall I do like the colors better and speaking of colors throughout all these pictures. You're going to see the Samsung. One, of course, is more saturated over the iPhones, whereas on iPhones it's a bit neutral a bit more toned down. I do notice that on some pictures during daytime it's more bluish and during nighttime or when it gets darker, it's more green.

So what do you think from a consumer standpoint? I would say they would prefer the colors on a Samsung, but sometimes it can be too saturated. In my portrait mode experience, I would say they're both identical the big advantage on the Samsung s21 is. It does have a telephoto lens, so you can zoom in if you need to. If you want to take a picture of something in your hands like a drink or bay or something on iPhone, you would have to reach out a bit more, so you can recognize it, whereas on the Samsung x21, it recognizes it right away for the back cameras. Of course the s21 is gonna, be the winner here, because it does have advantage of the telephoto lens.

If you like to zoom in a lot in your pictures, then of course the s21 is the winner for you, there's no comparison. If you do want to zoom in up to 30x, that's when you start to see a lot of degradation of the quality on the pictures, but I don't think a lot of people would need to use 30x anyways for nighttime pictures, like I mentioned before, you do notice that greenish hue on the iPhone a lot while on the Samsung s21 the colors look more accurate, but in terms of what looks closer to the eye, the iPhone is closer just because I think the white balancing is more aggressive during nighttime on the Samsung. So this is the director's view, and hopefully you can hear me it's kind of windy. So sorry about that. But this is what's in front of me and I can actually switch lenses while recording, so I can actually zoom in.

If I want and yeah it's pretty cool that I can just zoom around, and you can see my reaction, and you can see what's in front of me, there is no stabilization, so walking is probably not too bad, but let's see I'm going upstairs and let's do a little speed walk and going upstairs a little. So probably, if I'm running around running gunning, it may look too shaky, and this is landscape mode. So it's probably better off. If you're watching videos um- probably not as useful for sharing through Instagram or Snapchat but yeah, you can do it in both orientation. For the video comparison, I'm only showing the nighttime just because that's when you see the most difference so on iPhone, you can tell that there's.

A lot of yellowish looks which is more on an accurate side, because those streetlamps produce a tungsten look. So that's how it really looks like in real life, but of course not to that extreme extent. The white bouncing on the Samsung makes the yellow go away. So the floor actually looks like it's gray, and the sky pops really well, as you can tell, the vibrant blues, are coming out. As for stabilization, I'm going to go with the iPhone it's a bit smoother.

If you look really closely, you can tell that the Samsung jitters from time to time and both phones will do great if you want to have a bigger phone with a better screen, a punch. Your screen with the camera, that's already ready to go and be shared online, then go for the s21. If you don't like big phones, and you want to have a better grip. If you want to restart on the screen faster work, then the iPhone 12 is it's going to make your life easier. So if this video is helpful, please give it a thumbs up.

That would be much appreciated. Thanks for watching, and I'll see, you guys later.
