Samsung Galaxy S10e vs Google Pixel 3a XL - Speedtest Comparison

Hey guys Danny Boy here and today, I have the Samsung Galaxy S, 10 II and the Google Pixel 3a XL, and what I want to do in this video is a speed test comparison just and also just really a general discussion on the speed between both of these phones. So, as we know here we have the top the line- processor, the Snapdragon 805. There is an 855 plus now, but you know that's just a little improvement, but this is the regular 855 and as a result of that, this phone is lightning fast source. No doubt about it, you know scrolling and all that seems really fast. Everything is smooth. It's just perfect here, guys, no complaints whatsoever and because you have a 438 PPI display, there's a little less pixels to push compared to say a quad HD display, so I think that definitely helps here on the speed as well.

Definitely a good set up here: Pixel 3a XL we've got a Snapdragon 670 processor, so this is a bit of range processor and while the s10 II has 6 gigs of RAM, this phone here has 4. Ok and let me turn the brightness down a little here. Okay, so surprisingly, though, even though it is a mid-range processor, it's still pretty fast here feels perfect, obviously doesn't feel quite as fast as you know, say the s10 II here, but it's definitely fast, okay, no complaints here and because this is stock android from Google. It just it's fine. Now, interestingly enough, even though this has received the android 10 updates, I'm still on Android 9 here, I just haven't updated it to 10, because my other phones are at 9 and because I don't use this phone.

I just didn't want to have tan over here and 9 everywhere else. So I've kept this 9. So beware of that as I'm doing the speed test. Obviously this would ten, you know, might be fast a little faster in its results. I don't know, but the way were funded in this test as I got them both on Android 9.

Here, ok, so let's go ahead and just launch some apps and just see how they compare so make sure everything is looking right here, both on Wi-Fi, actually. First, let me close out all the apps hang on a sec. Okay, so all apps have been cleared out. So let's launch maps and just see what we got going on here. Bible app here from you version, s10, e1, that okay, let's try, Firefox focus, s10 II again, just by a little, try the dictionary again a little slight advantage to the s10 II Wikipedia yep same time.

I am DB, okay, same story, yeah, so I think that's good enough! I! Think you get the point there. The s10 II is going to feel a little faster. But, interestingly enough, all that being said, this is still perfect. I mean it's staying right behind it, and we got a mid-range processor here. So in other words, unless you're doing major tasking here, you know major processes like exporting video or something you probably be perfectly fine with a three a or a three AXL.

You know versus having a Snapdragon 805, but let's go ahead and see how the multitasking is here see if we get any refresh, is here: okay, they both held that okay, that's the dictionary good liking. What I'm, seeing here, Wikipedia very good dude I, am BB very good, so random management here on these phones is looking pretty good here. Guys I mean I, think I'm kind of surprised that we didn't get any reloads there on either. One now I've had this phone for several months. The Pixel 3a Excel here and I can say that the four gigs of ram has been fine.

I've not had any point where I was like well, man I wish I had six or eight gigs I mean the four decks is fine for most tasks. You know where you're really getting an advantage here, because this phone retails for 749 versus 479, so we're talking about a two hundred and seventy dollars efforts here. But this phone is on sale a lot, or you can get like you know. Amazon warehouse steel like I did, but this phones on sale sometimes too, but you know the basically. What I'm saying is where you're really doing well here is with the camera, for the money, I mean you're, getting pretty much.

The 2019 well 2018 flagship Google camera for a lot less and this package, but don't get me wrong. These Samsung cameras are killer, ?, they're perfect, especially in a matter of fact. You have a wide-angle lens there too, but I think either. One of these phones is great with the speed guys. I definitely think that for most people the snapdragon 670 is going to be perfectly fine.

Now, obviously it's nice to have the 855. It's definitely a great thing to have over here, but you're not going to mess it. Perhaps as much as you might guess, you would go on to a more mid-range phone, at least with this processor, so guys, that's my opinion here on the speeds between both of these phones. Like I said, if you have an Android 10 here, it might be edge and up closer or perhaps even beat. You know this phone in some way with the Android 10, but I'm, you know I'm, just not there yet to do that so guys.

These are my thoughts on comparing the galaxy s, 10 e versus the pixel 3 AXL. As always, if you're enjoying my videos, you can subscribe to the channel of course and then heading that thumbs up button helps as well for now guys peace out.
