Huawei Nova 7SE 5G Unboxing & In-Depth Hands-on Review

What's up guys Joey here if you've a deck and as we all know, the entire mobile industry is pushing for a 5g world but of all the players. I, don't think anybody is pushing harder than Huawei but smartphones when we think of 5g, we think flagship, but for this phone. That is not the case. This is the Huawei Nova 7sc, which is a mid-range phone sporting. The carry 820 chipset interesting. But aside from that, it's also got a big display, a bunch of cameras, sizable battery and lots of memory.

But before we begin a bit of a disclaimer, this is not a retail box. This is a sample unit. We have here for review, so if you might as spawn your unboxing experience might differ, but for us opening the lid first, we get the phone itself, but all that we have this smaller box with the included case and sim ejector tool and under that the 40 watt, Huawei supercharger, USB, cable and a pair of 3.5 millimeter earphones now checking out the phone itself for our unit. We got the same exact color as last year's made 30 Pro spaced silver, which absorbs the ambient color of the environment. That's in pretty nice.

However, it's a pure dust and fingerprint magnet here at the back panel. We find the quadratic amber module along with the LED flash upfront features a sizable screen at 6.5 inches this one's an LT PS IPS LCD panel, with a resolution 2400 by 1080 and comes with HD art and support like the Nova 7i, the number 70 has its front camber in a punch, hole setup on the upper left side of the screen. The display quality is solid as we get crisp details, vibrant colors and great viewing angles. Brightness is also pretty usable for outdoor usage. Moving on to the rest of the body on the left side is a dual NATO SIM tray with one of the slots, also supporting a Huawei NATO memory card up to 256 gigabytes.

On the right side. We have the power button that doubles as the fingerprint scanner, as well as the volume rocker now I, don't know if it's just for people like me with big hands and fingers, but I find that the volume rocker on the nova 7's grants a bit short. So it's harder to get a correct upper down press on the first time, but nevertheless it's a minor inconvenience if it is at all. Moving on to the bottom, we have the headphone jack main microphone, USB, type-c port and the loudspeaker up top is the secondary microphone all in all. The design and build quality are very premium pretty much like a flagship phone.

It feels solid and a soft metal and glass construction. There's a slight curvature to the back panel, which, along with the curved sides, allow for a very comfortable grip. The nova 7 SE is powered by a high silicon carrying a 25 G chipset with a Mallet g-57 GPU, along with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes internal storage. This setup provides solid performance, as evidenced by a great benchmark scores here. Heavy tasks such as high graphics, gaming and multitasking should post no issue and basic productivity, navigation and social media tasks are very, very smooth.

We also took some sample photos with the Nova 7yz cameras. Shots are generally usable thanks to nice, detail and popping colors, but the dynamic range here is an issue highlights are very overblown, even in environments that seem to be evenly lit, though this might be because this unit is a demo sample and the camera software may not be final. Now for battery the device is fired by a four thousand William hour cell, with support for 40 watt Huawei supercharged, which is pretty nice software wise starting Android 10 with emu on top it's equipped with Huawei mobile services and, as such you'll be using the Huawei app gallery to get your apps, of which there are a lot of bailable. The Huawei nova 7s II is priced at $19,990 with solid specs, including 5g connectivity. The Nova 7e is shaping up to be an interesting addition to a very competitive mid-range market.
