Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Impressions!

Hello and welcome to ReviewsPK! My name is Ameer and this is our first impressions of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Samsung has fully arrived in the Pakistani market now. We shared the impressions of Note 10 Lite with you guys in the last video and that phone was geared towards business and productivity users. Whereas this S10 Lite is geared towards everyday users and slightly younger generation. If we talk about its variants, then it is unclear yet whether 6GB or 8GB variant will launch in Pakistan. And we will talk about its price and availability in Pakistan later in the video.

If there are any certain things about this phone, which you want me to cover in its full review, then let me know in the comment section below. For now, that is all for the intro. Lets move towards the video now. Keep watching! If you are new, then subscribe to our channel, and turn on the notifications and now we are on Instagram as well so follow us @review_pk If we start with the build and design, there is Glass at the front in Galaxy S10 Lite. I am not sure whether there is Gorilla Glass or not.

I couldn't find any information regarding that online. But it will be confirmed in the upcoming days. The frame of the phone is of metal whereas, the back is of the same 'Glastic' material like we had seen in Galaxy A51 and Note 10 Lite. This Glastic material, is made by the fusion of Glass and Plastic in order to save the cost. And it looks like plastic, but resists scratches better like glass.

Due to a big battery, the phone has some weight to it too and this phone's handfeel is like that of a premium phone to a great extent. If we talk about button placements, then Power & Screen On/Off button and Volume rockers are on the right side of the phone. Whereas, there is no bixby button on the left side only the SIM tray of this phone is present. Whereas, at the bottom side, a USB Type-C Port, mic, and a speaker grill are present. But its sad that there is no headphone jack here.

Guys, the headphone jack is present in Note 10 Lite, and one reason for this might be that Note 10 Lite is geared towards business and productivity users therefore, mostly its buyers would not be inclined to keep wireless headphones and latest technologies kind of things. So I think this is the reason why it is not added in S10 Lite because its target demographic is younger generation who will have things like wireless ear buds, etc. But in my view, it is still a downside in the Pakistani market. Because here people mostly use wired headsets and headphones still. There is a big 6.7 inches Super AMOLED Infinity O display in S10 Lite which has a 1080 x 2400 resolution and the pixel density is 394 ppi. Whereas the aspect ratio is 20:9 There is this small hole punch cutout at the top of the display, which is a defining feature of this phone.

But this hole punch cutout is slightly bigger than the hole punch cut out of Note 10 Lite. In the last few days, we have seen similar hole punch cutouts in other phones as well. Like Vivo V17, Galaxy A51. And this is a great thing because mostly these features were seen in the flagship phones before but now we are noticing that in mid range or upper mid range and in lower premium range as well hole punch cutouts have become a trend, to a great extent. Because of an AMOLED display, you get features like Dark Mode and Always on Display in this phone too.

An optical in-display finger print sensor is also given in the phone. And on first look, the speed of the fingerprint sensor seems fine for everyday usage. Lets talk about the cameras now. There is a triple camera setup at the back in S10 Lite which includes a 48MP Wide Angle camera of f/2.0 aperture, in which Super Steady Optical Image Stabilization is present. Optical Image Stabilization is superior to Electronic Stabilization and this is considered as a flagship kind of feature to an extent.

And it has mechanically built-in stabilization inside the lens, due to which, while recording videos, you will not feel any shakiness and the video comes out to be quite smooth because of which the video recording game of S10 Lite is about to be so good. Along with it in the phone, there is a 12MP Ultrawide camera of f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP dedicated Macro camera of f/2.4 aperture, in which you can take closer images of tiny objects. The maximum video recording resolution of the phone is given as 4K at 30 frames per second. If we move towards the front side, then in S10 Lite, inside this hole punch cutout, a 32MP selfie shooter of f/2.2 aperture is present. I will do a complete analysis of the camera for this phone's full review, so if you are interested in watching that, then subscribe to the channel and stay tuned.

Now lets talk about some specifications and internals. Very strong internals are given in S10 Lite here as well. Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset is given in the phone which is the state of the art, and is based on a 7nm architecture. You will see this chipset mostly in the flagship devices at the moment. Along with that, there is Adreno 640 GPU in the phone.

The phone will launch in Pakistan with 6GB or 8GB RAM and it has 128GB built-in storage in it, which can be increased with its hybrid SIM slot. Which means you can insert two SIMs in this phone or one SIM and a micro SD card up to 1 TeraByte. And if we talk about interface, then S10 Lite will ship with Android 10.0, and Samsung's own OneUI 2.0 is given in it. If we move forward and talk about battery and charging speed, then here too, you will get a lot flagship like specs A 4,000 mAh big battery is given in the phone. And if we talk about fast charging, then here, out of the box the phone will ship with a 45W charging brick.

Yes guys! This phone will come with Samsung's super fast charging and 45W means that the battery of this phone will charge within an hour or less. Which I have never used for sure so I am very interested to use it. This type of speed is available in very few phones still. Huawei has super fast charge but, most of the phones, even the WARP charge offered by OnePlus right now, works on 30W. So in my opinion, a 4,500 mAh big battery along with a 45W fast charging is a huge plus point for this phone.

And considering this phone's processor, RAM and other things, I think that this phone is very well geared towards the power usage. Lets talk about Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite's availability and price in Pakistan. So the phone will be available in three colours in Pakistan, Prism White, Prism Blue and our colour for today, which is Prism Black. If we talk about the price, then we do not have any confirmation by the company at the moment. But according to my estimation, this phone will launch around the price point of Rs 1,25,000/- to Rs 1,30,000/- which is not a low price point, for sure.

But still, if you look at the flagship level phones, then it is much lower than that. And if we talk about availability, then the company hasn't provided us any clarity on that as well. We just know that in upcoming days, its pre-orders would start. And then the phone will start arriving in Pakistan around early February or mid February. So guys, when this Phone will launch in Pakistan, then I would bring its full review for you all.

But in the meantime, there are certain things about this phone that has excited me a lot this phone is offering many Flagship kind of features at a lower price point than Flagships. And this is a very exciting thing. Snapdragon 855, 45W super fast charge, big battery, big screen, a strong camera. I think this phone, power users, productivity users, and content consumers or content creators, it can be a great phone for everyone. But what are your thoughts about S10 Lite? Do let me know in the comment section below.

That is all for this video, I will meet you in the next video. Goodbye!.
